Embraced by strangers. The Furlorians want to earn their trust.

The Federation needs help and Taj volunteers. She takes the team to a distant planet. The fate of her people doesn’t depend on her success, but if she fails, the Furlorians’ hope goes with her.

Wearing that mantle, they hold nothing back as they go into the lion’s den, their cat eyes focused on a singular goal.

Join those fighting to save family, friends, and their way of life in the latest exciting Age of Expansion series, in the Kurtherian Gambit Universe. You don’t have to read any of the other KGU books to get into this series, but it would be way cool if you did. Read all about Bethany Anne in Death Becomes Her.

Love Taj and her crew

This is a really well written series. I love the way Taj and her crew overcome huge odds by just doing their best and always trying to save the good guys. They have come a long way since their planet was lost to them and I am looking forward to the next book to see where they end up.

Thrown in at the deep end!

Tam and crew are finally on their first mission for the Federation, and are they in deep or what! We’ve come to know the Furlorians as displaced beings, and now we see how they are adapting and growing in their new lives. Can’t wait to read book 4!

Up the cats!

Their mission is not what they expected, but the crew of the cats and Dent forge ahead despite every obstacle. Looking forward to more of Taj and company.

A Subtle War: An Alien Galactic Military Science Fiction Adventure - a review by Rosemary Kenny

When a threat to the Federation becomes overwhelming, a task force is needed urgently. Step forward feisty Furlorian catwoman Taj and her team of fearless felines. They must travel to a planet far away across the galaxy into a 'lion's den' for surveillance in defence of the planet that their people have found refuge on, making the galaxy a safer place for all, by making reparation to their hosts.
Best read in sequence with the previous two novels in the series, A Subtle War nevertheless is important in its own right, as the trio of 'all-star' writers, Tim Marquitz, Craig Martelle and Michael Anderle make an illustrious team without equal in the Galaxy.
Enemy of My Enemy is an exciting epic series in the making - don't miss it!

Great story

This is a series of writing about a species who lived a simple existence until invaded by a war like race and how they have had to grow quickly into a space faring race and learn to fight... for what is right not only for them but for all species.

Outstandingly addictive

Love this new book and I can't wait for the next one.
Firstly I'm a dog person, I don't hate cats as long as they have bells on their collars. That's so the victims of the little murders can hear them coming.
Love all the characters and I'm enjoying seeing them grow.😀

Fantastic series, always exciting and entertaining!!!!!

Congratulations to Tim Marquitz, Craig Martelle and Michael Anderle for this amazing series. It’s extremely hard to find such interesting and exciting authors who not only write intelligently but also provide top rated plots, characters and excitement in the stories. I’m really looking forward to the next book.

Subtle

Wow! Taj and her crew serve up a thrilling ride. With too little knowledge of what they are facing, they adapt, improvise, and overcome, working through a simple rescue, which became a much more complicated mission. Well done Tim.

Hep cats!!!

Wow that was so much more intense than I expected!
Suckered me into thinking this was a lighter story but whoah!
Heavy duty action and more violence than I expected.
Amazing characters and depth!

Teamwork

Most of the characters from the previous book have formed an off the books Federation team. The mission to find and bring in an asylum seeker turns deadly when zealots attack. I liked the ending.

Brilliant plot

Yes, Taj has stepped up as leader and is showing growth in her capabilities, especially that of doing things on the fly. Can’t wait to see what she and the team do next to make their way back home.
