When I began to read this book, I had a vague notion of what I expected. Mind blown! This book is delightful! Ms. Arnold uses an easy to read conversational style to explain, teach, provide exquisite how-to details, and include cautions regarding the use of crystals. She talks about hardness of different types of crystals, how to clear (or clean) your crystals, how to make crystal water, how to make and use a crystal grid, and how to use a crystal pendulum to respond to yes/no questions. Everything she provides seems very well thought-out. I was delighted with the education I hadn't expected. In addition to the items just mentioned, I learned how quartz crystals actually power watches (I knew they did; I didn't know how.) I learned about polarization of water molecules. There are links to outside resources to take you down new and unexpected paths, such as Dr. Emoto's research and experiments on differences in crystallization of water from different sources and under different circumstances. This book is well written, well constructed and organized, and a treasure of information delivered in a very comfortable to read manner. I look forward to the author's next book!

Quick and informative read!

Ms. Arnold has created a delightfully informative book about crystals. I can't wait to start working with my own beautiful stones. Even though I considered myself knowledgeable , I learned so much from this short and concise book.
