Chris wasn’t a part of the calendar shoot—his brother Greg was. When Chris attends the release party for the charity calendar, he isn’t expecting anything but a night of boredom.
Which is what he gets.
It isn’t until the following week when he has a client who turns out to be Mr. December that Chris’ world gets turned upside down.
I am a married mom of four who spends most of the day writing, either on stories or at the blog. I love to write as much as I love to read. I am generally quiet and laid back, choosing to let things slide off me rather than stick and irritate me.
And it's really hard trying to think of descriptives for myself, so I'll just let y'all e-mail me or comment at the blog if there's something specific you'd like to know, and spare you from reading a boring bio:D
Book twelve in the Calendar Men series Santa isn’t the only one coming to town… Chris wasn’t a part of the calendar shoot—his brother, Albert, was. When Chris attends the release party for the charity calendar, he isn’t expecting anything but a night of boredom. Which is what he gets. It isn’t until the following week when he has a client who turns out to be the sexy Dane Dillon—Mr. December—that Chris’ world gets turned upside down.
Chis’ brother Albert met his fiancé through the almost disastrous photoshoot for the charity calendar. They are an adorable couple, and maybe they make Chris want to find someone to settle down with… but who? Cue Dane, the stunning Mr December and his need for a massage therapist. Fortunately, this would be Chris’s chance to run his hands all over the gorgeous man, only in a professional way of course *ahem*.
This is a cute and funny start to another cute and sexy love story for our calendar men. Chris is a cat shifter too which adds to the tale. I’ve enjoyed the entire series and it’s been refreshing to read books that include shifters as an accepted part of society. Of course there are always bigots but I’ve enjoyed the inclusion in these books. Plus they are sexy and fun and a very quick read.
Recommended.
I was given a free copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.
The romance is predictable and the writing mad this an easy and relaxing read.
BUT...
The suspence part of this book actually was what caught my eye the most in the story. It is rare to be surprised by the conclusion in books that are mainly romance, but this actually did that! And as the mystery unfolded the bad guy was actually not the one I thought it would be. I really liked that turn around in the end so this book rocketed up from and average 3 star book to an easy 4 just because of me being surprised!
