I loved these stories of Christmas in Jubilee but they were really short stories and I felt like so much was being left unsaid. My rating does not reflect the story's or the writers ability to create a wonderful Christmas story filled with love, I disliked the fact that they were so very short. That may have more to do with the fact that I like a book that has between 2oo and 400 pages. The last story in Christmas in Jubilee was very very good and should have been a full length story instead of a short one because the way it ended was very confusing and there was so much more that could have been written. I really would have loved to read a complete book on this one. I only rated this a three and I feel like a heel because I have never rated a book with a three before, the reason for my rating is I felt they would have been much better as a full length story. I really loved each one but felt too much was missing. I hope this makes sense.
Christmas in Jubilee (Jubilee, Georgia) is four novellas by four different authors, Melisa Klein, Linda Joyce, Rachel W. Jones, and Leah Noel Sims. Each Novella is independent of the others. There are a few common themes. All take place in a small fictitious town in Georgia, it is Christmas time and they each are involved in the Live Nativity program either as a participant or spectator. I really enjoyed the novellas. The stories were very believable but did have love as the binding thread. Would definitely recommend. Looking forward to reading more from Jubilee, Georgia in the future. #ChristmasinJubilee #MelissaKlein #RachelW.Jones #LindaJoyce #LeahNoelSims 34Christmasnovellas #contemporaryliterature #feelgood
A wonderful book with 4 stories in it that take place in Jubilee. Along with small towns come big problems. I loved how each author wrote about a couple and tied all the stories together for 1 big book. Can all the problems be fixed by Christmas and can this small town keep the Christmas spirit? I loved this book and these 4 authors are incredible together. Awesome.
There were 4 stories in this book by different authors—each one was so good that I have to look up the authors to find full size books by them—I didn’t want any of the stories to end so soon!! Thanks to all four authors for giving me such enjoyment!!
