I love writing, and I love LOVE. I've been writing seriously since 2010 and have written 39 books (and counting!) Most of them are romantic fantasy, some YA and NA. There's a dash of paranormal and dystopian romance in my book list as well.

I'm honored to be an Amazon bestseller and multi-award winning author of the bestselling Hidden Saga, which is a 10-book Fae fantasy romance series, the heart-pounding Crimson Accord vampire romance series.

My new Romantasy series, Age of Fae, begins with A Court Bright and Broken, is now a completed trilogy!

I live in Rhode Island where I write in my car at the beach year round and sometimes crave the heat and humidity of Mississippi, where I grew up. I love hearing from my readers! Reach out and say hi anytime.

I liked the ending to this series. It picked back up from the previous couple of books. I enjoyed this series. They were quick reads and fun!

It’s a good ending to the series, but I can’t help wanting more.

We’ve come full circle now in the series, ending much as we began, with Ryann and Lad at Altum, only there is a new prince or princess due at some point- being a quarter human means it’s anyone’s guess if she’ll be pregnant for the full 2 years that elves are or if her human genetics will shorten that time span. When Ryann disappears while Christmas shopping it’s all hands on deck (most of them anyway) to try and save the day.

And we do get a lot of return characters- some only mentioned, others get larger parts- even if it’s only to show up at the Christmas celebration at grandma’s house in Deep River as we close the story.

Lemme just say on that one… Anders is only at the party? At least let him propose there or mention he’s finally bonded and not the “no signs yet”. C’mon, I’m fairly certain Nic shared a story a few books ago about his sister not be afraid of snakes and that, atop all the happy we saw with them before (and still being together) BOND THOSE TWO ALREADY!

Okay, rant done… and back to the review.

I get wanting to include as many people as you can and how those who are bonded want to haul their significant others along, but we really didn’t need Olly, and Wes isn’t along for much of anything except to say the earth-wives are still in a snit. I liked Culley and Lad getting a moment to apologize, but it wasn’t necessary either except you expect it given Culley’s part in finding Ryann.

I wasn’t so thrilled with the risk to Ryann and the baby at the end as that’s a triggering pain for many a woman, but I understand the story demands what it demands.

We never did get our other two band mates of The Hidden much in the series- their biggest moment was smuggling Macy out of Corsica/Europe, but you can’t get everything you want, can you?

Still, I loved seeing how the modern-day elves all adapted to existing as a minority surrounded by humans who once would have been their servants, and this has me even more excited for the upcoming sequel to A Court Bright and Broken (a prequel series to The Hidden set back in more medieval times).

All-in-all this was a fun series to read and I’m happy to own them all.

Hidden Heir : A Hidden Novel (The Hidden Saga Book 10)

This story is about as stressful of a read as you can find. From start to finish your kept on the edge of your seat.
Lad and Ryann, the king and queen of the Light Elves, are expecting a baby. Not as easy feat for those with Elf blood. But Ryann has some human in her, so who knows if that was the charm.
All seems to be going well in their lives, until a Christmas shopping trip turns into a devastating kidnapping. From that point and onward the story is one of fear, searching, trying to find the least little clue of who has done this and where are Ryann and her unborn child.
The Dark Elves and the Light Elves, the human authorities and anyone else who offers help is desperately needed. Frustration and worry consume Lad, their families and friends as time churns and nothing of Ryann's whereabouts emerges.
Finally a break surfaces, but now even more danger is realized concerning Ryann's and her baby's safety. Will both mother and baby be lost at the hands of this deranged kidnapper??
An exceptionally heartbreaking series of event makes the end of this story one that will keep your heart in your throat until the conclusion.
Another Amy Patrick masterpiece!!!

Always new drama

Per the usual in the whole series, just when you feel like things are finally going great for these characters... BAM... Something happens and throws a wrench in the plot.
As with every "happy ever after", the characters that we have all come to know and love get through each challenge 'by the skin of their teeth' and the support of their friends. This book, like the others before it, takes you to the Hidden world and leaves you wanting more and more. There are plenty of twists and turns and just when you think you have it figured out, something else happens.
If you read this book, you will need to start with book 1. At least 1-3 so that you have a decent foundation for this book... Although, reading the whole series is best as you shouldn't miss a word of this series or a moment in this world.

I was given an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Just like Patrick’s other books, Hidden Heir was fast-paced, but maybe a little too fast-paced. I felt it reached its conclusion too soon.

Also, as a nine month pregnant woman who’s due to deliver in two weeks, maybe a trigger warning would have been nice.

Overall, it was a good book, if not a completely satisfying conclusion to the Hidden Saga.

A beautiful way to close out the saga, Ryann and Lad have started a family. Of course, there is always an opening for more adventure. The characters have matured and grown over the series. While the story was serious it brought the crew together working toward a common goal and a bright future for the Elven people. I always enjoy Patrick's visual descriptions and details to storytelling, a pleasure to read. I was given an early copy by the author, my review was voluntarily written.

I was given this book as an ARC. Let’s just say Amy Patrick did not disappoint. If you enjoyed all the other hidden books as much as I did. You will love how you get to see all the characters with their glamours work together. I believe I had experienced all the emotions that one person can possible have. This took me only three nights to finish . I would have finished sooner if I wasn’t in in another state house hunting. All I have to say it is a must read.

Literally have no words. I’m 100000% in love with this entire saga. I’ve read all 11 books this week and now don’t know what to do with myself. I NEED MORE. The ending was so beautiful how all the characters from different book come together. Hoping the author has more side stories to come. In love with the world in “The Hidden”. The author is a pure literary genius. If you haven’t read this series already, you are missing out. Get to it NOW. Thank me later
