Oscars blame game?

Repent is the sixth book written by Rick Wood in the Sensitives series. I must admit u am torn by this series and odds are once I read the ones available on Kindle unlimited, I think there are currently 8, I will discontinue this series.

I give the author props for coming up with a unique series with an imaginative and different plot in every book I have read so far and this one is no different. He is also not afraid to sacrifice characters we like, like Derek or Martin and some we only got to know briefly. I guess such is the exorcism business.

But some of his characters are tough to swallow. For example Oscar, I was a huge fan and he went from there to bad to horrible. I don't fault the guy for wanting to safe the woman he loves. But he still doesn't seem to take responsibility for the fact, that his soul searching has caused all this mess and all that because a demon controlled him. Mind you both April and even Julian forgave him yet he still insisted he had to leave and find out what a sensitive is which basically caused all this because he is just too gullible. And then he blame Julian for everything, for not just forgiving everything when he is back.

Julian however has always been the same steady rough Eddy. What you see is what you get and the reason I like him. April is way too forgiving and why she is still with Oscar is beyond me. The new additions to the family I do like as well.

I am not crazy about the latest turn of events and where that leaves things. Two more books to go and then I will hang up my head since I see this deteriorating and I just don't thing there is much hope for Oscar.

Shocked! That is all I can say. I began reading this book as soon as I received my copy from the author and finished it in about 3 hours. I loved how the story picked up where book 5 left the reader. It was easy to slide right back into the world of the Sensitives and visualize the battles that were waged upon evil. The exorcisms that were performed were so believable that I could feel the level of excitement from all the members of the team. Too soon I reached the end of the book. The ending was a shock and I do not know how the team will go on. Once again Rick Wood proves he has done his research and tells a truly nightmarish tale.

Another excellent addition to the series.

I really enjoyed this read and along with the first has to be a favourite of mine. This has so much going on the battles the recruitment the life stories of how they became and then the fight itself. It was so exciting all the way through not a page went by where you wasn't engrossed and captivated. I'm off to find the next book in the series. Definitely recommend the whole series.

SPEECHLESS

Totally worth the wait!!!! This series is so addicting because of the emotion involved. It seems for every win the Sensitives have, they have a heart breaking set back. My only question is that with so many Sensitives in the same place, how was a demon able to go undetected???? The ending is very unexpected. Eagerly anticipating the next book.

Repent - Sensitives book 6 ....

Yet another great read from Rick wood! Continuing the story of the slowly but surely expanding group of new sensitives, learning their own powers and what they can do to help whoever needs them, even if it's more than they ever thought possible, they have to help at whatever cost!

A Sensitive loses their life and two more Sensitives are recruited to fight against the Demons who are invading living bodies at the Psychiatric Hospital. Both patients and staff alike are coming under this new curse which holds no distinction to the humans in the world. They are coming for us all and there are only so many Sensitives to fight against them, so beware your time has almost come!

This book feels more like a bridge. It was needed to pull some characters together and introduce new ones. It was necessary but not particularly scary. 2 more to go and the way this series has been going. Ready for it to conclude. We shall see....

This episode was incredible, demons and lunatics together in one story, it doesn't get much better than that. I love The Sensitives series!
