Rate this book
From the New York Times bestselling author who “knows how to draw you in and keep you hooked” (Angela Graham, New York Times bestselling author) comes a compelling tale of family loyalty and budding romance starring the badass Clover Black as she is forced to choose between following her heart or keeping her family safe.

Growing up as the Princess of the Wind Dragons Motorcycle Club, Clover Black knows she’s had a thoroughly unique upbringing. As the daughter of the former President of the club, she’s expected to live a certain kind of life but she does the unthinkable…she goes to the police academy and becomes a cop. Without her family knowing.

After being assigned a new partner, the handsome Felix Banks, a friendship blossoms, but as Felix teaches her how to be a better cop, she finds herself falling for him, all while, struggling to keep her two lives separate. Tensions rise when the truth comes out and it becomes clear that Clover is being used for her motorcycle club ties.

As things heat up within the MC and at Clover’s job, she faces a difficult choice—her love for Felix and the law, or her family and the Wind Dragons.

A steamy and unputdownable romance, Fallen Princess is perfect “for fans of Kristin Ashley, Julie Ann Walker, and Joanna Wylde, and those who are heartbroken that television’s Sons of Anarchy has ended” (Booklist).

I have read an enjoyed several books written by Chantal Fernandez in the past and I have got to admit that I was very curious about this spin-off. I had already read a little bit about Clover in Ace of Hearts, which made me even more curious about her story. Also...a MC Princess, who is also a cop...I just had to read about that.

Now as much as I enjoyed the story...and I did...there was just one thing, or I should say, one person, that bothered me throughout most of the book... Clover. For some reason, I did not feel any connection with her.  I felt she was acting a bit entitled. She wanted her cake and eat it too. She forced her friends to keep secrets from the club and she came off as very judgemental. She also acted as if she herself was the best thing since sliced bread, especially when it came to her job, while she was just a rookie. I also didn't get how she thought that the police force would not know or care about her biker family....dense much !!

Since Clover's mother also works for the FBI (informing or something) I didn't get why Clover being a cop would be such a bad thing. I don't get why and how she kept all of it a secret.

Now I did really like Felix. He's her new partner and he really knows what he is doing, on and off the job 9f01372377900d9203bc4efe48eb1659 His father was killed by bikers and so he doesn't carry around a lot of love when it comes to MC's. That said, he does carry a lot of love for Clover and so he was willing to work through everything to be with her...

I enjoyed the story and the suspense, but I have got to be honest and say that it was Felix and all the secondary characters that really made the book for me. I didn't hate Clover but she definitely wasn't my kind of heroine. She got better towards the end though ;)

Now I do have high hopes for Cara, she might be more of my liking. I also really liked Rhett so I am very curious to see what's gonna happen with those two.

I have been ridiculously excited for this book for what seems like forever. The Wind Dragon's princess deserved one kick ass story and I am happy to report that she definitely got it. Clover Black is MC family through and through, there's no doubt about it, but in her own story we also see that she's also more than that. Taking on the world as just Clover and not the Princess of the MC she has a lot to figure out and discover about the world outside of her family. Which also leads her into the arms of one sexy as Officer Felix Banks.

Clover had a really great story to tell, it was more than just a romance, it was also getting to see her find herself and who she truly is. Even when it led her back to the family she wanted to separate from. I really loved that we got to see her struggle with who she is and that the romance part of the story came in and helped her with that discovery. She and Felix might not have seemed like a good fit at first, with her being part of an MC and him a devoted officer, but they went on to prove that stereotype wrong.

Overall, I'm already huge fan of this series but even if I wasn't already I would have been after reading this book. It was just a brilliant story and I loved the pace of it, the sweetness of it, and also the intrigue of waiting to see what exactly Sin was going to do when he found out about Clover. Definitely a must read!

This review was originally posted on Addicted To RomanceI received this book for free from Gallery Books in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

It feels like forever since I have actually picked up a Chantal Fernando novel and boy once I picked up Fallen Princess I realized how much I love the quick and fast pacing she does and how endearing of writing she does in implementing her characters and making me fall in love with them. I haven't read all the books in this series, but I have done a couple of them and I really loved seeing the Wind Dragons again and what close family ties they have.

In Fallen Princess Clover Black, is the niece of the President of the Wind Dragons MC and is beloved by everyone in the club. Her father is full on biker and her mother is devoted to the MC but is a FBI informant as well. She realized early on in her life, when a police woman saved her brother, that women can be strong and capable and still have hearts of gold. She knew that she wanted to be a cop, but she knew that there would be hell to pay if her family ever found out. Even though the Wind Dragons are pretty legitimate, there is still conflict between them and the local authorities. But her dream is to make a difference in the world and she has trained and honed her body all of her life, to fulfill her dream. The police force however isn't super open to her. She is one of the few women on the force and her current partner only uses her for donut runs but then she is partnered with a new partner, one with four years of experience and on his way to becoming detective soon. Felix Banks has always wanted to be a cop, his father died being a cop and doing the right thing and he wants to be one. But his father was killed by a member of a MC, and doesn't exactly have fond feelings for MC. But soon sparks fly between Clover and Felix, but Clover is keeping a secret from Felix, one that could destroy the love they have for each other? Will Felix be able to accept Clover and her MC connections or will they love crumble when the truth is revealed?

This was such a powerfully portrayed romance and I had a blast with the whole MC and Cop mix up that we have going on here. We see how torn Clover is with choosing between her career and her family and trying to see where Felix fits into everything. I loved the prologue that really makes you see what has motivated Clover into wanting to be a police officer and I love seeing how she fulfills her dream even if its just saving a kitten so far, she never gives up that she will be able to make a difference. But other factors come into play and Clover will soon realize that she might have to give up her dream and find something different to make a difference because the police force she so admires are the ones who are keeping something from her. Then we have our lovely hero, Felix. I really loved him so much, he is so full of honor and loyalty and very true to himself. He is so open with Clover and accepts her as she is and loves her unconditionally. Even when the truth is revealed, I really appreciated how he handles the situation.

Now seriously, one of my favorite parts was the Wind Dragons reaction to learning the truth about Clover. Its HILARIOUS in many ways. Both to learning that their beloved biker princess is a cop and also dating a cop very seriously. Hell is about to hit the fan hehe but family is everything to this MC and even when they are very baffled on why she would want to be a cop, they support her even if that means accepting Felix into their circle which probably is very difficult for many of them. But we see such close family bonds between them all and I you just fall in love with how close knit this clan is and the ways they go about supporting one another. We see how Clover and Felix find their way in their relationship, in finding what Clover and Felix need in their careers and finding the balance to have what they want and stay together. Then we get secrets in the end revealed about the truth behind Felix's fathers death and I really loved seeing this turn of events and really added the cherry on top to this marvelous story!

Chantal Fernando is the queen on MC, The Wind Dragons MC Series will always be the reason I fell in love with MC books.

Fallen Princess is the new era of the Wind Dragons MC and is the story of Dex and Faye’s daughter Clover Black. She is the perfect mix of Dex and Faye and is feisty and full of Sass. I thoroughly enjoyed Clover all grown up, she’s loyal to her family and independent to a fault. When she has a tough start joining the force she receives a new partner, problem is he’s the gorgeous guy she’s been stalking and may just keep her on her toes.

The flirty banter between Felix and Clover is off the scale entertaining and sexy. Felix learns very quickly who Clover Black really is, now he just needs to gain the approval of the MC. Clover realises that his loyalty runs deep.

Thoroughly enjoyed this book, recommended read.

Had I realized that there was a whole other detached MC series between this book and the previous one in the series I feel like I would have liked it a lot better. Not a bad read but it wasn’t my favorite in the series and it wasn’t a true WDMC book as it’s not actually about an MC member in any way. Though we do see a lot of them in the background.

Fallen Princess was the seventh book in the Wind Dragons MC series, which was the first of the legacy children.

Clover Black was the first born of Dex and Faye Black (book one, Dragon’s Lair). She was the mini-me of her mother - strong, independent, feisty, and beautiful. Unknown to her parents and her MC family, she joined the Police Academy and became a cop. She knew her family wouldn’t approve but it was her life long dream so she kept her identity secret from her work and her work secret from her family.

Felix Banks was an up and coming cop that was well respected, hard working, honest, destined for a long career and born as a cop legacy.

Felix was assigned to the new cop that was enthusiastic but trouble with a capital T. They were also attracted to each other but fought it as long as they could.

I liked both characters as well as the premise of the storyline but I was craving more. It was told from Clover’s POV but I wanted Felix’s POV as well. Additionally, the MC played an important role (which I loved) but I desired additional insight direct from them, such as Dex’s point of view sporadically. There were a few details that were left out. Lastly, no spoilers so no elaboration, but I felt in reality there would have been more emotion and conflict with parts of the storyline. It seemed a little to agreeable and easy for what I would expect of the Wind Dragons.

Although it wasn’t my favorite Wind Dragon’s book, it was still enjoyable and entertaining. It also set the stage for more legacy Wind Dragon books and I assume we’ll start with Rhett and Cara, Clover’s best friends.

REVIEW: 3.25 stars-- FALLEN PRINCESS is the seventh instalment in Chantal Fernando’s contemporary, adult WIND DRAGON MC romance series. This is police officers Clover Black, and Felix Banks’ story line. FALLEN PRINCESS can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous instalments is revealed where necessary, FALLEN PRINCESS focuses on the next generation of the motorcycle families. Clover is the daughter of Dex ‘Sin’ Black, vice president of the Wind Dragons MC, and his wife, attorney Faye Black.

NOTE: Several characters from both the Wind Dragons MC and the Cursed Ravens MC cross over for cohesion and history.

Told from first person perspective (Clover Black) FALLEN PRINCESS follows police rookie Clover Black as she struggles to keep secret her family history from the people she works with, and battles between head and heart as it pertains to her job as a cop, and the people she loves. Clover Black, for all intents and purposes, is a little naïve to believe her family connection to the Wind Dragon MC does not go unnoticed by the local PD but a difficult partnership with someone on the force means gaining a reputation, and a new partner on the job. Enter police officer Felix Banks, and the man with whom Clover will fall in love. What ensues is the forbidden but building relationship between Clover and Felix, and the potential fall-out as Clover’s connections to both the Wind Dragons and the Curse Ravens MC will be used against our story line heroine.

The relationship between Clover and Felix is quick to develop. There is an immediate connection but Clover keeps secret her family history, and her connection to the local MC. When a drug sting brings our heroine face to face with the people she loves, all bets are off, including her need to reveal the truth to the man with whom she is falling in love. The $ex scenes are passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters many of whom were previously introduced in both the Wind Dragons and Cursed Ravens MC series.

FALLEN PRINCESS is a quick read but in saying that the entire story line felt rushed; the build up was cursory; and the conflict resolutions were hurried and abrupt. Overall, I feel like the small details were missing, details that would have grabbed my attention and pulled me into the story –I did not feel connected. The MC lifestyle is virtually non-existent, almost ‘vanilla’ in comparison to other series; the action and chaos mostly absent. The premise is fast paced and intriguing; the romance is flirty and warm; the characters are energetic. I am a big fan of Chantal Fernando’s MC series but for me, Fallen Princess didn’t hit the mark.

Fallen Princess is the seventh book in the Wind Dragons MC Series by Chantal Fernando. This is Clover Black’s story. Fallen Princess can ‘technically’ be read as a standalone. But to get a more insightful view of this novel and Clover’s background, I highly recommend you dive into Dragon’s Lair by Chantal Fernando! Trust me, these books are so good, it won’t be a hardship.

The further I read into this series, the more i was curious if we would get Clover’s story. Clover is the Princess of the Wind Dragons MC. Throughout the series I always loved getting the Clover moments. She was so stubborn but also sweet at the same time. I really loved this kid. So to say I was excited to find out Clover was, in fact, getting her own story would be a huge understatement. I was thrilled. I actually may have jumped up and down and screamed…. I’m only human.

About Fallen Princess:

Fallen Princess is told in dual point of views. (Clover Black & Felix Banks)

Being the daughter of a retired MC president, Clover grew up seeing the world through different eyes. She saw the cops as dirty and the MC as good. Clover’s path has always been set for her, marry into the MC and have MC babies. But when she has an encounter with a woman police officer and realizes not all cops are dirty, her life’s plan is completely derailed and new plans are carved in stone. She wants to help the world and make a difference.

Now Clover is living a double life. Life one, she’s an mc princess. Life two, she’s a rookie police officer. Clover is soon to realize eventually all secrets get exposed. When she’s assigned a new partner, she feels an instant connection to her sexy as sin partner, Felix Banks, drawing up a whole new life of secrets.

But Felix has a few secrets of his own. Secrets that could either Make or Break a relationship as confusing as theirs.

My Thoughts:

When I first read the blurb for Fallen Princess, I honestly couldn’t believe what I was reading. Our little Clover….. Now a police officer…. WTF was Fernando thinking! But as I started to read this one I knew this path was always intended to be the course for Clover. This girl is seriously driven and laughs in the face of fear. She’s always been a fighter, now she’s fighting for the people who can’t fight for themselves.

I knew there would be some drama once Clover and Felix’s chemistry started to grow. Sin’s reaction to the relationship was freaking hilarious. It made me miss these boys and their protective possessive ways.
Felix and Clover’s relationship was definitely one that completely surprised me. I was surprised by how much I loved these two together. I loved the endless banter and the competitive streak between the two. I also loved the lovey dovey moments that brought a huge smile to myself. But the main thing I loved was Felix meeting Clover’s family. And that included all of the Wind Dragons and their wives! This was the exact moment I was waiting for!

Overall, I loved everything about Clover and Felix’s relationship. I loved the cute moments, the angst filled moments, the inner turmoil that came from Clover and living her double life, the secrets, the relationship, but most importantly I loved getting a glimpse of the boys I loved prior to Fallen Princess! If you love MC romances, but you don’t love the violence and gore that typically comes along with these titles, I highly recommend you pick up the Wind Dragons Motorcycle Club series! These are a little bit on the tamer side of the mc spectrum and I think you’ll enjoy them! But warning, this series is highly addicting and very entertaining! You won’t be able to put them down!

Clover is the daughter of the characters from the fist book in the series. She was brought up surrounded by the MC and was viewed upon as the "princess" since her father was the president of the club for a long time. However, Clover is all grown up now and she's decided to take a different path in life. Instead of becoming an account, like she tells her family, she joins the police academy and starts working as a cop. She tries to keep her private life with the MC a secret from her employers, and her career fro mher family. Obviously, things don't go as planned.

I really liked this story. I liked that over the course of the series (the printed books, at least) we've seen Clover as a child. She's grown up throughout the books, but this was the first time I got to see her as an adult. While she does make some questionable choices and acts as if she's the best thing on the force, it's kind of understandable given her upbringing. She was a treasured and spoiled as a kid by the whole MC, not just her parents. So, of course she's going to have a certain mentality like her crap don't stink. She's always been told she is good at whatever she sets her mind at, and she feels like she deserves more in life. I also really liked that her character didn't take anything laying down. She fought for what she wanted, and she never gave up or backed down.

Another huge part of this story is Felix, her new partner and academy's "golden child." Felix's father was a cop and so Felix is sort of following in his father's footsteps. He prides himself on being the best that he can. So, when he's paired with the loud-mouthed rookie as his new partner, he's less than thrilled. The last thing he wants to do is babysit and train someone. However, he soon learns that there's a lot more to Clover than the force is giving her credit for. He takes the time to train her, listen to her, and really gets to know her. While he still had a strong male presence, he wasn't some hot-headed alpha male you see all too often. He wasn't afraid to let Clover take the reigns and I really liked that.

Obviously these two strike up a relationship and that causes a lot of issues across the board. Between Clover's family not knowing what her job really is, let alone that she's dating a cop, the force would probably have a lot to say about the two of the dating. Not only is that looming over their heads the entire time, they are on this case to take down a drug dealer who's handing out free drugs to people in order to get them hooked. Oh yeah, and also the force knows who Clover really is and might possibly be trying to manipulate her into being an informant on other MC's. So yeah... there's a lot that goes on in this story.

I'm so glad we got Fallen Princess. We've seen Clover slowly grow from the very first book and I'm so happy that she got her own story. Not to mention I am thrilled that she forged her own path in life. She didn't become some biker chick. She didn't run off to live a different life and separate herself from her family. She was able to work through the problems, find love, keep her family, and find happiness. I honestly couldn't be happier with this story.

I spent the majority of this book rolling my eyes. We’re constantly being told (by Clover herself no less) how smart and amazing she is yet it never occurs to her that the academy would do a background check and know she’s related to a MC. At the beginning of the book she is so whiny and immature, constantly complaining and disregarding what her partner tells her, which being a rookie, everyone outranks her and (at least in America) all rookies have training officers which are there to, gasp, train you. But she has a total disregard for how policing works.

She gets paired up with a new partner, Felix, who she all of the sudden decides to listen to because he’s what, hot? Her partner (who’s technically her superior) makes the first move even though he’s on the fast track and dating your partner is most definitely not the way to get there. There was no tension, no chemistry between the two. I don’t even know why they liked each other besides the fact that he’s hot. I wanted more of that forbidden romance, trying hard to stay away from each other and follow the rules. But they jump right in to a relationship without really even knowing each other.

Then there’s this “twist” near the end and even though it was suppose to be suspenseful, I laughed out loud. Everything about this plot was ludicrous and not what I expected from a MC romance.

I received an advanced copy through Netgalley in return for an honest review.

2014 is the year I first picked up one of Chantal's stories and it just so happened to be the book that lead us to this point now. Dragons lair is where this all began and for me, is still one of my all time favourites. 5 years on and that sweet fiesty little MC princess whom changed so many lives with her presence is now a big girl all grown up and on the right side of the tracks. Though I'm sure her family wouldn't agree.

MC princess turns cop?. Yup you read that right. She's a freaking COP!!.

Clover was everything I knew she had the potential to be. She always had a different path in life. Her story much like that of her parents took a turn no one could have anticipated. Not only did she grow up and decide she was going to be a cop.. something that her family has spent their lives avoiding. She did it all by herself with only one person from her family knowing.

Banks is exactly what Clover needed. He much like her is out to prove himself and rise up to the legacy his father created. What you see is what you get with him. There is no airs and graces nor is there any bullshit denial. I like that he took his time trusting but once he did, he trusted completely. It's a rare and endearing quality.

I feel like both Clover and Banks are very well rounded character. With so many layers I felt like every chapter revealed something new about the both of them. Kind of like the gift that keeps giving. They matched perfectly and all things considered became a solid couple very early on. Both dominant, super stubborn and quick witted. It worked even when you'd think is shouldn't. Also it takes hella balls to take on what he did because in all fairness he basically married into the MC when he got with her.

I loved that element of suspense. It hummed beneath the surface like a whisper and I was just waiting for the ball to drop and the secrets to start rolling out. I really enjoyed that Clover got time with her man without the MC first!. I feel like I really got a good feel for them. It was more believable having that build up, exploring different sides to their personalities and really seeing that foundation building towards something special. The connection was fire from the start!. That disgruntled partnership at the beginning set everything off. The chemistry was on point!. I just loved them hard.

The story is seamless in its build up with just enough angst/action and suspense to keep things interesting. It also has that sweet forbidden element that gets you hooked from the first page. The sweet, sassy and funny. The betrayal, lies and secrets. Everything's just flowed perfectly. Expect the unexpected. Understand that her story is hers and not her parents. But live for those family get togethers and hilariously dysfunctional shenanigans. There's a few of them.

Also sneak peaks into the future and getting see where everyone is now!. Fuck yes. Chantal got this so spot on. She managed to keep the light on the hero and heroine without neglecting the legacy in which they came from. The time line felt just perfect and it also made me love the Wind Dragons all over again. The loyal, the friendships and the love. It's there as clear as day.

I'm so fucking glad this story is here and I cannot wait for what's to come in the future.

4.5 Stars for the beginning of the next generation of Wind Dragons.

Clover black is all grown up and takes a very different path in life, but her loyalty to her family and the WDMC never waivers. Now that she’s older, she shows her true strength and proves to everyone that she truly is the daughter of Dex and Faye Black. She’s a biker princess with ambition and independence and is just as badass as her mother.

Felix doesn’t quite know what he’s in for, but he quickly proves that he can handle being with Clover Black and that she’s worth any and all hurdles they may face. He’s tough enough to handle his own amidst her family’s presence and shows them all just how strong and deep his love and loyalty to Clover runs in his blood.

In my binge read of the WDMC series, I got to see Clover’s life flag before my eyes. Within five days, I saw her born and face off her own dangers with determination, dignity and strength. It was an incredible experience to see all the stages of her life and then watch her find her soulmate. A love just as strong as the love her parents and all the Wind Dragon men found.

Well our Princess of the Wind Dragons MC is all grown up. Clover's story is one of a struggle between making your own choices in life to be happy or making your family proud. As paths cross and secrets are revealed, Clover not only risks losing her family but the man she has fallen in love with. Fallen Princess is one of growing up, falling in love and learning that sometimes you should trust the people you love and care about the most with your secrets and wishes. This book is captivating and at times has you reminiscing of times gone by with the original Wind Dragons MC members. This MC will always guarantee us a story packed with action, grit and enough passion to warm you on a cold winters night. The next generation in the Wind Dragons bring us a story that is witty, engaging, intriguing and also a reminder of why we loved these characters. Clover and Felix will have you falling in love as these two show us just how a princess of a biker club and a cop can cross paths and ride the wind of the dragons forever.

I really enjoyed Clover's story it was really great seeing all my favourite MC guys. Clover has made a very unexpected career choice that she has kept secret from her family. We all know that is not going to go down well with the guys. The one bright spot is Felix who is just delicious. The story had a bit of everything I love, drama, danger love and loyalty.

Is It Possible That a MC Princess Becomes a Legit Cop?!

The Wind Dragons MC Princess has fallen to the “dark side”?! That’s what many from her family would think when she finally lets them in on the secrets she’s been hiding. Dex and Faye’s little girl has grown up to be the bad*ss reflection of both of her parents and has become a cop which makes her extremely lethal seeing she knows how the “bad guys” live as well. All she wanted to do was help people which also makes her into an exceptional choice. It surely doesn’t hurt any that her new senior partner is also at the top of his game and he is one fine specimen of a man as well.

I have loved this series and was excited when Clover was going to be given her book and what made me love this book even more was how all the “old” bikers were brought in to this story. I still love them all and now with the next generation growing up I look forward to more to come from the Wind Dragons MC.

OF ALL THIS SERIES THAT I RATE AND I READ... this one was one of my favorite and FIRST 5 STARS!

WHY?

BECAUSE ITS MORE ROMANTIC LOVE STORY... THEY WERE EASY AND ITS THE TYPE OF ROMANCE I’m looking for in a book and I’m glad this one is GREAT!

- NO DRAMA WITH OW OR OM. Only drama with the family because she was the first princess and they were being overprotective of her in a sweet way ~
OTHER DRAMA? NO... (see? How much i liked it?😛)

- NO SEPARATION

- THE HEROINE IS A VIRGIN BUT hero no. But he was celibate for a while...

- HOT SMUT SCENES

- HAPPY ENDING and few years later and she was pregnant... i think it was very good epilogue tho

- NO ANNOYING SCENE
The heroine was not being difficult and also the hero. They both really into each other...

- THE HERO AND HEROINE Didn’t push away ever

- LOVE IN FIRST SIGHT

- YES WE GET TO SEE OTHER CHARACTERS FROM THE SERIES AND THEIR FUTURE AND KIDS...

- AFTER THE HERO KNOWS ABOUT THE HEROINE BEING who she really is and where she’s come from, HE WAS NOT BEING DIFFICULT AT ALL...

- THE HERO WANTS HER SOOO BAD...

- MANY JEALOUS SCENE FROM THE HERO

- THE HERO IS OTT POSSESSIVE ALPHA MALE

- THE HEROINE IS A BADASS FEMALE! She knows how to fight and use a gun and defend herself... she also very independent and very different in a good way. I liked her so much! I’M GLAD THAT THE HEROINE TURNS OUT TO BE A AMAZING WOMAN!

Part 7

My Fallen Princess Review,

This is technically part of the Wind Dragons and Cursed Raven series but its the second generation with being the daughter of Faye and Dex Black.

Clover Black is just as ambitious and strong minded like her father but like Faye it can get her in trouble especially when Clover starts to lie to everyone in her life. Clover has always wanted to be a cop but being the daughter of the MC makes it a bit difficult.

Clover wants to prove herself with her new career but she's not getting the opportunity until she meets Felix Banks her new partner. As Felix the shining star in the department takes Clover under his wing, she starts to show her true colors which makes Felix falls for her and he is the last person anyone would want for Clover well except Clover.

So true, the gender difference in the work force is brutal and especially in law enforcement. It was portrayed well here.

"They only call it an attitude because I'm a woman. One of the only ones here. If I were a man, they'd call it leadership skills, so don't try and use that one me. . . "

I love Dex, he's such a great dad.

"I love you too, Clo," he says, expression softening. "I just wish you were less stubborn than your mother, instead of more."

This series has always been a bit MC light but it has also has kept me captivated to continue with the series. I hope this is the start of the next generation within this family. Maybe we can get more of Rhett and Cara.

Sweet and suspenseful. I liked Felix and Clover and I liked them together.

**I received a copy of Fallen Princes from Net Galley and Gallery Book in exchange for a honest and voluntary review. My opinions are mine alone and not solicited in any way.**

Fallen Princess by Chantal Fernando and is the seventh book in her Wind Dragons MC series. I've always hoped that the author would write stories about the children. This is Clover Black and Felix Banks story with a twist that may have you scratching your head...A MC Princess and a cop, hmm? There is also a huge hint that Cara and Rhett may be the next book.

Clover Black is the niece of the Wind Dragons president and decided at a young age that she wanted something different than the MC. But she doesn't want her parents to know that she's a cop my only complaint is the Clover doesn't figure out that she was given her job because of her connections. Now if she could bury her feeling to her partner Felix before they find the drug dealer that is dealing bad product.

Felix Banks doesn't want a new another partner especially a rookie one that's beautiful but little do either of them know their boss might be dirty. But when things go south quickly he won't hesitate to save her.

All in all this was a good book and I hope to read Cara and Rhett's story soon.

Fallen Princess is a pretty straightforward story: MC princess secretly becomes cop. This book does connect to both the Cursed Ravens MC series and her legal series (but that is just a name drop), but you don't have to have read either to understand. Honestly, you don't have to have read the previous books in this series to enjoy Clover's story. Clover is the daughter of the former Wind Dragons president and has always been a stubborn, strong willed child. She wanted to be a cop but feared her parents wouldn't approve so she moved to another city and joined the police force there.

I liked Clover as a heroine because she tough, smart, and yet still impulsive and reckless. She comes off as a believeable young woman-she is trying to figure out who she wants to be and how to get there and she makes some mistakes along the way. I loved Felix for her. At first, he is kind of douchey, but he really respects her. He was great for her in her professional and personal life. They had a few communication issues which I find annoying, but honestly, it worked in the story and these issues weren't the main plot point.

My biggest struggle with Fallen Princess is the struggle I have had with the last few Fernando books I've read: they seem lacking in depth. There is a lot going on in the plot and all of it seems glossed and not fully explored. I felt like any one of the plot points could have been the focus of the story instead of all of them being thrown in. You have the story of a MC girl sneaking away to be a cop, you have the subplot of the drug dealer she is trying to take down, then you have the dirty cops who want to use her, then you have the mystery of Felix's dad's death....its just a lot and any one of them would have made a great story. All of them together made Fallen Princess feel unfocused and, at times, rushed. It should be noted that despite that, I still devoured the story. I found myself thinking about it frequently when I was interrupted by mundane things like my job or my need for food.

  POV: 1st (all Clover)
  Tears: no
  Trope: MC, police, virgin
  Triggers: none
Series/Standalone: standalone within an interconnected series
  Cliffhanger:
  HEA:

other MC books by authors like Lani Lynn Vale, Kristen Ashley, Lila Rose, L. Wilder...then you will probably like Fallen Princess!

Otay y'all I was excited for this book and I enjoyed it but I gotta say Clover drove me bananas she is wild, recklace and almost childish at times. Felix is super sweet and always has her back as her partner and its surprising how well they work together. Im glad that Clover steps out and does what she wants by becoming a cop even though she knows when her family finds out it wont be fun. I gotta say that her family took her better than I thought they would. I gotta say that the ending was my favorite part!

This is not my first read by this author, the first time I ever read one of her books was many moons ago & I vividly remember how much I loved them because her books remind me a lot of KA books!

I loved this story because it contained the HEROINE who is part of the MC World & the HERO is the law abiding citizen, literary because he is an Officer. Which kind of flips the table and for me, makes it even more sexier. And boy was this steamy, in all the right places.

Clover has been questioning herself for a long time and through here you will see her struggle with finding herself, finding out who she is, wants to be, is...it's freaking amazing because it goes so much more in dept of a love story. The best part was seeing Clover and Office Felix, prove everyone WRONG! They didn't belong, had nothing in common when you look at just the bare basic...but deep down, they were soul mates. Watch Felix discover more than the woman!!

The power of this story, the words, the connections and smooth transitions...mesmerizing, I tell you, I have already been a fan of this series but something about Clover and her story that I won't be able to get over.

I am rating this a 5 PLUS & HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I would suggest the whole series but to me this was great as a stand alone too!

MC books are one of my favorites to read. This one is right up there as one of the best. I loved the conflict going on with Clover and her choice to be a cop. This one was so good, I loved Felix and how he accepted Clover for who she was. It's packed full of action and suspense. I can't wait to read more from this series.

Love MC stories and Clover’s choice to be a cop really caused conflict, she tried to keep it a secret, but that’s not going to last for long. And Felix was a great character, very accepting I loved him. There’s action and suspense as Felix and Clover work out their strengths and loyalties. An exciting read, I’m looking forward to more from this suspenseful and surprise filled series.

Fallen Princess is the 7th story in the Wind Dragon’s MC series by Chantal Fernando and follows Clover Black, the daughter of fan favourites Dex and Faye whose romance in the first novel kick-started this amazing series!

As the daughter of the former President of the Wind Dragon’s Motorcycle Club, Clover Black’s upbringing has been far from conventional. Though she knows the reputation surrounding the club, Clover has never known anything but love and family values from her large and boisterous family. They do expect a certain future for her which is why Clover has to keep her chosen profession and her dream from them……they’d never accept her being a cop. Yet that is what she has become and even though her first few months on the job haven’t been what she expected, Clover is determined to use her position to help people. If only her sarcastic attitude didn’t keep getting her into trouble. Enter Felix Banks, an up and coming young police officer, and Clover’s new partner. As Felix teaches her what it means to be a cop, Clover finds herself falling for him, but when her secrets come out, will Clover be forced to choose between the job, and man, she loves and the family she adores?

Fallen Princess is the novel long time readers have been eagerly awaiting as Chantal Fernando finally allows fans to delve into the heart and mind of Wind Dragons MC prodigal daughter Clover. We’ve known her as a baby and young girl, the apple of her parents (and all the other MC members) eye and now Clover is finally front and centre as she finds love herself.

It was really nice to have the opportunity to finally follow Clover. She’s a down to earth and well-rounded young woman who has been brought up to be able to look after and protect herself. She’s smart, savvy and sarcastic but also very sweet. I love that Clover is more than able to take care of herself and that she has taken a chance to pursue her dreams….even if they aren’t what people would have expected of her. It was ironic that the child of a biker became a cop.

The romance in Fallen Princess was wonderful too. I think Felix and Clover had lovely chemistry and I thought it was wonderful that Felix not only accepted who Clover was and where she’d come from, but that he made an effort to become a part of her life in connection to the MC. A cop walks into a bikers clubhouse…sounds like the start of a bad joke, but it was very entertaining to read about.

And in saying that, Chantal Fernando will please fans as she includes so many of all the brilliant characters from the earlier books in Fallen Princess. The older generation are still very much alive and kicking—and taking names too. Faye, Dex, Lana, Anna, Rake, Arrow, Trucker, Vinnie, Bailey, and others all appeared and brought so much fun and laughter to the novel with their antics.

A great read in what has always been such a solid and brilliant biker series, Fallen Princess proves once again why Chantal Fernando is one of the Queens of MC novels—in my eyes at least! Can’t wait to read whatever she releases next as she never fails to satify and thrill me!

Well I was excited to get this book, after reading reading about the Cursed Ravens I had wanted to read Clovers book, we knew that she had secrets when she was Erin's roomate. However I didn't like her and that had saddened me because she had potential but when I started reading it, she was selfish, immature and impulsive putting others in danger because she thought that she knew it all. I liked everybody else, I mean everybody else. Felix was a sweetie and loyal, her parents were badass, her best friends were awesome but again Clover not so much. I did love seeing Erin and Ace again.

3.5✨

ARC received for an honest review

Chantal Fernando - who is this woman, and what have you done with little Clover?

It was great to get back into Wind Dragon's world, seeing where the guys and their ladies were at.

I was intrigued as to Clover's choice of employment, however as the story continued, I could understand why she went that route.

I love how strong, fierce and fearless she is - however in this book, I could feel her selfishness come through the pages too, and I wasn't expecting that of her.

Love, lust, betrayal - Clover goes through it all in this book. I mean, who can she really, truly trust?

Enter Felix, and I am all hellooooo! *fanning myself* arrest me officer, I have committed some kind of felony!

I was always waiting for the shoe to drop, and when it did - I don't know, I was just expecting more. Don't get me wrong, I like how things were dealt with like adults, however I wanted a big blow up. But that is just the kind of person I am hahaha.

I love, love loved getting more of the WDMC - especially my man Tracker! Oh, how I adore that man!

I do hope that we do get more of Wind Dragons - The Next Generation in the future.
