But a dark secret lurking deep inside him threatens to destroy everything he’s struggled to gain and all that he holds dear- including himself.

Will he survive his self-destruction long enough to correct a single mistake, made not so long ago, on a fateful night in the gardens of Redolence, underneath blooming rose-brush and a winsome star-speckled sky?

Read this book now so you can feel all smug about discovering Fox Lishman before she was discovered by one of the big publishing companies! This is quality writing that deserves to be noticed. I’m telling you, you WILL NOT REGRET IT!

I positively flew through this book, despite it not being one of my usual favourite genres. The writing it’s so beautifully descriptive, painting the most vivid scenes in the readers mind. This is the kind of book that just screams to be turned into a movie or television series. I can’t wait to see how things turn out for the characters in the next instalment. Fox Lishman is a hidden gem waiting to be discovered.

Young first time author nails it!

Moving through this book, I found myself on the edge, chapter after chapter. This is not my normal genre but I am hooked. I highly recommend this book. The author does a great job developing the characters, some you love and root for, others not so much. You will be surprised throughout. Looking forward to Book 2.
