Serena Bentley doesn’t want or need a man. She’s got the perfect life, the perfect job, the perfect bank account, and is living her best life as a single, independent woman. #LivingMyBestLife
But she’s in desperate need of a baby. A baby made from lust, passion, and multiple rounds of heated rumbling in the sheets, not a clinic.
This, of course, is nothing short of complicated. Where does a woman like the Serena Bentley find a man who’s willing to knock her up then walk away and be gone forever? So what else can she do to get what she wants, the way she wants it, except to lie?
Two years ago, Kholton Sharpe hung up his con-man gloves and swore to the almighty he was done with that life. #NotAboutThatLife
Until his best friend, fresh out of rehab, shows up on his doorstep. Against his better judgment, Kholton finds himself picking up his con-artistry gloves one final time.
He couldn’t have known that “one final time” would be the best and worst decision he ever made. #DidNotSeeThatComing
Cole is a phenomenal storyteller, and her books are extraordinary in the truest sense of the word. Every one I’ve read has been thoughtful, intelligent, witty, and laugh-out-loud funny. Tell Me You Love Me is no exception, just add #OverTheTopFun to the list—and I mean OTT in the best possible way.
If you loved Free Hostage, you’ll love this one just as much. It has a similar feel, Cole’s unique brand of #QuirkyHeroine, and a sexy as hell #HeroOnAMission. Both characters are driven and focused, though their goals differ drastically. They’re also impossibly stubborn, which is what made this book so compulsively readable. Their hearts take a backseat to their priorities, and watching them outsmart each other to achieve their goals—while fiercely denying their feelings—was both entertaining and heart-rending. Priorities have a way of changing, and when theirs do, you’re left with an HEA that’s #SwoonWorthyPerfection.
A really enjoyable read. Tell Me You Love Me. Just three little words but for someone so hard to say.
Serena and Kholton both on a mission to get what they want.
All Kholton wants is to be fed and get laid. Serena just wants a baby no strings attached. Kholton ends up saving Serena from a kidnapping that goes wrong and takes a bullet for her. At this point in the story I thought no not another one but as it turns out something much better.
It was nice to have Serena doing all the chasing and Kholton being the playboy actually keeping his dick in his pants. Kholtons Naan was a bundle of laughs seeing straight through Serena for what she wanted. Wish we had a bit more from Naan. Not saying any more on the story. Go in blind its worth it. Lots to keep you entertained and guessing.
A beautiful love story with just the right amount of feels between two lovely characters who I couldn't help falling in love with one and a little jealous of the other.
ARC greatfully received for an honest review. Thank you S Ann Cole
This was a funny, sexy read with plot twists and witty dialogue. The heroine is a bit quirky which I mostly loved but there were a few moments I found her a bit over the top and annoying. She definitely chased the hero in this one and it was hard for me to get past her attempts at deception to get him to father her baby without his knowledge. The hero was sexy and arrogant and I always love seeing the playboy fighting his feelings but ultimately unable to resist falling in love. I love this author's style of writing. It's fresh with threads of humor throught the story that I really enjoyed.
3 Stars Contemporary Romance POV: Dual Heat Level: Hot HEA
Serena Bentley only wants a man for one thing - to knock her up then walk away. So she's been going on dates, trying to find the right man to accomplish this for her. And then she meets Kholton. He isn't interested in her at first, which is a first for her. She's used to men wanting her, after all, she's THE Serena Bentley, rich, beautiful, successful. Why wouldn't a man be interested in her? Then the man rescues her after a kidnapping attempt and everything changes between them.
But is Kholton really whom he appears? When he betrays her in the worst possible way, will the woman whose heart is closed off, keep her heart closed, or will she cling to the warmth Kholton brings?
I gotta say, Tell Me You Love Me was not what I had been expecting. It's unpredictable in the best kind of way, KHOLTON is unpredictable. And I appreciated that about this story. These two characters are perfect for each other in the long run, and I loved the surprising twists their path took them on. This was a truly entertaining, wonderfully written story and I am looking forward to much more from this author.
TELL ME YOU LOVE ME by S. Ann Cole is going on my Top Reads of 2018 list. I loved it! It is cleverly plotted, the dialogue is witty, the pacing is spot on and it’s gloriously outrageous.
Serena Bentley and Kholton Sharpe are both educated, smart and are focussed on the things they want; they want things from each other but voicing their wishes is not part of the cunning and duplicitous games these two are playing. But don’t go feeling sorry for our protagonists because they match each other very well and us readers get to observe a fabulous cat and mouse game as these two try and outwit each other.
As much as I loathe the word in romance books, this book really did make me smirk. I did feel a level of conceit knowing more than Serena and Khol did at times. Yet with the many swindles and tricks, the author still managed to outsmart me with her devious plotting.
And let’s not forget the romance! The vulnerability, the genuine feelings and sexual tension between Serena and Khol starts strong and intensifies continually, deliberately until they are slowly driven out of their minds. Gah! It’s all just oh-so-good!!!
This book is the ultimate in seduction for a reader like me. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
One of the first authors I discovered when I first started reading for fun again was this amazing woman. There was just something about her stories that compelled me to lose myself in her words. Every character and scene that she writes becomes real for me. She makes all my senses come to life and she makes the day just a little bit brighter. Upon learning that she had a new book coming out I was ecstatic. I had been waiting for a year for her to give my imagination a chance to soar again.
It was worth the wait. In the book world, it is often rare to discover a book that is unlike anything else out there. Yet, this author managed to do that. Serena and Kholton were perfect. Serena struggled with commitment while Khol was anything OTHER than a typical playboy. It was nice to see a man that was neither alpha or beta but rather just was secure in who he was and not afraid to show it. I loved him something fierce (but to be fair I have LOVED all of her male characters). The story is a great progression of watching two people build on a connection that was destiny, to begin with. What started out for questionable reasons on both of their parts quickly moved in a direction that neither of them anticipated. The secondary characters were great and I hope to see them all again in their own books.
The author does a great job in showing the power of words, not just her own but also with her characters, and that sometimes it is hard to express the vulnerability that comes from vocalizing three little words. Even if someone can say them with thoughts or actions there still is a need to hear them.
This hit a little close to home for me because I have not been the best at vocalizing them in the past and it reminded me that I need to do better in the future. I look forward to whatever the next book is that this author writes because she truly is proof that magic exists in the world.

She has everything she wants in love except one thing a baby. She does not want to go to a clinic but to have wild sex. He has turned his back on being a conman but he is about to be pulled back in. He may just end up with the best new as well as bad. What is going to happen? Will she get what she wants? See if she will

An intriguing romantic comedy story. It is an enjoyable well written storyline that is fun, engaging, has surprising twists and held my interest all the way through with good engaging, stubborn, likeable, and vulnerable characters. I loved following them as they tried to outsmart the other. This romance had real feelings and lots of sexual tension between Serena and Khol making a very entertaining romance.

Maybe my expectation were too high. I felt like the book was all over the place and not consistent. Kholton was just too perfect…I like romance books not fairy tales.
