When she’s not sipping coffee from her “World’s Okayest Author” mug or herding her four cats away from her keyboard, Gypsy writes character-driven, emotional chaos with a side of, “What did I just read?” Hardcore smut fan? Same, sis, same.
I don't know what this story has to do with the bell witch, it remains unclear to me. Now let me say, I don't care either. It's good, different than what is typical of this genre. It's listed as paranormal, but I thought that was ghosts and stuff. It's also fantasy, that seems more accurate. It plays to common romance tropes really well, less contrived more original. Once again the author, flips the script at the end on me and leaves me anxiously awaiting the next book. I guess that's life, I like series, you can become more invested in the characters you're reading about that way. Some hints weren't so subtle, but the events of the plot made me forget them enough to be surprised by certain things at the end. I got some answers, but questions still remain, so I will read the next book. Good storytelling.
