Love Me or Leave Me Alone

Rate this book
Mission Alexander is the epitome of a boss. Rude, uncaring, and sexy all at the same time, Mission is who he is unapologetically. Nothing comes before his money or his business. Now that he has conquered the illegal world, his cousin urges him to cross over into the legit side. Not liking change, Mission resists this new venture until he realizes the connection it has with someone he wants. Tayah Nolan!

Tayah Nolan has always settled to make things in her life easy; this includes her fiance and career. Feeling like her life is stagnant, with some encouragement from her sister, Myon, she finally takes a risk that will change her whole life. Meeting Mission Alexander forces some big changes in her personal and professional life, but is she prepared to embrace either one?

Myon Nolan is what some would call a free spirit. Living life day to day, she prefers things to just flow. This has caused her to stay with her boyfriend, Niko, even though she knows he constantly cheats on her. A quick run in with Navarro Alexander has Myon realizing what a real man is like, even before she wants to acknowledge it.

Navarro Alexander, lawyer by day and thug by night, has been stuck in his situationship for far to long. He is comfortable where he is at, but in the back of his mind, he knows he wants more. A rough upbringing causes Navarro to care more than he should for people.

Navigating through their personal and professional lives, these four must figure out how everything fits together. The puzzle won't be easy and will have each of them reevaluating things. As they go back and forth, there will come a time when they each think, "Love Me or Leave Me Alone."

The story was just okay. The back & forth repetitive conversation between mission and tay got old quick. There was no chemistry between the couples. The best relationship was that of navarro and mission. I couldn't connect with any of the characters and the back & forth made for some confusing moments. Overall when some of note did happen, it made the story worth continuing.

I had to push myself to finish.

This book is more suited for teenagers in my opinion. Even though there is a lot of adult content, the characters are childish. I expected better from KC. I’m not reading anymore from this series.

Omg that ending has left me holding my breath and I’m sure there will be plenty of drama unfolding in book two... I have so many unanswered questions I can’t wait to get answers to while I’m praying that these couples make it through the turmoil

Tayah and Myon were sisters that were as close as thieves. Tarique was engaged to Tayah, and Niko had been with Myon for years. The sisters met cousins Mission, and Navarro in Allure, and at first, you would have thought that the two men were just plain idiots. Navarro had a situation with Tiv'eah, going through the emotions, but he wasn't happy. A appointment was made, that ended up putting a sour taste in Mission's mouth, and he only wanted to work with Tayah. The more time that Mission spent with Tayah, the more he was feeling her.

Myon and Navarro's first interaction you could see the chemistry. You could tell from the beginning that both were feeling each other, but due to Navarro's situation with Tiv, he felt obligated to stay with her, putting My into the friendship zone. My wasn't the type of person that would ever accept being the side chick. My wasn't unhappy in her relationship, but with spending more time with Navarro, she realized that she wanted more. She knew that Niko wasn't a bad person, but he just wasn't the person for her.

The couples were in denial about their feelings toward one another, but it was obvious what was going on. Navarro and Mission realized that they had good women, and wanted to see where it would go. Navarro and Mission, both did things that they never thought about doing, settling down, and everyone was happy. The exs were not ready to let go, but what was the point in holding on to someone /something when it was only out of convenience?! Niko and Tarique's egos were hurt, knowing that not only did they take a lose with their women, but with their bosses.

WOW, an interesting start... Truly interesting!!!

This is a little bit different, confusing and yet very interesting and entertaining.
Mission is man what a mission... Alpha, thug, boss, loyal, very well endowed, good looking, but somewhat crazy, bipolar, demented and just down crazy with a bad attitude. Yet he is all maleness....
Tayah, well also cute/beautiful (although there was no description to her beauty), intelligent, independent, loyal, a wonderful support system, also somewhat crazy d bipolar but is a down to eart, romantic lady believing in fairy tale. Pretty undesicive, doesn't know how to express herself romantically and all.
Navarro "Varro" a more subdued male, not quite alpha but more beta, a little thug with an education. A little hood with an education, but has morals and conscience.
Myon, dubbed as a hot head but is being looked upon as a determine person, goes after what they want, intelligent and beautiful with a whole part of loyalty and team player.
Now the extras are really extras with so much headaches such as Niko, Tarique, Ti'Veah, Chanel, and Roslyn.
What I am confused about is, how is Mission and Varro family? And what happened to the girls parents, family etc..? And how come we never hear of what kind of law does Varro practices?
So let me go the next one to see if some of these answers will pop I

Not a bad start...
This one moved along well and had just enough to keep you interested in what was going on. Not sure if I'm sold on the drug side of the guys, the author in my opinion doesn't do well with that side of the stories. I was hoping for more focus on the legit side and in a way, the author stuck to that. The ending was a let down though, too predictable and made reading the story a waste of time. Of course, the guys are going to come out fine, he's going to be upset about his mother but not enough for him not to beat the case. Hopefully there will be a plot twist if not, again, a wasted read.

SO AMAZING!

Every time I read a book by K C Mills I am impressed. I loved this story and each character. As I turned each page it got better. Mission is definitely a man I could use in my life and Navarro is my next choice. Being in the game comes with the understanding that you have to be a man and handle your business without turning into a snitch. If you cannot handle it than go get a 9 to 5 job and let the real men handle their business. It's a lot going on and I cannot wait for book 2.

Awesome!

This was a great story between two couples that had the most complicated, but hot as hell chemistry. I'm glad that the two men found refuge in women that was so much more than what they were use to dealing with. With Mission's and Navarro's upbringing the sisters really showed them what a ride or die chick will be to her man. Now I'm hoping in the next installment it is shown and vise versa. Love the flow and energy of the story and can't wait for the conclusion. Great Story! ReneeG 👍

Mission impossible

Well as you've all read, Mission is impossible. This man came into this story like a tornado, done swooped Tay up. The whole circumstances behind him and his cousin stealing these two sister's hearts is funny. Niko and Riq are some of the lamest drug dealers ever created. Very good story but I didn't like how Mission is so important yet he's touching too many transactions that his workers should be handling. Navvo is the attorney and should have the justice system in his pockets.

Ok

This book was a no for me. It was too repetitive, and drawn out. I must admit it started off really good and then it fizzled down. It really bored me at the end. It wasn’t a character in this book I liked, but Tayah and Myon were my least favorite. They were so childish. It was no growth in the characters. Mission was very honest and Navarro was all over the place. There were a lot of grammatical errors, and that caused confusion.

Great book

I love this book, didn’t expect nothing less from KC. Tayah is so dope she is the perfect match for Mission, i can’t believe that Niko and Rique are doing that to Mission i hope he didn’t do anything stupid when he got to his mother house. Varo met the right one with Myon she is nothing to play about he going to find out when she get to that hotel room she told him not to play with her. Can’t wait for part 2

Great book

This was such a great read. I enjoyed this book from beginning to end. Mission was definitely my book bae this go around he was rude as hell and didn't take no lip a BOSS!! Tayah was exactly what he needed she gave him a fight all the way and he loved it. Navarro and Myon worked out well together I think Navarro is a lawyer and also is in the streets with Mission they are partners in business and Myon is Tayah's sister. I can't wait to read part 2.

These characters are exhausting as heck. Why do these women want men that don't want what they want. Just be single, or find someone else to be happy with. This is very insta-love. I'm only 1/4 ways through the book, and I'm hoping these characters get some self respect soon. These women get more desperate the more I read. I'm going to force myself to finish this book. I hope that things get better soon.

Mission is on mission ❤️

Everything about Mission screams run but his ruggedness lures Tay in she has no choice but to fall & I see why he’s everything she needs if that make sense this is definitely a banger! can’t wait on part 2 to see what transpires after the chaos that’s brewing.

I did not see this coming

This was a great story Mission and tayah relationship was getting good. Then here comes this weak behind cop and rique.
Varro need to get on his job and figure out why this officer is hating. Myron was my girl saying what's in her mind. The characters are complete opposites but together they are explosive can't wait for part 2.

Page Turner!

I like this series for the drama. However, I did not like the back and forth stubborn female characters whom have hand problems. The whole slapping the men and what not was annoying. Now I can't wait to see how the guys pull out of the upcoming drama heading their way.

Great read

You never disappoint me! This was a really good read and I can't wait for that detective to get what he deserves. I don't want to spoil it for anyone but I will say when the right person comes into your life it makes you change for the better. On to the next book, I'm sure part two is just as good!

I was pleasantly surprised with this purchase - I wasn't sure if I would read on with all the profanity but I'm glad I persisted! It's a hood romance but from the Point of view of 4 people as they're two relationships happening at the same time which I found really interesting as they all had good storylines that kept you intrigued, I also liked how their lives intertwined

Boring

I was hoping to keep reading so that it would pick up but this book was super boring. I'm kind of disappointed. There was no originality how many books are you going to have with event planners or something of the sort didnt the last book have that SAME set up? Ugh.

No respect!!!!!

That dirty cop bastard, I can’t believe Tarique is going out like that. How will this affect Mission and Taya’s relationship, also how will he deal with the news about his mother. Navarro you messed up, I think Myon about to do some damage.....

Mission to be reckoned with

Tarique is wrong for what he's doing and he already knows it's not going to end well with him. Navarro just should of been more forward with Myon. Tay and Mission are a perfect match. I can't wait for part 2.
