Companies call Caprice when they have a public relations nightmare.
She’s the fixer and she’s very good at her job. She finds resistance with the company owner, billionaire Milo Owens, who seems stuck in his ways.
There is an instant animosity between them, though the raw electric chemistry is hard to ignore. It doesn’t matter how they feel about each other; her body craves his touch.
Caprice is hiding a terrible secret, and her past is about to become her present problem. Mistakes have been made, feelings have been hurt, and hearts have been broken.
Milo Owens is a jet-setting playboy. He has never found a woman with a pair of legs reaching up to heaven he never liked. His character is flawed.
Most people believe him to be privileged, having grown up with a silver spoon in his mouth. He does nothing to portray himself differently. Milo has a tendency to dip his ink in the company well.
The whole concept of sexual harassment is laughable. He wants nothing to do with it; however, things change when he sees Caprice for the first time.
He finds her a challenge and her attitude rubs him the wrong way, yet her body gives him naughty ideas.
There’s something she’s hiding. Is it more than her stunted sexual deviance? He’s going to find out and be damned the consequences.
This is absolutely one of worst written book that I've read. I'm glad that I received it as a free download. This book is not worth the constant barrage of e-mails that I have received since I signed up to receive them. I've read more from her than I usually read in a couple of months from other authors. I've paid for the free downloads with the time I spent reading this book and her e-mails. So, I'll have to unsubscribe.
The writing was disjointed and the scenes jumped all over the place. There's no continuity. One minute he's laying in the floor from some type of blast then he's in the hospital and it's two weeks later. Half the time I didn't know who was speaking. The characters were just thrown in with no introduction.
The book made little sense. You have a professional consultant, Caprice, hired to provide assessment and training on sexual harassment because the playboy CEO, Milo, has a fling with an employee. The next thing you know they're having sex in his office within hours of meeting, and the book went downhill from there.
The sex was the weirdest I've ever read. The graphic, descriptive sex was terribly written. It was almost laughable. The drama was none existent. Sorry to leave such a poor review but the book needs serious rewriting with fully developed characters and a better constructed plot. It's a shame for the book had possibilities and I would certainly like to read more about the characters, especially her roommate, Camille.
This was my first by this author and I enjoyed her writing and her story style but this one was just too fast. Everything happened too fast, things needed more depth and background story. Milo was arrogant and did not appeal to me. It's a short and quick read filled with mystery and passion. I actually thought it was Daniel and that final surprised me. I'll be searching more about Crystal's books.
I did not like it at all unfortunately. The only positive thing I can think of is that it is short. But that may also be what caused it to be so bad. The whole story is incredibly rushed and most of it doesn't make sense. I did not connect with any of the characters and I did not get the instant infatuation at all. There was simply no time for that. I thought both, Caprice and Milo, where extremely unlikable and was just constantly mad with Caprice. Maybe her name was supposed to be a telltale for her personality? I thought she behaved irrational, naive and derogative which was very unfitting with what her character was supposed to be, especially considering her profession. Really a bad read.
I am voluntarily writing this review for this book I received through arc
Camilla was Caprice friend and also a stewardess for a private airline. Caprice was shocked when Camilla gave her a gun to use for protection but she didn’t want it around. Caprices’ mother was killed by an intruder for money for drugs. Her new client was Milo and she was hired to help with the public relations disaster when Milo was caught with his pants down and there had been a settlement. Milo would go after anything that had two legs. Caprice was working with Milo and she couldn’t resist him. Twists, Turns and Ex’s make this very short read.
I received a free copy for review which I am giving freely. Milo is a CEO playboy who knows how to get into trouble with women. He is no stranger to sexual harassment charges. His board of directors hire Caprice to give classes to everyone on how to avoid that atmosphere. The steamy chemistry between Milo and Caprice lead to some hot encounters. When Milo's office blows up, there are twists and turns in the search for the bomber before someone ends up dead. Was it Caprice's ex fiance who was in munitions in the Army or perhaps a conquest from Milo's string of conquests? The Daily Temptation is a quick, page turning read that you won't be sorry you read.
Caprice is a he consultant specializing in sexual harassment training. Hired by the Board of Milo’s company, she is conducting training for all employees to understand how men and women speak, hear, and feel things differently. She is taken by Milo and Milo is taken by her. They each have a past and soon their pasts are catching up to them. Will they survive? Will Caprice be able to handle her growing attraction to Milo and still be effective at her training? You have to read to the end to know for sure.
I received an ARC copy of this book and chose to review it. Crystal Faye is a new author to me and I look forward to reading more of her books. This book was well written. For me this was a quick read. This is a good one to read while traveling. I don't do story spoilers but I will say this one has some suspense in it, so go get it to see what I am talking about! Give this new author a chance.
So I was a little disappointed by this story. It had very little depth and the writing was hard to follow at times. The way some of the text was phrased was a bit strange. Sorry Crystal, I just did not enjoy this story.
It was a good story but short. I felt like something was missing or left out and it seemed to me as if I walked in on the middle of the book not the beginning. The title is apt for the book though.
My first read of this author and what a delight it was to read this superb book. Great storyline with everything a reader wants, intrigue, betrayal, lies, secrets, regret, hate and hurt every emotion you can think of! And best of all twists and turns you do not expect in this wonderful romantic suspense read! I shall certainly be looking out for any books that Crystal Faye writes in the future.
