Jeff Pearson's chapbook LOCATION SERVICES uses Google's Location Services and Google Maps as a method to investigate family, history, and the emotional landscape. The speakers in these poems unpack what it might mean to be both lost and found at the same time. As one poem begins, "Sometimes Google Maps might have trouble finding where you are..." but Pearson never has difficulting in finding the emotional center of each and every poem.

Jeff Pearson takes you on a road trip of emotion and perspective. Using what we know of Google Maps he zooms us into photographic exploration of particular moments in different people’s lives. With great imaginative detail he describes love, loss, and adventure. After reading this book, I felt like I had completed an amazing journey.
