4/5 - While I don’t know when I’ll practice SST, I thought this had some good nuggets of wisdom. Additionally, I loved the examples and techniques discussed. I’ll refer back to certain pages I tabbed.
This is an excellent blueprint on how to provide very helpful therapy in just one session. We are currently undergoing a huge mental health crisis in this country and almost every provider I know has a long waiting list. Thousands of people are not getting the help they so desperately need. Single-Session Therapy could go a long way to mitigating this problem and Windy Dryden shows us how to do it.
