Jonahmae Pacala (publishing as Jonaxx) was never fond of reading longnovels during her elementary years but found a deep connection with sshort sad stories. She discovered her flair for writing at the early age of ten. What was once a hobby has now grown into a passion for writing online.
Love it the second time around (thought that it was just an ok story the first time - how foolish can I be?).
Si Kajik na ang pangalawa sa listahan ng paborito kong Mercadejas (3rd gen). At si Andra ang isa sa mga piling spoiled brat na nagustuhan ko. May mga storya talaga na mas gumaganda pag inuulit ano?
"Nothing will ever be stay, not the night... nor the morning... not the moon... or the sun. Everything fades... eventually." "I wish I turn back time. To the time when the only I adore is the moon up above." "She's right. To love is to set he free, and to be free with her. To love is to do... everything with her. To love is to live and accept the flaws of life... only... with her
One of my favorites. The story is living by its name. Kajik taming Andra. I love Kajik giving Andra a lot of time, freedom and let her do what she wants. After Kajik shared his pov, it's dead end. I love this.
I love the words that put in this book, every piece of it. This is my second book in the month of lock down. It keep me up all night to read this.
MAHALIN MO RIN AKO KARIUS JANDRIK MERCADEJAS😔😔 the way kajik is willing to do everything for andra is just😩. i will always be on my knees for clingy and jealous jandrik. i was having secondhand embarrassment sa mga pinagagawa ni andra lol. she thought she fooled kajik about her pregnancy but little did she know, he was behind all of it just to keep her with him. the things we do for love, hardinero kajik is living in my mind rent free😎. this story proves communication is the key, don't let your anger control yourself (but we can't blame andra). love you sooo much kajik and andraaa💋

Iyong story oks lang for me. Kaya first time ko makabasa na same silang wild. Hahaha
Mare-recommed ko ba 'to? Well, I'm not sure. I like Kajik pero hindi ako ganoon nagandahan sa overall na story. Read at your own risk nalang. 😅
Oh, how to be Kajik's baby. 😭 He hard carried this story for me.
In all of CLS Jgirls, i feel like Andra has the least character development. And she's got to be the most red flag CLS Jgirl but since her inner thoughts are usually funny, you can't hate her.
matanong ko lang---can't this person write anything decent for once in her life? like the lead characters fell in love in a legal age and not grown ass men and an underage girl?
Very petty for me, but I get it Andra is very young and pampered. I CAN’T GET OVER THE FACT! TE! ginawa ba namang hardinero ang pinakamagaling at matalinong si Kajik?! CLOCK IT QUEEN!

As usual, kulang na naman ako ng tulog dahil sa story na to!! Haha.
This one's definitely wilder that Jonaxx's previous stories but man!!!! I am digging it. There's some cliche part ofcourse because nobody's perfect, duh! But you wouldn't mind it because....it's Jonaxx!
Basta, look i-forward nyo ang final chapter mga bakla!!!! Pero all chapters naman talaga dapat nyo i look forward haha.
Read this one and I'm sure you'll enjoy it as much as I did with added eyebags because it won't let you put it down without finishing it haha ;)
1 of 2 of my favorites sa cls series. i can't even count how many times i've read this story (i just love it that much!!) up until now, lagi ko pa rin siyang bina-balikbalikan and i don't think i'll ever get tired of reading kajik and andra's wild love story.
'Ruling the Wild Waves' starts off with the most straightforward and emotional of stories before interjecting it with a dizzying array of tricks. The fact that the book manages to almost work despite the adornments is some type of testament to the strength of the plot and the warmth of its hero, Karius Jandrik 'Kajik' Mercadejas.
Constanciandra 'Andra' Lopez discloses she is unhappy in her marriage with Karius Jandrik 'Kajik' Mercadejas to her friends, Klaus and Byron, in the opening scene that sets off a chain of events that span months and previous years. As a result, we learn more about her, the one who enjoys dating boys and naval architecture, spends a lot of time looking at the beetles in the Mercadejas garden, and never backs down from Kajik's 'girls'. Kajik is a business prodigy who is dedicated to his work as a cement mogul. He is very competitive and always gets the most lucrative deals. I guess Jonaxx isn't interested in making a book that tells an impending annulment story; instead, she wants to test the waters and get this one right...and I guess she tried? These may seem like inconsequential details, but Kajik and Andra show the depth of specificity present throughout RTWW. As two characters in a home drama, they are as completely realised as they have been in months.
Each chapter is a stand-alone moment in time, transmitted months later through professional successes or failures. Yet the same scenario—a confrontation between Kajik and Andra and their inability to keep their hands off one another—occurs repeatedly throughout the whole book.
And despite it being a domestic drama, there is some unexpected humour. There have been a few arguments in the past, but this one seems to be permanent as Andra returns from Europe to the Philippines to file for annulment. As Kajik learns that Andra is claiming that she is pregnant with another man's child, this turns into a significant tug of war between the two of them. Kajik is constantly juggling the increasingly heated events as the CEO of both Lopez Lines and MERC, while Andra is trying to make her husband suffer by gallivanting across Europe and then going home to demand that he fulfil all her wishes and caprices.
It would have been so simple to create a version of this tale with a clear antagonist, one that would have allowed us to support a particular result. The reality that there is no 'good' outcome with the lack of communication in a relationship is what Ate J is examining. Andra is essentially jumping to conclusions when she thought Kajik didn't want to marry her, while Kajik also didn't reveal his true intentions of helping the Pastranas after the capsizing of their largest ship. Some people will choose a side, but I firmly feel that this story works better if you can see both Kajik and Andra's good and bad sides.
Beyond love, beyond marriage, beyond the selfishness and secrets that destroy love, beyond the centrifugal force that sends egos whirling away from one another and prevents lasting relationships—beyond all these things—there still remains what Kajik and Andra know about one another, that they care about each other, that in a decade of knowing each other, they have been touched and known so deeply that they still remember and still care. And that is what Jonaxx has been able to accept, the source of her reconciliation to the story.
RTWW as a whole occasionally lacks the ferocity I was expecting from Andra. She was a brat and her choices and decisions gave me headaches. But every time she's with Kajik, they look blazing hot that it's hard to think of anything else.
