This cowboy doesn’t like to be tied down.

The Powerball is more within her grasp... than love is.

Hung over and starved, he’s desperate for food.

He never expected to be smitten by a sassy waitress the second he lays eyes on her. It’s the drawl...

Southern and sweet.

LA is a big city.

So why does he keep bumping into her?

It’s the third encounter since meeting her yesterday.

This time… he can’t let her go.

They say a bad boy never changes his ways…

They didn’t see her coming.

Neither did he.

Not for me

What I didn't like - Hunter is gross. The book starts with him getting out of bed with two women. I just read a book where he was with Allison sexually during most of the book, so reading him with other women already is gross, especially since he's not in a relationship. He's just being crazy slutty. And then he says some crude stuff about oral sex with someone he just met. Oral is very intimate, and he doesn't take sex seriously. That isn't something I like in a character. The book was too busy with unimportant things. I felt bad for Miranda because she ends up with a guy who has been with like a million women. It's really disgusting. The writing wasn't that good. It just wasn't good.

What I did like - I can't think of anything I liked.

Overall - "Romance" between a manwhore and some poor woman who ends up with the grossest man ever, wasn't written well, and just wasn't good at all.

Disclaimer - These are my opinions, and I can't stress how much I don't like this book. But, that's me, and it's not my taste at all. It could be someone else's favorite book. The things that bother me won't bother everyone. We're all different, and that's okay. If it sounds good to you, read it! You may love it.

Holy hotness

I absolutely loved Hunter. He is the ultimate powerball(😉) the fact that the story did not end after the (almost) I love you was a big bonus. Most of the time you are left wanting more and miss Scatlett gave us just that. This was not my first Scarlett Avery book, but with this little(ok not so little) number she bump up way up there on my favorite authors list. Sexy times, silly banter, loving friends, heartbreaking moments, this book had it all. Well done Scarlett you did your name proud

I Love Hunter Evans!

I really liked this book. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was the main character, Miranda, sometimes came across as immature. I guess she was meant to be endearing, but it irked me sometimes. I sometimes wondered what Hunter saw in her besides being gorgeous and sexy.

Story was very good

The story and characters were very good. The friend's and family of the main characters are great and supportive. There was a lot of intimacy and sometimes skipped over that to get to the story. It was very enjoyable.

Good Read But...

The storyline was good but it was rather long and dragged out. The women, Allison in the previous book and Miranda in this book are not the type to engage in this type of sexual activity. It's a little far fetched.

Romance overload and high drama
I loved this story of how chance meetings led to an unusual arrangement that turns to love. Great descriptions for settings, wardrobe, sumptuous food and sexy interactions. Ms. Avery puts the reader into the situations right along with her multi-layered characters. Miranda blossoms under Hunters tutorials and with a lot of help from her friends she goes straight from shy frump to smoking hot temptresses. Hunter is a sexy cowboy and lives live on his terms with no strings attached. Read every chance I got way into the night. Loved to catch up with his extended family too.

Sex and more sex

If you like sex and more sex with a little bit of action. These are the books for you. Miranda was Hunters waitress at a restaurant he went with his friends. It was instant attraction. As they interacted more and more it grew serious. Hunter did not want to accept he was in a relationship because he was an ingrained player. After a tragedy struck he finally acknowledged his feelings and was determined to live happily ever after. At times the books in the series were taking too long to read. The sex scenes unfortunately got boring after awhile. Other S.A. Books were better written than these.

Wow!!

I couldn't be put the book down. I laughed, cried, got angry, and felt so much. I was left wanting more. I think Riley needs a book even if it is a novella. The only thing missing from the story of Jake and Hunter is weddings and babies. Can't wait for the next book in this series.

Cowboy. Billionaire.

Certified Player: Levi led me to Cowboy’s Indulgence and then to this story. Hunter and Luke were a small
blip in Levi’s story, but wow did they get kicked up a notch in Indulgence. Luke and Hunter were quite a pair, but when Hunter got his own story, it was well worth it. I love the dynamic between him and Miranda. They play off each other well and the development of their relationship was quite a pleasant surprise. It was slow, but hot. Both Hunter and Miranda have their feelings grow for each other and have instances where they are unsure about it all. I love that this book has an HEA and no angst in the main characters relationship, but still had an “Oh my gosh” happen in the storyline. I enjoy the writing style of Scarlett Avery and look forward to reading more of her books.

Sexy, but too much influence way too long

I like this author a lot! After the first book in the series, I was anxious for this second installment. There's a lot of food and food establishment descriptions, but I found myself skipping over a bunch of that. I really was impatient for the ending. I also thought it was weird that a couple of guys that were into MFM relationships ended up with only one of them with the girl from that and the other got himself a "normal" relationship as well.

Decent read

I enjoyed the storyline immensely. However it dragged on because of all of the details that weren’t necessarily needed. Overall though, it was a good story.
