PRONTA PER FLYNN (trilogia di autoconclusivi in serie) è tutto quello che ci si aspetta di leggere in un plot MUSIC ROMANCE che si estende per tre volumi.
Nei suoi libri troverete raccontata la storia di Flynn e di Valerie, di un amore acerbo nato per caso e ostacolato dal tempo e dallo spazio, troverete anche il dramma di una famiglia, i trabocchetti tipici della vita da rock star, però, soprattutto troverete RESILIENZA.
Sì, perchè è questo il vero leadmotiv dello scritto della Shandwick; qualsiasi cosa accada a questa coppia, qualsiasi ostacolo la vita mette loro davanti, in un modo o nell'altro (spesso più nell'altro) loro riescono a uscirne più saldi di prima.
La morte, la vita, il successo e il fallimento, la lealtà e il tradimento sono solo alcuni dei motivi contrastanti che accompagneranno la vita di F & V.
Ho apprezzato molto la crescita realistica di Valerie, la protagonista femminile, (è vero, a un certo punto diventa wonderwoman, ma è altrettanto vero che continua a fare tutte le cavolate tipiche della sua età) e ho apprezzato anche che Flynn, nonostante la presa di coscienza di un amore importante non perda smalto trasformandosi in Mirko dei Bee-Hive.
Ho apprezzato anche che se la prima parte è concentrata sul pov femminile, la seconda continua con quello maschile, allargando in parte la visuale.
Il ritmo narrativo è alto e le pagine vi scorreranno tra le dita in maniera veloce. le scene hot sono hot, però sempre ben incastonate all'interno della trama e lo stesso posso dire dei momenti romantici.
Non c'è che dire, se dovessi suggerire un MUSIC ROMANCE decisamente completo (sia per la narrazione estesa anche nel tempo, sia per i meccanismi che ci sono dietro a una band) PRONTA PER FLYNN farà di certo al caso vostro.

L’enorme polverone e scandalo che Bernie Laker, il vecchio manager dei Major ScAlz aveva lasciato dietro di sé, aveva gettato la band nello sconforto, convinti di essere stati messi definitivamente fuori gioco.
Flynn dubitava fortemente che Valerie, la ragazzina che amava ormai da molti anni e che era diventata una splendida donna d’affari, seppur ancora molto giovane, accettando di diventare la loro manager sarebbe riuscita ad accettare “tutto lo schifo” e i compromessi che aveva dovuto affrontare lui fin dall’inizio della sua carriera musicale. Certo, c’era da ammettere che la ragazza che aveva conosciuto due anni e mezzo prima era molto lontana dalla giovane donna scaltra e impertinente che era diventata.
Ne aveva passate tante da quando l’aveva conosciuta, e affrontato momenti terribili, e non voleva che qualcos’altro ancora la ferisse.
«La timida ragazza di quindici anni che avevo incontrato allora era protetta ferocemente dai suoi tre fratelli, e per quanto possa suonare come un cliché, allora era davvero pura come la neve. Al giorno d’oggi era una circostanza molto rara con le ragazze».
Per la vita che conduceva allora, era stato facile per i suoi fratelli tenerla lontana dai pericoli ma, come Valerie aveva imparato, le cose più devastanti capitano anche nella sicurezza della propria casa.
«Buffo come un giorno possa cambiare la tua vita, Valerie e io lo sapevamo meglio di chiunque altro. Entrambi eravamo stati scossi fino al midollo. Sopravvivere era una cosa, diventare le persone che eravamo ora aveva richiesto molta resilienza».
Ciò che lo aveva colpito di più era la nuova e sfacciata versione di Valerie, quella che sapeva prendersi cura di se stessa. Non importava quanto fosse giovane.
Ma il mondo là fuori era spietato. Cosa poteva saperne lei della difficile gestione di un gruppo rock? Sarebbe stata presa sul serio oppure sarebbe diventata lo zimbello dell’industria musicale, finendo per affondare del tutto la band?
Ma Flynn aveva già deciso. Le avrebbe affidato le redini della sua carriera, e, a conti fatti, anche del suo cuore.
🖋️In questo secondo volume della serie l’autrice pone in evidenza l’amore smisurato che Flynn nutre per Valerie. È geloso e possessivo nei suoi confronti ma la lascia libera di esprimersi come meglio sente, sia come compagna di vita che come donna d’affari.
🖋️Flynn è una roackstar di successo, ma nonostante la fama e la fortuna con le donne, soprattutto con le groupie sempre pronte a cedere al suo fascino, il suo cuore è tutto dedicato alla sua piccola Val.
Ma è anche un uomo insicuro e dall’animo tormentato.
Il mondo in cui viveva era costellato da successo inebriante, ma anche da continue tentazioni, incompatibili con il dover custodire e far crescere un giovane amore come quello che stava vivendo con Valerie, purtroppo messo continuamente a dura prova da numerosi ostacoli e drammi familiari, capaci di minare in modo drastico qualunque rapporto, figurarsi il loro, ancora all'inizio e tutto da scoprire.
🖋️Un libro scorrevole e dalla scrittura fluida, che rapisce e coinvolge fin dall’inizio, creando attesa e suspence.

How does one couple get thrown into so many unfortunate circumstances and still overcome them? Well we definitely find out in Ready For Flynn, Part Two!
Flynn and Valarie's story continues in Ready for Flynn, Part Two and once again I was drawn in from page one. The strength and resilience that Valarie shows left me inspired. Flynn, well he was just Flynn and I fell even more in love with him in this book. His protectiveness over Valarie continued even as their relationship was taken to the next level.
My heart stopped a few times throughout the book but was quickly brought back. Ready For Flynn, Part Two was never lacking its share of drama. K.L Shandwick, you did another amazing job and I hope there is more of Flynn and Valare in store for the future from you.

What a fantastic continuation of Flynn and Valerie's story. KL Shandwick once again pulls you into to their story with her fabulous writing style and story lines.
Flynn and Valerie are starting out in their new relationship they have great sexual chemistry and are in love with each other but with so much going on in their lives both personally and professionally it's not always easy will they fall at the first hurdle or are the strong enough as a couple to get through everything that's thrown at them.
Definitely another 5 Star read for me and I'm looking forward to the next part of Flynn and Valerie's story.

Ed eccoci arrivati al secondo volume di "Pronta per Flynn parte seconda" avevamo lasciato Valerie e Flynn alle prese con il disastro causato da Bernie, l'ex manager della band, i Major ScAlz.
Valerie aveva preso subito la situazione in mano proponendo di diventare lei stessa la nuova manager e aiutarli ad arginare i danni grazie ai soldi dell'assicurazione che il padre gli aveva dato dopo la morte dei fratelli, Martin e Adam.
Creig, l'altro componente della band che aveva appoggiato Flynn nella lotta contro Bernie non era molto d'accordo, Valerie era troppo piccola e secondo lui non aveva esperienza nell’industria musicale che era infestata da squali che stavano aspettando solo il momento di attaccarli. Ma dopo aver ascoltato i suoi programmi e constatato le sue capacità organizzative, non ha potuto far altro che accettare che fosse una donna molto scaltra.
«Guardati, piccola civetta sexy . Sono contento di non averti baciato prima che finissi di parlare. Vedo che la tua mente è da un’altra parte»
Iniziano così a pianificare la loro nuova immagine, e a fare audizioni per trovare i nuovi componenti per formare una nuova band la "RedA".
L'amore della sua famiglia l'aveva resa la ragazza straordinaria che era, aveva imparato grazie al padre e ai suoi consulenti a diventare una donna d'affari molto capace, ma i problemi non erano finiti.
Valerie si sa, ha avuto delle brutte esperienze in passato con i suoi ex che l'hanno sempre tradita, quindi non è facile per lei fidarsi di Flynn soprattutto con l'ingresso nella band di Lexy, la nuova bassista, che cerca di insinuarsi tra lei e Flynn creando molta tensione tra i due.
«Ti porto a letto, Valerie. Lascia che ti mostri quanto sei importante per me. Si tratta di me e te. Le nostre vite. Non c’è niente in mezzo a noi, non lo permetterò. Lexi è giusta per la band. Questo è tutto. È tutto. Capisci?»
Anche Flynn dal canto suo aveva il suo bel da fare nel tenere la gelosia a freno nei confronti di Valerie. Il bisogno di proteggerla e di possederla erano in continuo conflitto. Era un bisogno viscerale a cui non sapeva dare un equilibrio. Provava per Valerie sentimenti molto profondi mai provati prima.
«Sei tu. Ecco cos’è. Ho problemi a controllarmi intorno a te. Non ho mai conosciuto nessuno che riesca a farmi eccitare con un sorriso come fai tu.»
I mesi a venire saranno molto impegnativi per portare alla ribalta la band e per il consolidamento del loro rapporto, ma quando tutto sembrava stesse andando alla perfezione, un incontro inaspettato con il passato di Flynn metterà tutto in discussione, rischiando di rompere l'equilibrio che avevano creato. Tacere dei segreti da parte di Flynn mette a dura prova la fiducia di Valerie.
Riuscirà a reagire all'ennesima batosta che la vita gli ha messo davanti?
Ho apprezzato molto l'interazione tra Flynn e Valerie nella loro quotidianità, sono stati uno spasso e hanno alleggerito di molto la lettura .
A differenza del primo volume in questo troviamo il Pov di entrambi i protagonisti, quindi si ha una visione più ampia delle azioni e dei pensieri del protagonista. Flynn si conferma l'uomo maturo e innamorato che abbiamo imparato a conoscere sin dal primo volume e non possiamo fare a meno di amarlo ancor di più.
A differenza del primo libro in questo secondo non c'è molto Angast, ma l'autrice come sempre è riuscita a coinvolgermi e a tenermi col fiato sospeso fino alla fine.
Ho apprezzato la caratterizzazione dei protagonisti e la loro crescita, gli sbagli commessi li hanno fatti crescere e maturare trovando un buon equilibrio di coppia. Le scene hot sono molto intense e passionali descritte in maniera molto dettagliata ma mai volgare. Adesso aspetto con ansia il terzo ed ultimo volume della serie.

Come già sapete questa serie mi ha rapito il cuore.
Amo K.L ed il suo stile, le sue rockstar non mi deludono mai, ma Flynn ha quel qualcosa in più che te lo fa amare alla follia.
Un animo sensibile e tormentato, abbiamo potuto appurarlo nel primo volume.
Nonostante il successo, la fama e le donne, lui non ha occhi che per Valerie, mi ha fatto una tenerezza infinita la sua insicurezza, il suo non sentirsi abbastanza e la sua paura di essere abbandonato.
La mia bellissima e sexy rockstar mi amava e non era sicuro al cento per cento che ricambiassi i suoi sentimenti .
Aveva paura di perdermi.

Come già sapete questa serie mi ha rapito il cuore.
Amo K.L ed il suo stile, le sue rockstar non mi deludono mai, ma Flynn ha quel qualcosa in più che te lo fa amare alla follia.
Un animo sensibile e tormentato, abbiamo potuto appurarlo nel primo volume.
Nonostante il successo, la fama e le donne, lui non ha occhi che per Valerie, mi ha fatto una tenerezza infinita la sua insicurezza, il suo non sentirsi abbastanza e la sua paura di essere abbandonato.
La mia bellissima e sexy rockstar mi amava e non era sicuro al cento per cento che ricambiassi i suoi sentimenti .
Aveva paura di perdermi.

Audio Review:
Picking up where book one left off, this was an emotional roller coaster of a read that will most definitely get to you. I loved it from the first to the last chapter.
From the first chapter I was fully engaged as to what was happening with Valerie Darsin and Flynn Docherty. They have been through so much and the journey continues with us and downs that will test them not only as individuals but also as a couple.
The narration from Anne Marie Damman was extremely good and really brought the story to life for me as I listened. The only thing that would have made this even better was if it had been done in duet narration, but that is just my personal preference.
K.L. Shandwick has a style of writing about her that will draw you in and keep you invested as the story progresses. I cannot wait to listen to part 3.

I read this book through Kindle Unlimited. This is book two of the series. My only complaint about the book is the same one I had for book one which is major. The author goes totally over board in her praise for an 18 year old having the knowledge to manage a band on a high school education. The author leads you to believe she is “smarter” than experienced lawyers in her having them add routine things to their contract. It’s totally unbelievable that someone is this perfect and knowledgeable at 18 years old.
Flynn decides to let Valerie manage his return as a rock star after he leaves his previous band. She is an 18-year-old barely photographer with zero experience in management or contacts in the entertainment field. With his money frozen due to the lawsuits for walking away he really has no choice. She was given the lawsuit money from her brother’s deaths and has millions to spend on resurrecting his career. The author goes overboard in making Valerie the bands boss rather than her working for them. When Flynn auditions for new band members perfect Valerie has a lot of jealousy with the female band member that is hired. After a little drama the band settles into rehearsals and basically bides their time until they can make the announcement of their new band after the trial of their former manager is over.
During this time Perfect Valerie becomes pregnant due to lack of birth control on her part and his lack of using a condom knowing she isn’t smart, oops I mean experienced enough to protect herself. She can single handedly bring a band to stardom but can’t manage birth control. The pregnancy becomes high risk and she has a hard time backing off and letting others manage the band and take care of herself and the baby. The baby is born 8 weeks premature but everything works out fine. The book ends on Flynn feeling bad they are not engaged and or married and anytime he mentions it she shuts him down saying they don’t need labels. But prefect Valerie knows best right??? Poor Flynn he is almost emasculated the way she is so in charge of everything. She gets really old.

So okay, we start off right where Ready for Flynn Part 1 left off and honestly, it usually takes me a while to try and remember the first book or the previous book of the series especially when it's been a while but oh my gosh, this one clicked right away. Ready for Flynn Part 1 was so freaking good that when I picked up the second part, everything came rushing right back to me as I started reading Part 2.
I'm a big sucker for rockstar romance books <3
Flynn is like the perfect guy. He has the best qualities and he cares so much about Valerie, he takes her into consideration and will drop everything for her.
Valerie might be young, but she is a very strong, intelligent and independent girl and I love that about her. She came right in and swept everyone right off their feet. I totally loved her!
If it weren't for Valerie, there wouldn't be no ReadA (Flynn's group). Valerie cares so much about Flynn that she went out of her way to help him get his career going again after the fiasco that happened in Part 1.
These two were amazing together, they definitely go through some ups and downs throughout this book and it amazes me how well Ms. Shandwick did with this series. I am a little sad that it's over, but I am overwhelmed and happy that Valerie and Flynn were able to get through those hoops and obstacles that kept trying to get in the way of their happiness. For as strong-willed as Valerie was, she was also weak and susceptible when it came to Flynn. Flynn was her world as much as she was his.
I am enamored with this series and I sincerely do recommend it. It is highly addictive....Flynn is addicting ;) This is definitely a series that you DON'T want to miss!!

Ready For Flynn, Part 1 was a couldn’t put it down, absolutely fantastic read, so I had high hopes for Part 2 and couldn’t wait to see where this story went. Well, this book met all my expectations and then some. K.L. knocked it out the park with part 2!!
The book continues on from where we left off in part 1. Valerie is helping Flynn with the band, Craig isn’t too happy about an 18 year old girl handling his career as well as Flynn’s, but Valerie being Valerie, the head strong and overly skilful young lady she is, doesn’t batter an eye lid and just gets on with it.
With Flynn being in the public eye, life isn’t easy for them. Their relationship is still new and they are being thrown curve balls constantly but they’re such a solid unit and together they lean on each other and work on their strengths. Such an inspiring couple.
The biggest bonus was you get Flynn’s POV. That’s right, you get in to the head of Flynn. Reading his side of things was great, you don’t always agree with him, I mean he is a bloke after all, they don’t get it right all the time but he is so committed to Valerie and she is his mean focus, she is all he wants to protect in this world. He protected her from day one and he will continue to do so. I fell in love with Flynn all over again.
I have to repeat what I said about K.L’s writing. Yet again, you are catapulted in to a story that develops in front of your eyes. The scenes/descriptions are laid out in a way that you feel like you are in the room and that you know each character personally. I honestly cannot recommend these books enough!

I have been looking forward to catching up with Flynn and Valerie’s story since I finished reading part one and luckily I didn’t have to long too wait. I was definitely not disappointed. Part two starts where part one ended; it felt like I hadn’t been away at all and I loved the continuing story.
I love K.L. Shandwick’s writing style, it flows well and her characters are believable, they have all the usual quirks, insecurities and characteristics of real people. I love Flynn, he is such a nice guy, kind, and understanding and sexy – of course - well he is a rock star after all! Valerie has had to deal with so much, and now at 19 she really has a very wise head on her young shoulders. She is one very together lady and Flynn adores her. Of course things don’t go exactly smoothly, but when does life ever do that.
This is a great story and a definite must read after part one. I will definitely be reading part three as soon as it is released. Well done K.L. Shandwick.

Oh.My.Gosh! What an emotional story that you can relate from both Flynn and Valerie's perspective. I totally get Valerie's trust issues with Flynn. He's a hot rock star that has millions of women wanting him. She's been cheated on before and can't help feel how she feels. I totally get Flynn's issues with Valerie. She's young but mature, he naturally wants to be her protector and shield her from unwanted worry and stress. She misconstrudes his reasons of keeping things from her as mistrusting.
Valerie is amazing with handling the band and getting them back to stardom. She is the glue to keeping Flynn in check. The masterpiece that unfolds in this story is amazing! You feel the emotions with this couple every step through their journey.
I can't even start to comprehend what is going to happen next for them. I have my own visions of what I'd like to see them do, but I'm not giving away anything from this story. I just love this couple so much and hope for more permanent

Loved the continued story of Flynn and Valerie. This one comes with new challenges for the young couple. In the first book we hung to each other through tragedy and became the strong couple they are. Valerie is such a strong character for her age. We do see glimpses of her insecurities but I'm glad Flynn is able to get through to her and show her it's all in her head. We meet the new band and that comes with its own set of problems. But again they get through it together. Can't wait to see what else comes of their story. KL Shandwick thank you for another awesome book. I haven't read a book I didn't love!!!! Thank you!!!

this is the second book in the series and it continues from part one. this book will suck you in from the first page, keeping you hooked till the very last. this book has plenty of drama which helps keeps you hooked. the characters are fab just like the first book and the story still as fantastic

Finally the the continuation of Flynn and Valerie. We get to see them as a couple and the hard decisions they have to face and the insecurities that Valerie experiences, but we get to see how strong they are as well. This is a very well written story with great characters that are real. loved it.

Torniamo nell’universo di Flynn e Valerie per la seconda volta; poi ci aspetterà ancora un volume conclusivo in cui i fili tessuti nei primi due arriveranno al termine…
Nel primo romanzo siamo stati sommersi da un dolore inimmaginabile, in questo, invece, la coppia Flynn – Valerie, è alla ricerca di una stabilità che il mondo delle rock star pare non essere in grado di garantire.
I due affronteranno molti, chiamiamoli così, imprevisti e ad un certo punto della storia un uragano rischierà di distruggere tutto.
Non aggiungo né specifico niente di più perché tutto è veramente parte importante della storia che ci porta dritti al terzo volume in cui direi, ovviamente, che la nostra autrice torturerà ancora i nostri poveri personaggi facendogli sudare ogni piccola gioia.
In questo romanzo Flynn e Valerie mostrano una nuova e diversa consapevolezza di loro stessi e una nuova maturità.
Flynn ha trovato il punto stabile della sua vita, Valerie, mentre lei, nonostante la giovanissima età, entra nel mondo musicale e nella loro relazione con una sicurezza e una consapevolezza quasi impensabile per una diciannovenne.
Certo in molti momenti si sentirà insicura ma troverà sempre il modo di reagire: Valerie è stata duramente provata dalla vita ma, nonostante questo, è una vincente.
Flynn ha smesso di perdersi, è totalmente concentrato sull’amore, fin troppo protettivo direi. La sua carriera musicale, sotto la guida di Valerie, ha preso vigore, il nuovo gruppo è ben assortito e i problemi con il suo ex manager si sistemeranno.
Tutto sembra magnifico ma… continuerà così? Non ci resta che aspettare la prossima uscita per saperlo.

Although I really liked the first book I loved this one so much. The author definitely upped the passion and the angst in this one and, daayumm, it was good!!
This series is proving to be so addictive that I read it in a day. I’m moving straight to part 3 next and can not wait to see what’s in store for Valerie, Flynn and the rest of the gang.
If you’ve not yet read this series and you’re into angst, heart rending emotion and red hot passion then is the one for you!! Are you ready for Flynn? I know I am!!

Why has it taken me so long to read this series?
We catch up with Flynn and Valerie as they continue on their journey. Their life is about to change in some dramatic ways. There are new arrivals and lots of old faces. However, with temptation and a chance of new found fame in the way can they survive the rollercoaster that's about to happen?

Oh my life, Part 2 was incredible!! I cannot handle how much I love Flynn and Valerie! After the heartache of Part 1 it took me months to get to this one but I am so so glad I did. This series is just something else.

Oh boy!! I couldn't have been anymore ready to read part two of 'Ready for Flynn'. The story continues with even more drama and honestly who knew so much could happen to one person or persons. When in the spotlight I guess that is exactly how you live your life, always having your every move watched. Privacy is definitely a thing of the past.
Valerie is older, wiser and ready to do battle with just about anyone that gets in her way. All she needs is Flynn's trust and she will take him to the top. Many things have happened and while I am not going to give you even a tiny detail, let's just say if you thought part one was good, you are going to love this. I have been shouting out and laughing out loud, quite frankly it's another book that has given me every emotion possible, anger, sadness, happiness, excitement. Just when you think everything is going to be okay, its NOT!!
Love is a powerful emotion and as wonderful as it feels sometimes having the trust to carry on with love is one of the hardest things to do. If you have had your trust broken previously it's even harder to give. You can't just switch off your emotions as much as we think we can, doubts can creep in at the most inconvenient times. Valerie struggles with this issue almost everyday, even though Flynn will tell her how he feels, she still has niggles and doubts. Honestly I found myself wanting to give her a shake but when all said and done and I am reading what she is seeing and feeling it's hard not to feel compassion towards the life that she has led so far.
Secrets, lies and revelations are all revealed in this book but I feel there is more to come, it's far from over. Who knows what the future holds for Valerie, Flynn, Kayden even Craig and Simone. There is a whole host of characters that revolve around Flynn and the Darsin family and I don't think I will settle until I hear where each and everyone of them have settled or not in some cases.
God, Flynn sure knows how to talk dirty though. Sorry just felt the need to share that. He oozes so much sex appeal, I find it hard to sit still while reading. He just.... you know and then grrrr and you want to.... get the idea? He preforms well, ha!! okay, he can give you a mind blowing orgasm without even taking your clothes off, how's that?
Have no fear this book does not end on a cliff hanger. I am so looking forward to reading part three. Do you love Rock Romance? well this is the book for you. Don't even think about it, download because Flynn is going to take you on a seriously wild ride through every emotion you can possibly ever feel.

When I came to the end of Ready For Flynn, part 1, I was angry. I am not a good cliffhanger reader. I want to have the whole story or I like to wait until all parts are available at my fingertips. The emotions I was still feeling after reading part 1 were very strong. Thankfully I didn't have to wait too long.
Can Valerie and Flynn really pull this off. Will she be able to step up to the plate and be manager for a Rock Star? Will people take her seriously or mock her because of her age? What will be the result of the charges against the old manager and how will Flynn's fans deal with everything? So many questions. Well they were all answered and so much more.
Valerie not only grows up before our eyes but she has become such a smart strong confident woman. She has grabbed the bull by its horns and jumped in with both feet. There isn't much talk about her research time but she seems to have thought of every possible avenue in getting this new band off and running. With the help of some special people and faith of those around her. All the while she is trying to get used to her new love for this amazing man. Life in the public eye is not easy and takes some getting used to. Valerie doesn't falter much. When life throws them a few more curve balls, Valerie and Flynn seem to find a way to deal.
Flynn is so in awe of his beautiful girlfriend and sometimes gets lost just watching her take charge. We truly get to see the loving man that he is when his past brings some new skeletons. Clearly his losses from the past make him feel and love at a depth many don't understand. Willing to do anything to keep his family safe. All of his family, especially new found additions. His writing is inspired with a whole new energy.
This book is truly full of chaos, healing and learning to love and express that love. None of it comes easy but if you trust and are willing to fight you can find a way. Will Flynn and Valerie survive the hard world of Rock & Roll? What will they overcome next?

Reading Ready for Flynn, I didn't warm up to the guy immediately. In fact I thought he was a conceited twit a lot of the time. His life and choices had a profound affect on Valerie and I was unsure he'd ever redeem himself. By the time that book ended, I was gagging for book 2 and crikey, the drama! At this point Valerie is still only 18 going on 38! She's become an astute business woman and as Flynn's new manager has proven herself as a force to be reckoned, no matter what trials are thrown at them. It seemed inevitable that his promiscuous past would come back to haunt them with a surprising outcome. As one drama is resolved, another is just around the corner and at times Valerie acts like the teenager she is which is a good thing otherwise you'd forget she's not this worldly wise woman.
The relationship between Flynn and Valerie is at times a trial by fire, passionate, possessive and deeply committed. Unexpected circumstances throw a wrench in the plans she has made for Flynn's comeback but like everything she turns her hand to, Valerie bowls through it like a pro.
Flynn still irritates me but I've decided this has more to do with his past but when it counts he steps up to the plate. At times I felt Valerie came across as a little too clever but the previously mentioned teenage outbursts were a good reminder that she wasn't quite as grown up as she thought all the time.
While the end of part one left you in no doubt where part two would pick up the story, this book had a more natural ending so I'm intrigued where the next book will take us. Will they marry? Will the nasty Iria turn up to rock the boat? And will Niamh and Lee ever get together? I guess we'll have to wait and see.
K.L. Shandwick tells a great story and the Flynn series is definitely a great story!

Talk about binge reading. After reading #1 I literally couldn't NOT move straight onto #2 & see what Flynn & Val had in store. I gotta say I wasn't disappointed in the least & once again devoured this book in 1 sitting. From beginning to end I was pulled into their world once more as I followed them on this part of their journey & everything it has to throw at them.
I loved how this book really was about two young people in forever love, trying to find their way, learning how to trust & ultimately discover who they are, what they stand for & what they want from their future.
Flynn' s love is boundless & endless & I loved loved loved this man big time. KL truly makes his heart & soul pour from the pages in his words, wisdom & almost all of his actions. His smile is infectious, his passion is palpable & his cheekiness just makes me grin like I know the guy personally.
Val's love & loyalty for Flynn shines so brightly, even when she feels vulnerable & unsure. I loved how she never lost her way & maintained the adorable but feisty personality i'd come to love. Yes at times her age & immaturity was a little whiny, but seriously this girl has had to endure not just her past, but all the shit that comes with loving a Rock Star & that too me earns her my love & adoration.
The two words that sum up this one for me would be Trust & Resilience. Their path is more than a little bumpy, but I felt ever so proud & full of love at all they overcame together. I felt their hurt & anger as well as their pain, but their love.. well their love continued to fill me with deep down happiness that maybe, young love will always win the day.
And I could never forget Kayden, because I truly do love this man so damn much my heart hurts all over again ..

Well K L Shandwick - how to relate what I found in this book. Firstly - You actually took me into the story. It was not at all like reading a book but more living in the story. I was so immersed in following Flynn and Valerie and the members of the band, it was like actually being there.
Because of your words and the way you described everything - I actually felt I was there in the story. Walking alongside Flynn and Valerie and being one of their friends and following their story first hand.
The sex came second for me because their love was so intense and could be felt and readers will find they will feel this for themselves. As I said the sex was very hot and exciting and the emotional roller coaster will slay the reader.
Your obvious knowledge of the process of forming and managing a super rock band is astounding. The way you took the teader through the problems and endowed Valerie with the skills she needed were incredible. The band members and the songs were. fantastic. I would imagine there would be many problems in getting it right

Oh my soul!!!!! I absolutely loved part 1 and I couldn't wait for Part 2 cause I was so curious to see what happens next for Flynn and Valerie. And let me tell you... Like always KL Shandwick did not disappoint us in this one!!! I was blown away about how much love and troubles 2 people can endure but still they find a way for everything to work out!!! Valerie is one strong lady with so much love to give and she's hardworking and puts everything in to what she loves and believes in!!! Flynn OMG he's my favourite book boyfriend of all times!!! He just has a heart of Gold and a strong passion for his music and of course his love for Valerie!! He's one Hot Rock star that didn't have a good life when he was younger. So now he will do anything in his power to protect his woman and the people he loves!!! Damn I'm so in love with these characters!!! And I can't wait for more from the wonderful KL Shandwick!!

KL Shandwick is a talented author, that sweeps you into the story from the first page. I love this series, Flynn part 1 was the first time I had read anything by this author. Part 2, is even better!!
The story continues with Valerie helping Flynn relaunch his music career and start a new band. She does this, whilst juggling her own business. When not working, they are both developing their relationship. This creates some HOT scenes. As with life, things are not so simple and a few twist and turns, creates problems for the couple, However, with a maturity beyond their years, they deal with whatever is thrown at them.
KL Shandwick develops her characters in a way, which has you feeling the highs and lows with each character. I loved this part of Flynn's and Valerie's story and hope we will be seeing more of their story.
I highly recommend this book and series to read, another 5 star read.

Oh my god, this series is just getting better!!!! You want a HAWT rock star, you got one. You want love, there's an abundance. You want tears, you'll cry a river. You want to laugh, your sides will hurt. You want raw life K.L.Shandwicks always delivers. I've read part 1 and didn't know where book 2 would go. But she has created a 'folk' there are some many roads this story can go down. KL explores everything we 'dream' about but she also write raw life issues. Issues some authors not dare to address.
This book brings everything you want in a 5star read. Sit back, grab a wine and enjoy, your about to go on a ride, a ride that will leave you breathless and screaming, MORE, or hold on!!!!!!

I have been waiting for part two of this story and it did not disappoint. Valerie and Flynn are attempting to relaunch Flynn’s band while juggling everything else in their lives. The chemistry between the two is still as strong as ever. I think Flynn is very lucky to have Valerie. She seems to be wise beyond her years and is able to manage his career and hers at the same time. They are also trying to balance their personal lives too and their connection with each other is still sexy as ever. Not everything is perfect in their world and they must face several issues that test their relationship. This has been an incredible series to get lost in. It is so well written that I feel like I am actually part of their world. I look forward to the next chapter in their lives.

Again, another home run for Ms. Shandwick!
Book 2 picks up exactly where book 1 left off...Flynn persuading his one bandmate why Valerie would be a great manager for them. Valerie is a successful entrepreneur and has a good mind to accomplish this. She is also the love of his life and he wants her with him and to give her a chance.
To start a new band, Flynn, Craig, and Valerie hold auditions for a drummer and a bassist. She is not happy when a woman, Lexi, is hired as their bassist and almost immediately starts to flirt with Flynn!
Then one day Flynn and Valerie run into a woman Flynn knew in college. With her is a 3 year old daughter who has a very familiar face and Flynn seems to go into shock.....
I am loving this series!
