She’s going to get her man and nothing will stop in her way, not even him…

Four months ago Milly walked away from everything, giving no explanations, and no reassurances. Fed up with watching everyone around her achieve the life she always wanted, she worked from the inside out to put herself in the position to receive. Now she’s back and this time she’s not leaving without her own little slice of heaven.

Unfortunately for Milly, that happily ever after isn’t going to sit still and what for her to pluck it out of the sky. She just might have to get a little creative.

Chencia C. Higgins is just a girl from Texas who has made it her mission to create stories in which sassy, southern Black women are loved out loud. Her Carina Adores debut, D’Vaughn and Kris Plan a Wedding, was a New York Times best romance of 2022. When she isn't hunkered down in her writing cave, Chencia can be found with her nose in a book, saving recipes on Pinterest for things she’ll never make, and dreaming about travelling even further south for the winter.

Frannie was doing up some hating I'm glad Milly put a stop to that. It was so annoying and unnecessary. I'm glad Milly worked on herself. And can we talk about Derrell's dad? We love to see it!

Finally

Man, I thought I was going to have to strangle Millie. I'm so glad things worked out for Derrell and Millie. This was such a good series.

I really liked this last book. Im glad Milly got help for her issues because she had a lot of games with her. I was rooting for her and Derrell to work it out. Milly started to annoy me near the end of the book but I'm glad Derrell straightened her out. Great ending to these books.
