He was called a modern renaissance man for his ability to express himself in many fields; music, painting, poetry, philosophy and metaphysics.

He wrote for national magazines since the '30s and was the author of many books.

An excellent account of aspects as deriving their quality from their position in the 12 phase system of the Zodiac. The Sun/Moon cycle is given as an example.
The power of this work is it sets a philosophical basis for aspect meanings that gone beyond the easy to see/calculate conjunction/trine/square etc.
The bit on Divine idea of circle vs Earthly expression of cycle is also useful as a philosophical basis for Air/Earth (though that is not specifically mentioned).

Fascinating, life-altering concepts but a bit short on practical application. Even the "how-to" section is fairly meta. Either way, it is something I will come back to often for reference.
