‘Blue’ is a rhyming coming-of-age story for children between the ages of two and five. It follows a young boy as he works through different coping strategies for feeling blue. He tries playing games, forcing a smile, and eating lots of comfort food, like chocolate, but none of these things seem to help. Finally, he discovers a solution when he decides to tell his parents how he really feels.
‘Blue’ deals with the real feelings of sadness that can show up seemingly without any reason. Currently, there are many great initiatives to promote mental and emotional health, and this book aims to contribute to the cause.
