I cannot think of reasons why anyone would not like to read the book entirely or selected chapters from it. It is a great resource for anyone that is part of or impacted by the operations strategy in his/ her company. The book has many real case studies though I prefer to have more cases.

The authors use lots of charts and graphs to help readers learn the concepts.
It's good for operational managers. Better than the book by Terry Hill and Alex Hill in my opinion.
