First, I rate this series a solid 10 stars.
Next, heartfelt thanks to the kind reviewer who recommended buying the 3 book bundle right away to avoid the inevitable torture caused by the abrupt ending of book 1 leaving everything up in the air and NO answers! Talk about frustrating! Glad I was able to continue on to books 2 and 3 with no delays other than for eating and sleeping... I'm sitting here now with twinkling eyes and a knowing grin remembering the many memorable highlights while also thinking of Mimi's oh so innocent looking face as seen in her author's photo. Muahaha ;-) I completely agree with her explanation of the lagoon offering a second chance at life, like Wilma.
BUT, ain't NO WAY on heaven or earth I'd accept coming back at age 20. UGH! Nope. The older I get, the more satisfied, at peace and truly happy I feel. I love being 66. However, I would gladly exchange this body with the one I had at age 20. Hmmm... So here's to my favorite new (to me) author. May your imagination continue doing its magic and your memory never fail to remember to capture it all for us hungry, hot blooded, loyal, avid readers. Now, on to the Vampire's Assistant. Yay!
