I am a voracious reader and have been reading romance for many years, though I enjoy many genres.
I'm a Southern girl, born and raised. I'm surrounded by sweet (mostly), but very conservative people. Little do they know, I'm anything but! I tend to be quite a contradiction and I love being able to express myself in new and creative ways.
Named Jessica Gabriel by my birth mother, my pen name and alter-ego seemed all too obvious. Adopted as a baby, I spent a good portion of my life curious about my birth family. I’ve been lucky enough to develop a friendship with my birth mother as an adult and am grateful to have such a supportive family.
At heart, I’m a bisexual, polyamorous submissive, but live life married to my husband (who is thankfully just as eccentric as I am) and a son who isn’t afraid to be himself.

It's a romance - but not your typical boy meets girl and they fall in love. There are so many pieces to this story and it has one heck of an emotional punch.
Read the warnings listed people. I say again, this is not a typical romance. You have been warned, do not complain if it rubs you raw and makes you face life in ways you don't like.
Because it does. It takes you on a journey with people who are not perfect. The intimate scenes take a side-step that some might not like. But in my opinion, it fits the story perfectly.
I'm proud of this author for telling this story in just this way. I found one word in the entire book that had a typo. One. For an indie author - that's pretty awesome. (now Jess is probably going to freak out over what word - sorry friend)
Strap on your big girl panties and give this one a go. It'll change the way you look at things and people. Maybe even open your eyes a little.
