I’m quite disappointed in this
I do enjoy Theodora’s books. I read almost all of the books in her contemporary series and all but two bits in her paranormal series. Some of her books I absolutely love and some I just have a Luke warm reaction to them and others just aren’t that memorable. I think it’s good that Theodora has a variety of works that can appeal to different types of people. With all that said I’m sorely disappointed in this book. My primary problem with it is that half of the book is told from perspectives that aren’t the main OTP. I find that to be absolutely maddening because having these chapters from other characters breaks up the flow of the story and makes it choppy to read. More so, she uses these sub characters perspectives to fill us in on what’s happening in the main characters story. That was very annoying because in that why can’t the main characters (Rafes and Myrna) tell their own stories. For example (this may be a small spoiler), she has a copy pasted chapter from Knud’s perspective that is highly unnecessary and could easily been written from Myrna’s POV. Or the few chapters from Damianos (which towards the end I started skipping) or one chapter from some random Butler. These POVs aren’t necessary to me and really distracted fro the main story. I also don’t like how sub-characters were used to fill the reader in on (what I would consider) crucial development points in the main characters’ relationship. Another gripe that I have is that I feel that Wilma’s story shouldn’t have been written into this book. I think she should have had her own novella or something because for it took away from the development of Rafes and Myrna’s story. The book is called Rafes so it should primarily feature him and Myrna with few appearances from sub characters here and there but they essentially had to share their story with have the sub characters in this book.
I was also disgruntled (spoiler alert) that Wilma essentially told the end of this story and our OTP is never to be heard from again😒. We dint get any incite into how the OTP continues to build their relationship or negotiate around the issues that strained that strained their relationship in the beginning.
In reading this I’ve found that these books have a few tropes that slightly irk me. One glaring trope being that the female protagonist always sees running away as the main option to solve problems. It happens in this book. It happens, as they referenced several times in this, in Rafes Sr. and Alisha’s story. It happened in Tiara’s (one the books I haven’t read but this was mentioned in this book). It also happens in Theodora’s contemporary series. The running away trope irks a bit because it yields opposite results of resolving a problem. Also running away tends to be used as a climactic tool to build tension in these stories but in the end such easy resolutions are made which makes the female protagonist running away in the first place pointless. Rather than confront the issue that causes the “tension”, these female characters runaway without explaining why and then buy the end of the book they just forgive their partners.
The parts that actually featured Myrna and Rafe’s POV I did actually enjoy which is why I’m so annoyed by the unnecessary chapters in this book. I found myself wishing at points that this story was written over again so it could feature more if the OTP but alas this is what it is. To me it felt like the author want as invested in these characters as if they couldn’t hold up the story on the their own so she filled with other things to fluff it up or to build up to book about other people. Anyway, I had a lot of feelings about this book that I couldn’t not write a review. I’m just disappointed in this.

Wow-wee!!!!!!!!! I loved this series ending with Rafes and Myrna's intense yet touching story! Rafe was all Alpha and very controlling which made me not care for his character in the beginning but he learned to bend somewhat for his mate which in ways lead them to being perfect for one another. Also, I was very pleased when Myrna reunited with her brothers and even met the nieces. Did not give away many spoiler but with the fantastic ending of the Brothers Nightwolf, we NOW know that the DRAGONS ARE COMING!

I'll be the first to admit, after reading the prequel, Rafes: Her President Wolf, I was left a little confused with a lot of unanswered questions. Now that I have finished Rafes: Her Fated Mate, questions have been answered and I'm confused no more. Rafes and Myrna were perfect for each other and Ms Taylor has another winner on her hands. Rafes was not the most likable hero but Myrna softened his edges. There's also Wilma's story which was an enjoyable bonus. This story also shed some light on what's up next with Ms Taylor. The Dragons are coming and I can't wait.

Not my favorite. Personally, I wasn't tripping off of Rafes story. I want to hear more on the mob (Luca) end of theodora's world. I think she has a book about Stone coming out soon? The end of Luca & amber had me on the edge of my seat. I want THOSE two books.
I read (or attempted to read) her book about dragons last year and couldn't get into it at all. This book had a lot of Dragon aspects within it. I didn't like it. apparently there's going to be another dragon book?
When I first read, I had no idea who Wilma was....because I've been so detached from this specific world for so long! but her part was actually so good. But tbh, a bit distracting at points. I kind of wish Wilma would have had her own novella, because it took away from Rafes & Myrna's overall story.
I think that's why I couldn't really connect to this story. I loved Rafes and Myrna as a couple, but there was so much going on, and I don't think you really get to see just THEM like in the other books.
And I STILL have no idea what the black box is, or what is going on with the dragons...

Great book, just too many things going on, that honestly wasn’t needed. (I literally had a character overload moment.) This book had at lest five-six different characters POV that came together towards the end. But out of all the stories told in this one book the most interesting one was Wilma’s story which I felt like it should’ve been a stand-alone.

again as with the previous book i really do not like how TT has included so many other characters stories and pov. i'm not really interested in their pov unless its their book! so instead of getting rafes and Myrna's pov i'm getting Wilma, bohdan, tikaani damianos and colbys n max's too and its goddamn annoying! grrrrr why do this? it totally detracts from the storyline.
Colby- so many issues with his part of the story, his stepfathers cockney (none) accent- absolutely terrible, and the terminology; using 'bird' for a woman, yeah in the 50/60s but in the 90s its rarely (if ever) used and certainly not by the middle classes, so wrong! i really hate it when americans try and write accented English, I'm from Yorkshire and come from a town with a very very strong accent, either do your full research and get it right or don't do it, it totally ruins the books and everytime you read it, it knocks you out of the story.
and even worse his sailing from a northern English fishing village (i'm from a northern English fishing town) and it said he sailed for 3 weeks and then eventually he reached Greece!!!!! its a small fishing boat - it would take way longer than that and its not an easy trip. i live in the south of france and my husband works on the superyachts sailing the med, it takes 3 days just to sail from Cannes to Barcelona on a sumpted up 36 mtr fast superyacht. I went to a greek island last summer and sailed all over and it took 5 hours just to sail from my island to its closest neighbour which was literally just below it. sailing takes time!!!

I have to say was did not enjoy reading this one. It just didn't work for me. There were too many stories going on ... Wilma, the dragon, Rafes... it was hard for me to keep up and try to remember who was who from the past books. I wish the book had focused more on just Rafes and Myrna.

Okay one thing for sure, I was not expecting all that I read to happen. Boy are you guys in for a treat, a real good treat.
So lets start from the beginning.
In this series I've come to find myself in heavy dislike of Rafe, and even though I was holding onto a little of my breath, for me to like him. I found myself actually changing my opinion of him and liking him.
Rafe in the previous book is a big, huge, jerk, who not only control, and rude. But who thinks too highly of himself, and lowly of his brothers, and others.
But that is not the case, and their is more too the picture of what we seen of him in the other books.
I still think that he's a jerk, and the way he treated his brothers, and his cousins is disrespectful, and rude. But I can see a little bit of why he acted the way he did. BUT this doesn't give him the excuse for what he said and did.
Now I absolutely LOVE Myrna, she is the Viking Princess, they call her, and I would not have her any other way. From the way she arrive, and defended her mate, to his family. Jumping down there case that they treat him and actually getting his mom to back down. Now that's what I call a loyal mate, who will stand by you side, and hold you up when you cannot hold yourself up. A real QUEEN.
I love the fact that she was not going to back down to his wolf, and even made his wolf see that he's not in control and that he will come to heel, to allow his human self some relief. All I can think is "YOU GO GIRL!"
I wouldn't change Myrna for anything and really came to love her character. We need more princesses like her, she will make a fine queen.
Now the ONLY thing I have an issue with is the cliffys left at the end of the book. Nooooo why?!?!
Fortunately for this cliffy I actually like it, it's like a smooth wine going down your throat. Or a smooth, sweet piece of chocolate melting on your tongue. It leaves you craving a little more, but just enough to pique your interest, and make you wonder, and become even more curious for more.
Although I have my suspicions about what could possible happen, esp. considering the fact that the other books gave hints of what could happen.
I do look forward to reading the next book.

4.5 Stars!!!
I am actually surprised about this book and how it made me feel. Let me tell you why. This was the third book - last chance I gave for these series, because, truth to be told, I don't actually appreciated the previous two books.
First one I have tried was "Her Viking Wolf". That book catched my attention, because it was a different story than other werewolf books I have read. PLUS Vikings and time traveling?! What do you need more!! But, that book didn't have the natural flow as this one.
The second one was "Knud".Oh.. and did I had expectations for that one. But there was too much sex and not enough of love story. Sorry, didn't work for me.
But this one!! I am in love with this one!!! Moreover, although at the beginning I was confused why was I reading about Wilma, but I urge you not to skip it! That one is a catch and a story that got my emotions to show on the surface..
But Myrna and Rafes was very interesting to read. Maybe because I am a slow-burn romance lover, this one was exactly what I needed. In one hand you expect more of a character from a Viking princess, but in other hand she was ancient woman.. So there you have something to think about. I wish we could have been given more of their interactions, because sometimes there was just to much of background descriptions or not other "NOISE", but it was a lot better than the Knud book..
What I did not understood was why we had to read about Colby and Max. I know why Damianos was interfering, but I would have more appreciated if there would have been more of Rafes and Myrna.
But really Thank you to the author. I will be waiting for the next book with higher expectations, as she shown she had grown with her writing and storytelling.

Strap yourselves in ladies and gentlemen!
What. A. Ride. I'm talking nonstop, chapter after chapter of laughter, excitement, romance and heartbreak. Every chapter was killing me. I couldn't read fast enough, yet I tried to slow down because I didn't want it to end. Rafe was a complete surprise to me. I didn't know how I'd feel about him after not liking him too much in the other stories but by the time I finished, I love Loved him. He's sexy as hell in a brooding, stiff way but he's got his reasons. He warmed up though when Myrna literally fell into his life. Now Myrna, she's the definition of "ride or die". From the moment she saw her fated mate, he was hers and she was his. She fought for him. She helped him find himself. She even went so far as to change for him, all at the risk of losing herself. What a romance they found, it was just awesome. Another surprise was Wilma. I'm so glad we got to see what she was about. I loved how her story began. I was rooting for her, and the life she wanted. But in the span of one chapter, I was rooting for someone else. Someone she learned to love and grow with. Rafe and Myrnas journey was rocky yet beautiful, but Wilmas full circle brought a tear to my eyes. This was hilarious, and exciting, sexy and frustrating, and I loved every second of it. This was the last of the triplets stories, but it's far from over and I can't wait to see what happens next. Once again fantastic writing, now I can go back and get my slow reread on.

Will not be reading again... Glad it was rented and not bought.
Over 25 books into 50 Loving States and Theodora has few losers, but this was another one. A great way to close up the main Nightwolf stories but there was too much going on here... To many different characters and stories were introduced in a way that didnt blend well together. Felt like i was reading 3 different books all at the same time.
If you havent read some of the other 50 Loving states books associated to this one, you WILL be confused. All the the books are supposed to be set as standalones but it REALLY behooves you to read the others. And even then youll be a bit lost with the random jumping around and the not cohesive story lines. Im only here because i made it to the end because i like closure. And im excited about Ola's story.
If you MUST read this book - i advise you to read the others first.

I think this one was the best of the three triplet brothers. Rafes and Mryna coming together, her from a different time period to the future and with a different understanding of the way of the world and mates. Rafes just the day before engaged to another woman who's perfect for his presidency but not more. The worlds colliding and then meshing together was touching in some ways and necessary in others. Once Rafes decided on what was most important and Myrna as well, they worked out the demands of a presidential candidate and non-modern woman together. Rafes stops trying to make Myrna the perfect wife for his campaign and Myrna stops trying to be someone else for him. That she's able to tame his wolf helps tremendously with Rafes fears about controlling his wolf during mating and the whole cast of characters coverage, some of which I was unfamiliar with but assume have stories of their own. Ola's, but yet told in this book seems like it'll be very interesting.
Beyond their story though was that of Wilma and Bohdan. At first I was a bit impatient with how the book began with Wilma before switching off to Myrna, particularly since I didn't realize Wilma was a character in another of the author's books. I liked and was interested in Wilma and was a little let down when we get Mryna instead. In any case, Wilma and Bohdan were tear jerkers for sure and considering the time lost between them, I thought it was heartbreaking but knowing Wilma did come to love her wolf husband made it bittersweet but that she and Bohdan got time together towards the end of their lives means a perspective shift about love and life.

What a Story
I've been waiting on Rafe's book since I read a preview at the end of Fensa's story. It was well worth the wait. I love this whole paranormal series. Rafesson was true to his namesake with his I'll make you not like me at first but by then you'll love me ways. He was actually more stubborn than his father and at first I wanted Myrna to just walk away. I love how he let his guard down with her and started compromising. I'm glad Wilma got to love again. Her father did her and her brothers all types of wrong. The Game of Wolves seriously is no joke. Towards the end of Wilma's part of the story I started getting ready for the water works because I thought something terrible would happen but I'm glad it didn't. There's so much I want to say about this book but I don't want to leave any spoilers. TT did her thing once and now I'm patiently impatiently waiting for Ola's story because I know that one will be awesome as all get it. Ola is no joke lol. I hate the fact the series is coming to an end but hopefully with all the new babies around we'll get their stories too. I mean with love stories like their parents and grandparents have I know they will bring the drama as well.

I Got Feels!!!!!!
This book has not just one, just two, but Three (plus the beginning of another) heartfelt romance stories in it that I can't even properly express how much I adored this book.
Rafes: Her Fated Wolf of the Nightwolf Brothers Trilogy and 50 Loving States written by the immaculate Theodora Taylor is amazing. I read it all in one sitting and can't wait to read it again and again until the next one. I recommend that you read the previous books first before starting it so not get lost. Each story was so beautiful (Myrna) and some parts were tragic (oh Colby) but most of it were just downright sweet (Wilma). Get it now folks.

I love Theodora Taylor. Seriously. Whether contemporary or paranormal, she always gives us a good story.
Loved Myrna immediately, but Rafes? Not so much. So serious and uptight. But when he finally got his mind right and loosened up, he went all in. But Wilma and Bohdan! Absolutely loved their story and how things ended up for them. I never would have thought Wilma had such a history. It made me love her just a little bit more, lol.
The whole Colby Kreft storyline was crazy, and very creepy, but I’m thinking Max just might shake things up a bit. Or, most likely, Ola is going to wreak havoc on everything in Damianos’s previously well ordered life and Max is not going to end up like his papa. I. Can’t. Wait!!!

For me this was the last of the alpha future series that I read, because I read them out of order. Rafes, the oldest of Alisha's triplets has information that most other werewolves are not privy to regarding fated mate gates. As a result of his knowledge he wants to shut them down to which his mother is adamantly opposed. Just as he is ready to black box a gate, his fated mate comes through. The very female put forth by his mom as the poster child for not closing down the gates, Myrna the hot valkyrie babysitter from viking times where he was born. Myrna's instalove for him is supportive, steadfast and true, while he has lessons to learn about how to put your true love first in your life.
I was really surprised and very pleased to find that within this book was the back story for his grandmother Wilma, and within the story she got a second chance at being with her first love. I continue to have one complaint about TT books, because this error is literally in every single book of hers that I have read. I will continue to hope that at sometime she will read a review that calls her out on the most annoying use of the superlative worst when she should be using worse, and unfortunately the reverse is also true, that of using word where it should be worst. Please someone inform her of the correct usage of these two words.

In the beginning I was confused. Trying to figure out how Wilma's story fit Rafes and Myrna storyline, but alas it all had that six degrees of separation effect. I loved seeing Rafes flaws. In Knud's and Nago's story, the reader had an up close and personal view of their issues and Rafes drove me crazy with his perfection and arrogance. It to Myrna to break him and break him and his wolf she did. I truly wish Olafr, Fenris Jr and Myrna could get their parents back in this final installment. What a great read and now I must wait to receive a story about Ola and her Dragon. I can't wait!

Okay story
Not as thrilling as I anticipated since half the book was about other characters - Wilma / Tikaani / Bodhan (history) and Damianos / Fensa (weird past and present thing). Rafes was an a**, Myrna nothing like the fierce wolf she was raised to be. Their courting time when they were together was fraught with tension, when apart hurt and sadness. Their mating was over in the blink of an eye with none of the tenderness afforded the other mates. Still love how the entire family gets involved (no mention of Uncle Mag though). Editing could have been much better. Lots of misplaced commas and really gotta get better using homophones.

Such an amazing book with so many interwoven plot lines!
This is one of my fav books of the whole series. Love rafes n myrnas story interwoven with Wilma n bohdans, as well as all the side characters from previous books and setting up the King of the dragons story too.
I've read the entire series a couple of times but it was before I started to review every single book I read, so I decided to go back through this series solely so I can do reviews.
This book is so satisfying on so many levels. The writing is outstanding, the chararacyerusation brilliant, the live stories sublime.

Forget Rafe & Myrna
Let’s talk about Wilma & Bohdan... Wow! So many tears. Much sobbing and throat closing from the very beginning of their story. They wolfjacked the book!!!
Their love was beautiful. Wilma managed to love two men who loved her and got a happy life with both. Bohdan’s devotion was so heart wrenching. He loved only her his whole life and now I am crying again.
Anyway, Rafe & Myrna were there too and their story was nice, I guess. (Joking, they had a great TT story with plenty of female runaway and some male sacrifices).

Information overload
The man couple is Rafe and Myrna. Myrna has time traveled from Viking time as the fated mate of Rafe, North American President of the Lupines. He's running for reelection and a time traveling Viking princess fated mate is a huge PR issue. However there are like 3 or 4 other storylines. There is the Dragon long trying to get revenge, the prisoner he keeps, his manservant, Rafe's maternal grandma and one of his twin cousins. That's a lot of future novel setups. I also feel like the Rafe and Myrna story was longer than it should have been.

This was amazing 👏🏾 🙌🏾 😍 ❤️ If this story consisted of only Myrna and Rafes then I would have put it in the same category as Nago since their story is similar. It's the addition of the other family members and nonfamily members that elevates this story to another level. Completely enthralled with the world-building, the deep and complex character backstories, and the pace of the story- chefs kiss 😗🤌🏾 Nago was meh, Knud was better, but Rafes was a home run. I'm sad this trilogy is over but then again there are two more books left and I can't wait to read them!

Wow, I really enjoyed Myrna and Rafe's story. I liked the connection that they had. This book was a page-turner. The story was well written and flowed very well. It held my attention the entire time. There were no lulls in the story. I don't like putting spoilers in my reviews, so you will just have to read it for yourself. You will not be disappointed. Great job, Theodora Taylor!

OMG! So many things fell into place with Rafes! It was sad.. I was mad... I was happy. I experienced every single emotion imaginable. My heart is sadden that it can't go on forever, but I know you already have new storylines burning in that brain of yours. I bow down to the Queen of retelling a story from a different point of view and keep it interesting from beginning to end! I can't wait for Ola! I know it will be interesting!!

Finally, Rafes story!! :) I very much enjoyed the romance with Rafes and Myrna with a surprise blend of Wilma's first love mixed in there. I really like Myrna as a character. I got Rafes and I enjoyed reading his evolution but Myrna is just a character I really connected with and adored.
Good story and strong chemistry between the hero & heroine. The banter is at times fun and other times angsty. I couldn't put it down til I finished.

I love your books
I can't wait for Ola book, please tell me that max will be free from Dax for he just broken the females hearts in max family by stealing the fathers an leaving the moms to defend on their own. Plus will know more about Ola sister husband why he was captured by Dax and chained in his castle in Greece.?? And i want more about grandma. She need her own book. I look forward for 2019 book. Love this book. Where is Myrna mom and dad.???.

Werewolves and Dragons
OMG! Loved it. I thought Nagp and Xenon were my favorites, but Rafesson has joined them. I do Love the Silent Broodimg types.
This was an easy and fast read. It had been a whole since I read the other books, but it was fun catching up with FJ and Olafr, Ola and Fensa, Alisha and Rafe. It was also enlightening to read Wilma and Tikaana back story.
What is Drakon up to and what is up with his thing with Ola? Looking forward to the next book.
