Sami Whiteburn made a huge mistake. The Fae enemy stalking her family has finally been killed, and that should have been the end of it. If not for the ring she possessed. One holding an enchanted green stone, brilliant with power and magick. Now the ring has drawn the notice of a Fae king, the ruler of a beastly race and soldiers waging a brutal war—for the taste of blood. Grayson LeRoux has a lifelong mission, to hunt and destroy creatures of the night. When a body is discovered, he is led to a harbor town, where the threat of an ancient evil awaits. Having suffered great loss before, he won’t allow others to fall prey to the beasts invading his world. Or himself to the witch who could steal his heart. A battle against monsters has brought Sami and Grayson together, each with their own unique battle skills for the war that is coming. But when the vicious king shifts his gaze to a greater prize, Sami and Grayson must bend their wills, test their wits, and summon the kind of strength born only of love.

It was worth the wait to finally catch up with The Daughters of Nadia in Suza Kates’ “The Sisters Grimoire Trilogy”. Although this is the last book in the series, Suza delivered another masterpiece with the Whiteburn sisters battling the Fae enemy that they thought was finally eliminated. But this time their nemesis appeared again due to an enchanted green stone ring that Sami Whiteburn held in her possession. So, the battle resumed again with the Fae king who waged a brutal war to get back the ring he believed was his. But Sami was not alone in her quest to get rid of this monster Fae. A secret group of warriors whose missions were to hunt and destroy creatures of the night arrived at the Whiteburn’s homestead to join Sami and her sisters battle this menace. The leader, Grayson LeRoux, is determined to not allow anyone fall prey to this vicious fiend, including Sami Whiteburn, the beautiful witch who has stolen his heart. This remarkable author’s imagination takes you on a fascinating and dangerous journey. I was hooked from the very beginning and couldn't put the book down. Although this ends the trilogy I am hoping that Suza will bring the Sisters back again someday.
A great ending to this series. The daughters of Nadia found not only love but themselves along their quests. If you've never read a Suza Kates book your library is missing a great author. She brings so much to the story you'll find yourself immersed right in the scenery. I highly recommend this series and at others by this author.
I think this is one of the best finishes to a series I have read in a long time . I give it a five paw rating! And since I only have two cats , that is one more paw of my own . Truly a great read . Maybe you could revisit the sisters and fae for a baby birthday party . All of the sister's kids and Rook's and Hellana's ? Maybe a baby dragon ?
Ms. Suza Kates you did it again..enthralled me. A great writer, very descriptive without getting boring.
I hope most who have never read any witches tales will try Kates books. (note I said books not book) I find that when the world seems to much these books are very relaxing, taking you to worlds apart, a get away from all. Guess you can tell I like her
