Kansas is boring and flat, or some people think. Werewolves, vampires, pixies, and other paranormal creatures roam the hills and run the prairie. The eleven short stories in this collection show a darker side to the heartland. Action and romance, from sweet to intense, gives a peek at things that go bump in the night.
Gena Mantz (writing as Angel Edenburn) is a freelance screenwriter, author, poet, semi-professional belly dancer, and home care attendant from rural Kansas. She lives near the Little Apple, (Manhattan, Kansas) out in the middle of a big pasture with her fur and feathered "children", most of them orphans or rescues. Horses, dogs, cats, and even chickens call her ranchette home. She has two blogs- one written in character.
