Those are the words they used to describe Kingston Reynolds on the first day of my internship. Well, it wasn't so much of a description as it was a warning. Do not fraternize with the drivers if you want to keep your job.
It was a rule I had no problem following. I never saw King. He was a God of racing while I worked at the factory with a public relations team of incompetents. That was until I found myself the center of his fast, volatile, gorgeous attention.

Instalust... instalove... insta-everything!
Although this story was told from Isa's point of view, I felt absolutely no connection to her. This story was all about King and how incredibly wonderful and talented he was. There wasn't much in the way of character development, but I managed to get enough to decide that King was worthy of my attention and affection. He was intense yet awkward, lusty yet shy, and I enjoyed every appearance he made throughout the story. I loved getting the chance to see Adam again (he's from Tease) cuz I really liked that guy. I wasn't sure how to rate this story in the end, but luckily before writing this review, the author gifted her subscribers with King's POV and made me want to give this a favorable one. Otherwise I'd probably be lamenting over the heroine who offered nothing of substance.

La verdad que estas historias cortas las suelo leer, cuando termine de leer algo pesado, o cuando estoy por tener bloqueo lector. Pero a veces me juega en contra, dado que, las historias me gustan pero terminan super rápido. Así que nada, complicada siempre.
Las historias sobre carreras, pilotos, etc. Me gustan! pero debo decir que cada pagina que pasaba, me recordaba mucho a Driven, tenia demasiadas similitudes y no lo pude disfrutar.
Para pasar el tiempo claramente.

A marvelous 4.5 starts!! My very first Alexis Anne book and now I'm wondering what I've been waiting for. It was a real page turner!! Gripping, edgy and very exciting.

It’s simple and short, yet it packs a punch. In a short amount of storytelling time, the author was able to show connection between King and Isa. It is very telling when an author has a gift, he/she is not hindered by the number of pages in order to show relationship, believable attraction, and the characters’ personality. There is steam build-up that culminates in steamy sex but it goes to show that a good author does not need to end each kissing episode with sex to show strong attraction. The plot was simple yet the way it was written was engrossing. It is not a full HEA, which is realistic because it is a short story, but its ending gives you satisfaction. [I received an advanced copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.]

and well, he set his sights on her, and bla, bla, bla...he's wants her, and all, inspite the surroundings, inspite of everything...cause in fact he believes in the "feeling" that consumes him, and that feeling says "she's the one".

King & Isabel have an instant connection and King will definitely make you swoon. Great story with great characters that I really enjoyed.

No le pongo menos porque al menos King si me gustó, que ternura de hombre🥺.
Bueno... Isabel, Dios que mujer tan frustrante, estresante, agobiante, todo junto🙄.
No la soportaba.
Que fastidiooo jajaja.
Cuando la mejor amiga de su mamá le quiere ayudar con un trabajo y le dice que le da todo, donde vivir, esta chica solo por querer llevar la contraria dice que no, después que si pero por insistencia de su mamá y la mejor amiga.
Todo el bendito libro fue narrado por ella y de verdad que estuve a punto de dejarlo, pero dije bueno 150 páginas, que mas da.
Odia el trabajo, odia que la obliguen a vestirse como dicen allí, odia que la manden.
Cuando tiene la oportunidad de ejercer por así decirlo su vocación en lo que ella está estudiando, se niega, tiene tan poco autoestima🤦🏻♀️.
Chica que porfin puedes hacer algo de lo que te gusta y no odiarlo🙄🙄.
Luego llega nuestro hermoso chico King, el lleva ya mucho tiempo escuchando de ella por lo que se enamora muy fácil, pero volvemos aquí con este chica que se niega a todo.
(Y cabe aclarar que ella lleva observándolo desde lejos desde que trabaja allí).
King le demuestra que está celoso, diciéndole que no le gusta verla bailar con alguien más, bla bla bla..., que quiere estar con ella, pero a esta chica no le gusta que le digan que es de alguien🙄.
No puedo con esta persona.
Espere unas 100 páginas(todo el libro lit) para el beso y ella ni reacciona si quiera.
La escena de sexo narrada horrible.
Aparte la autora dejó baches en la historia, quedó en nada lo de la familia de King, quedó en nada lo del accidente de Isabel...
No me gustó NADA pero NADA este libro, pudo tener más potencial, a ver, que había historia, piloto fórmula 1, con esta chica que bueno trabaja para el...

Kingston "King" Reynolds, on the racing circuit he’s known as the King of Wands because he’s incredibly focused on winning...unless you cross him. Then he’s as ruthless and cunning as a real life villain. We don't know to much about King, other than he is a racer. King like what he likes. He goes after what he wants.
However, the more time Isabel spends with him the more I discover he’s earned his name well. Isabel is just an intern with the marketing company, and she's not supposed to date the co-workers. What about dating the boss? Isabel is more of a book work, she's into academics, and wants to earn her degree's before she does more on the work front. However, after scoring big with a major marketing aspect for King, she wants to make sure that he is taken care of.
When King goes after Isabel, she's taken back. She's not sure why he would be interested her. She's more comfortable in her academic world. But, when he holds her hand and makes her hold onto his arms at a event, she see's how he looks at her. She see's that he's into her. He gets jealous of his married friend dancing with her, because she isn't in his arms.

Oh Wow this is another fantastic book attached to this series of stories based on the Tarot cards.
Alexis Anne has excelled herself with her contribution, this is a short read, but never once lacking in any way. There are 12 chapters jam packed with insta Love, Romance, steam and great characters, I Loved both Isa and King, and was completely taken in by their developing relationship and warmed to both of them instantly.
Starting from the bottom as an intern Isa has admired the very handsome out of reach Kingston Reynolds, But one day changed all that colliding with the man in question on 3 separate occasions , she suddenly finds herself promoted into helping him with his branding as a F1 driver. They have a connection that feels more than just a physical attraction, So how will she be able to work closely with this gorgeous god of a man without giving in to his temption.
This is a must read, I thoroughly enjoyed every single moment I spent inside King and Isa's world and I cannot wait to read more. Brilliant.

I wasn’t sure what to expect with a story based off of a tarot card, but this was such a great book! Meeting Isabel (Isa) Yates and King Reynolds and the rest of the Braun-Evans staff and team was interesting with everyone’s different personalities and how the culture of the company was and the expectations of the employees living up to that and of course seeing our friends Adam and Elizabeth again was a treat. I really enjoyed reading about the ins and outs of F1 and I loved how the author, Alexis Anne, incorporated the tarot card into the story. I thought the ending was very fitting for these two and I hope we get to see more of these characters down the road somewhere, maybe in another book. I really want more of their story. Great book!

Wow! Where to even start with this one! They say good things come in small packages, and I’d say that it definitely applies to the King of Wands. With this quick, hot read it’s tough to write a spoiler free review, but lets see what I can do.
Normally I love having the guys point of view in the story, but even with this all being from Isabel’s perspective, I still felt like I got a real feel for Kingston “King”. Fighting between her heart and her head, Isabel is a character you can’t help but feel like is always in your corner. And King... oh boy! The race to the end will have you at a loss of breath, and begging for more. *hint hint - I need more of Isabel and King!*
Alexis is new to me as reader, but after this, I can’t wait to see what else I can get my hands on! Fabulous addition to the Cards of Love series!

It's love at first sight for both King and Isabel and their chemistry is sizzling hot but their work situation makes them very carefully consider how their relationship could affect every other area of their life. I loved reading more on Adam and Elizabeth again. This is a great quick read. 💋

Alexis Anne has a Hit with King of Wands! This fast paced story brings you on a world wind ride for Isabel! Drug from her college basement studies into the Big Time Racing scene, she has to navigate real life like never before! Then there's King solid muscle, good looking, off limits and looking at her! Their's is a fast track romance that seems to be heading everywhere! Hope Alexis will continue this story later!

This was a quick hot short read that was my first by Alexis Anne and I'm surprised as to why I haven't read her book's before I'll definitely be correcting that. For this to be a fast read it sure had that instant connection between King and Isabel it's one that she's hoping she doesn't get burned as she gets to know the King of Wand's and how he got his nickname in the racing world. This is a book that's work checking into.

When I started reading I couldn't put it down. Alexis Anne is magnifysent and amazing writer.I cannot wait to read more of there books.Keep up the great work.You should definitely read this book.Can't wait for the next book.

Damn I have fallen in love. With Kingston Reynolds. I was so involved in this story that I didnt even realize how long I was reading until I got to the end. If I could I would give it 10 stars.

Isabel was just an intern for the Braun-Evens Racing Team when she first met King, the second driver. She was shy around the good looking young driver, but King had noticed her from her first day. King was a newcomer to the racing scene and one of the youngest at only twenty-one. Isabel had graduated head of her class and was currently completing her masters. Her ideas to improve King's branding would not only help him but help the team as a whole. She never expected that her thoughts would mean spending more time with King, but despite her objections, their relationship flourished until she was seen as his girlfriend by the racing public. It was early in their relationship, and while King was focused on his racing career, Isabel wanted to complete her masters. I enjoyed reading this story and learning more about the background of team racing. This book is about the beginning of their romance, and I look forward to the next book in the series and how these two lovers relationship develops.

King was a fantastic, fastpaced, slow burn love story. King, a straight forward, constantly frowning, super hot racecar driver wasn't born into the world of racing. Because of this, he has to work harder than most to make a name for himself. Enter Isabel. After being wooed and coerced by her mom and her mom's best friend, Isabel finds herself in England temporarily working as an intern for a well-known racing company. After her humiliating first meeting with King, she is suddenly thrown into the responsibility of creating and promoting King's brand. The more time they spend together, the more feelings grow and the more intense their desire for each other burns. Great story with a very "climatic" ending!

2.5 King and Isabel Stars
Hot racing car driver falls hard for the pretty intern... I struggled to connect with either character because they just didn't grab my curiosity, interest or heart. This is more likely to be me than the book - I'm just getting over a HUGE book hangover - and there are lots of lovely reviews out there for King and Isa. Also, this is tied into the Tease series which I have not read so I was a bit out of sync with the secondary characters.
HEA? N/A - King and Isa have a full length novel called Need. King is a quick introduction into their meeting and finishes at 77% on my Kindle.

She knows that they should keep their relationship strictly business to protect both their jobs but will they be able to?
I loved these two together. They both have pasts that I would like to learn a lot more about so I hope that we get to see these characters again. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

I really enjoyed reading this book but I did feel it could of been so much more.

Ok.....so I really enjoyed this story - the characters kept my interest, loved the storyline and everything about it was great - up until the end. I just thought it ended a bit too abruptly, as King and Isabel finally get together, and then it was over. Hoping to get more of them in a later story as I just know there is more to these two characters.
Will definitely read more from this author though, as i know it can be hit or miss with novella type stories. And since other characters already have their own stories, I'm interested to read more about them too!

Super cute and sweet novel. Isabel and King fell insta-love when they first set eyes on each other (though they already may have been attracted from stories earlier). Their interactions between them are sweet, romantic and almost shy and vulnerable. Their attraction to each other combusted into a sexy hot steamy scene. The story was well written and keep me reading from start to finish as it really drew me in.

Loved the book. It's my 3rd book by this author and I have to say that I am digging Anne's writing style. She does such a good job mixing really strong chemistry with genuine, relatable people. I'm just sad that this is a shorter read. I would have loved to read move about Isa and King as they build on their relationship. Though young, they both just have such an old soul and such intense chemistry. Can't wait to read more from her.

King is the story of Isabel/Isa, an intern working on a public relations team for a racing organization, and Kingston Reynolds/King, a race car driver who goes after what he wants even if it's against the rules. Isa is warned against fraternizing with the drivers, but King is intensely attracted to her. This quick read has well developed characters and an intriguing plot with sweetness and steamy chemistry.

This novella is a wonderful written, fast-paced and fun story that takes the reader on a ride that you need to sit down and buckle up for. As Isa wars between her head and her heart King just drives straight for the finish line expecting to win it all, including her.

Tender and simple

It is a well-written, tender and simple romance, without twists, except that of risking dating in a company where the rules of fraternization are very strict and do not allow it, or fear of the road .
Isabel is a marketing intern and she finds herself developing the image of the young driver who attracts her, King, a racing driver, knowing that the rules of the company prevent any rapprochement.
