Noble Guardian is the third installment in the Immortal Prophecy young adult fantasy/paranormal series. This follows from the events of book two. In this story, the author provides backstory for why Draven made the life decisions he made, especially in light of the evil, insidious man who raised him. Mirela's powers continue to grow along with her relationship with Draven. The latter was a bit awkward for me since I really don't quite get this really close romantic connection with Mirela and Draven that the author was trying to portray. I was a little taken back how Mirela in the beginning of the book found herself in a bit of trouble that she couldn't get herself out of considering she is supposed to this very powerful being. Felt this was a bit slower than the previous two books in terms of action, predominantly due to the increased amount of backstory. There were also some disturbing references in scenes alluding to women being essentially treated as mechanisms solely for breeding. The world building continues, with the dark gods entering into play. I did enjoy getting to know Selene a bit better. Interesting twist towards the end.

This book is the 3rd in the series and you get more background information to help you understand the fight they are fighting, and again at the end, I am left wondering what is going to happen next and the outcome of it all. In this book you get more of Draven's backstory and why he is like he is. Mirela learns more about her powers and where they came from and starts learning to control and use her powers.
There is a build-up to the last book in the series and I can't wait to read it,but also kind of don't want to since it will end lol

Loved this story and the characters. In this book you get more of Draven's backstory and why he is like he is. Mirela learns more about her powers and where they came from and starts learning to control and use her powers. All in all this was an amazing story that gave you some more backstory about the characters and the relationships between them all. Can't wait to read the next story to find out what happens.

Unexpected twist!

I liked this story just wish it was longer and didn't end on such a cliff hanger!
Can the king be more evil? Is the dark not as bad as we thought?
