The Bloodlines event running through the DC annuals in 1992 were kind of stupid. These aliens drank people like they were juice boxes, killing most of them while giving a select few powers. Each issue created a new hero or villain. Only one or two were decent enough to make other appearances. (The biggest being Garth Ennis's Hitman character who is awesome!) This one covers a teenager in knives that he can expel from his body. The character design sucks. So does this comic.
