Loved the series the story line was great but there were two glaring errors to overlook. In the first book at the end Grace marries snd is expecting a child by Josh. Nowhere in the series does it go into what happened to that pregnancy. Arlon is spelled with an “o” through the series until he is featured in the third book. The introduction still spells arlon The book changes the spelling to Arlen. These glaring errors should have been corrected in proofreading . But like I said the stories were great

Arlen returns home after suffering a devastating wound in the civil war. He is bitter and withdrawn, but Katie is fascinated with him and they slowly become friends. Katie will not let Arlen give up and finds ways to help his regain his confidence and helps him feel useful again. This is a wonderful story about determination and commitment. Another great book by Indiana Wake you'll definitely want to read.

Great series................
I was glad that the author continued on with the characters who were the two sisters in this series of stories. The younger sister in this series was a woman who enjoyed being able to be alone, she liked to spend her spare time reading or tending her garden.

Sweet Romance about a young woman named Katie. Katie was different from most young woman, she enjoyed conversation, gardening, reading and learning about new things. Good Story, Sweet Romance
I absolutely loved this awkward pair of MCs and their journey to finding love. At times, the dialogue could be a little formal, or stiff. But other than that, the story was good. The plot was steady in pace, but it’s a slowly moving story. It worked well, in my opinion. If you enjoy sweet, clean historical romance, then you might give it a try.

a house full of love
I absolutely loved loved loved the story in this book. From sadness, loneliness, hardworking people that couldn’t see happiness just around another corner. I am so thankful I was not raised in the 1800’s. Everything about life was so so hard especially when you’ve had a serious injury. You will so enjoy this whole book. Can’t wait for you to read it.

The Arms of a Better Man Book 3 by Indiana Wake A Love to Last a Lifetime series. A wonderful story full of banter, laughing, some crying, and opening up, from putting up walls from their past. Coming to understand what true treasure is each other and family.

Great read!
As usual Ms Wake has delivered a wonderful story. I have enjoyed each story of this interesting family as they face the challenges of life in a new frontier. You will definitely want to add this one to your collection.

Very good books. However in the first book it mentioned Grace was pregnant with her and Josh’s baby but it never mentioned what happened with the pregnancy in either of the books.

And sad. Then Katie and Arlen became friends. Then Arlen had a miss understanding about Katie then they ckme together and marry. I give this book to all who love to read them.

I just finished this series and as usual the stories a beautiful. The love for each other and the love of God shows thru the hardships and challenges of their life. Great job, Indiana.

I loved all three books of a love to last a lifetime series! They made me laugh and were such sweetb
I just thoroughly enjoyed all 3 books. I love hearing about the difficult times getting to Oregon and the joy and love that gross from each of their stories.

Delightful!
Loved the story of Arlon and Katie slowly learning to be friends and then falling in love. Even though war wounds, physical and mental made life difficult for Arlon, he overcame his problems.

Masterful weaving together of complex characters and challenges
This story juggles complex situations and personalities to resolve several conflicts in believable, heartwarming ways. Very satisfying! I highly recommend this book and the series!

An endearing story.
I enjoyed reading Book 3 in the series. I enjoyed the characters and the plot and most of all the happily ever after. Definitely would recommend this book/series.

I love this book. Interesting story line and the main characters were very relatable. I was a lot like Katie when I was young.

Only a few books deserve 5 stars
I really enjoyed this series but this was the best of all of them. It has a unique storyline and that’s so refreshing!
