Great book with fabulous pictures, illustrations and notes. Very informative. I learned a lot about the main individuals who helped build/destroy Rome and Greece that I never knew. Especially Hannibal, Caesar, Pericles and the Etruscans. Will definitely read more on each of them.

This book has a lot of interesting information in it. If you are looking for something about Greece and Rome you should definitely give this a try. However, I do feel that it is a little dated. Also, the layout of the book could have been done a better way. For me, it wasn’t clear enough. The Rome and Greece parts blended together too much. If someone wasn’t familiar with the subject, it would be very confusing for them to separate the two. With that being said, this book still has creditable information and is a good resource.
