This junior high school ancient history book is focused on entertaining and titillating its readers, with a shallow attachment to accepted Roman imperial history.

Much of what we know about the Roman emperors, from Julius Caesar to the end of empire, is the detail of their deaths. This book, with playful cartoon illustrations, tells those stories, with good, brief reviews of their reigns thrown in for context. Painless reading about the Roman Empire.
