“I want to sleep with you, Kelsey March,” he whispered. “After I kiss, bite, and lick you. After I fuck you deep. After I make you come so hard you scream my name. After I make you lose control."

“We’re not so good together because we’re different, storm girl. We’re not night and day or sun and rain. We’re so damn good
together because we’re the same. And you’ll never belong to anyone else. Ever. Neither will I.”
"He wouldn’t be like a gentle rain on the parched ground that was my sex life. No. He would be an overwhelming, drenching storm with lightning bolts and thunder and the insane, crazy exhilaration of knowing you’re in the middle of something wild and uncontrollable."

"I hadn’t just fallen in love with him. I’d fallen in need, in lust, in hope, in dream with him. I’d fallen crazily, head-spinningly, recklessly into him.

“This is between you and me," he said. "Yeah, I’m a fuck-up. I’ve been one my whole life. I’ve screwed with people. Gotten in plenty of trouble. But you think that’s it, you’re wrong. And if you want to know about me, you don’t let anyone else tell you. You deal with me.”

“You’re not allowed to tell me what to do. You don’t say where it happens or when it happens. You don’t even get to decide what happens. There’s only one thing you get to do.”
“What… what is that?” I could barely form the words past the heat filling my chest.
“Surrender.”
“Do you ever let go, storm girl?” he murmured in a voice so low I had to ease even closer, determined not to be afraid of whatever he was going to say.
“Ever lose control?” he asked, his gaze tracking over my face. “Ever surrender?”
Archer was a storm, no doubt, one who electrified and consumed me, but he was also every part of the storm. He was the calm right in the center of it. He was the blue sky behind the clouds. He was the sheltering place where I could crawl into safety.
I shut my eyes, feeling myself tipping forward into the abyss.
“Say it,” he whispered.
“I… I surrender.”
“Good girl.” His mouth crashed down on my mine again.
I surrendered.

"..Except this was ARCHER WEST,
a man who had chrashed into my life
like a lightning bolt and set it afire.."

DEAN & LIV's
story, I still enjoyed it immensly. There were just some minor things that didn't work for me

"You don't make the rules storm girl," he repeated lowering his head to trail his lips against my neck. "You don't do anything but what I tell you to do."
"I knew you'd like it rough," he continued, and his voice was like a hot, drenching rainstorm pouring over me.

I would never be able to protect myself from the storm. Because the storm was everything-love, desire, happiness, sorrow, pain. Life.

Aside from her simmering repression and insane sex appeal, she was different. Uptight, yeah, but also interesting.
Too much. Everything about him was too much. He was too big, too beautiful, too dangerous, too goddamned cute.

I want to sleep with you, Kelsey March. After I kiss, bite, and lick you. After I fuck you deep. After I make you come so hard you scream my name.
Even though he was a force of nature I couldn’t control, I wanted to live right in the center of him.
