Good reads gif not have the paperback cover so I used the ebook one for this book. Another great adventure by Maddock and Bones but this one felt a bit unfinished. When I reached the end I wanted more... Still, quite enjoyable. Is there more to come??

A vague treasure hunt.
I enjoyed the book but noticed the secondary characters flitted in and out quickly. I was never certain what the actual treasure was...even at the end of of the book.

In this book we join Maddock and Bones searching for an old and forgotten excavation site. It is a little bit weird that I like these books as much as I do, but I think they are a kind of guilty pleasure. Also, they are potato chips books, as in you always want one more. The characters of Maddock and Bones are very, very stereotypical ex navy seals, and somewhat one dimensional. Each book is based on a historical myth, and they are sometimes a little bit repetitive. But the action and adventure is great and very fast paced, and the books are enjoyable.
