On Halloween I'll turn 21 and I'm determined to lose my virginity. My life so far has been regimented by my ultra-religious parents. All I want is to break free of their control or to be rescued. A man with mysterious golden eyes buys me a ticket to a Halloween rave. He seems familiar, like the werewolf in my dreams. This is just the man to fulfill my Halloween birthday wish. He'll bring freedom to my heart, soul and previously untouched body. But is he just a man? And will there be more to our encounter than him taking me for my first time? Will giving myself to this Alpha reveal a secret my parents have kept from me? That I'm more than human... and predestined to be with my one true mate?
This paranormal werewolf shifter romance is a full length novel with no cheating and a guaranteed happy ever after. It is high heat and for adults only.
Meh. My least favorite of this author’s work. I skimmed a lot of this book.
Since I don't normally write reviews unless I have something specific to say, here's the break down of how I rate my books...
1 star... This book was bad, so bad I may have given up and skipped to the end. I will avoid this author like the plague in the future.
2 stars... This book was not very good, and I won't be reading any more from the author.
3 stars... This book was ok, but I won't go out of my way to read more, But if I find another book by the author for under a dollar I'd pick it up.
4 stars... I really enjoyed this book and will definitely be on the look out to pick up more from the series/author.
5 stars... I loved this book! It has earned a permanent home in my collection and I'll be picking up the rest of the series and other books from the author ASAP.
Alpha werewolf who loss his mate (his queen) 444years ago to skaters but he has searched for her and has finally felt her calling to him . He follows his feelings and emotions he is picking up from her back to the place he used to live where he finds her. She will be 21in Halloween, still a virgin and dreams of a werewolf lover coming to save her. And he has, he has found a way that will let him bring back her memories, her werewolf wildness, and let him bond and mate with her for all time. If she wants it too, but her controlling parents have powers and knowledge to stop him. Can he save her?
Tabitha and Cameron are the perfect couple and destined to be together. Her parents are religious fanatics who found her in the woods when she was a baby. They tried to keep her from finding out she was a werewolf by casting a spell on her. Cameron comes along and awakens her wildness. They go to a Halloween rave to have some fun but her parents show up and try to kill Cameron. Tabitha had to fight to be free and she succeeds. They make it away from the rave and her parents to have their HEA.
It had the potential to be good. The base story was interesting but some of the choices the author made pertaining to the handling of the characters was just not something I enjoyed. The extra flourish in writing was ok in the beginning but it was so over the top that it became a distraction from the story itself and to be honest if I weren't planning to film a review for it I probably wouldn't have bothered to finish it. I can see why some folks may have enjoyed it but it just wasn't my cup of tea.
This was a free download for Halloween and as like the last one, it took me forever to finish. The story idea wasn't a bad concept. However, some of the things the heroine said just was pushing the realms of imagination for me. The main issue I had with it though was all the mistakes, doesn't seem to be any editing done on these books, not even a reread and correction by the author. All in all not a horrible read, I have the next one in the series and I'm hoping it is better.
Tabitha is going to be 21 in Halloween, but no fun parties for her. Her parents are religious zealots and control her every move. She is allowed one phone call per week, and it is timed. She has secret contraband, a thing and a dirty werewolf romance book. She has been dreaming of a werewolf lover. Cameron fits the bill, if they can only get together. He has been waiting for her over four hundred years, and this time he wants to risk it all for the ritual to finally be complete.
Confused by the title, I didn't find much in the way of Halloween but perhaps that's just me. This was a quick easy read that was okay. I tried to read past the wrong wording and made it through alright. It was a completely different take on werewolves though so I'm not quite sure how I feel about that. Overall, Casey Morgan told her story well and had characters I could like. It just took me awhile to open my mind to her theories.
This had potential and just suffers from a whiny h, poor writing and a weird time trope: "I've been searching for my mate for 444 years". And she's 21 and has no idea about the werewolf world. A super whiny 21 year old. About the time she screamed "I hate you Dad" and ran to her room crying I gave up. Yes, the parents are horrible, but I just couldn't read any further after that!
Honestly don’t know how I lasted to the end of the book it’s just not a good one and I love paranormal romance especially shifter ones this was painful to read and the end seriously was stupid. I definitely wouldn’t recommend wasting your time on it and I won’t be reading any more by this author. Some free reads should be passed on this is definitely one not even worth a free read.
This was a strange book. The story was a little different than what I am used to. I did like the main characters and did not like the antagonists. The story line was interesting but the book focused more on the carnal aspect than the story itself so left a lot of blank spots as far as I am concerned. I am glad there was an HEA at least.
This was an interesting story with a few twists and turns to keep you guessing. The plot was a variation of some stories I've read before, but the writing was good enough to keep me coming back to the book. I'm enjoying this series so far, so I'll continue with the next book in the series!
This story was slow to begin with, but became increasingly enticing to the point where I could not put it down. I feel like the ending was incomplete, I wanted- for lack of a better word- more. I wanted to know more than what I was told; it came to a point where I just couldn't put this book down. Over all, this novel deserves a high rating because it was deliciously good.
It was absolutely assume. The twist in the plot gave it an edge. It was entertaining and captivating. To wait so long for your love is so heartbreaking. It was beautifully written and the ending was so sweet and heartwarming.
First let me say that I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book, but it in no way influenced my feedback. I always leave an honest review.
This is a gr8 story. It was a quick read which I truly needed, and Casey knows just how to do that. I recommend this read. 5 Thumbs Up.
I knew those people couldn't be her parents and that something was seriously off with them. Cameron is lucky Tabitha had that rebellious spirit or they would have taken her again.
I didn't like this book. I hated the way werewolves were demonized and were able to be hurt by crosses and bible verses. Were they some type of werewolf vampire hybrids? Just reincarnated wolves huh? Please, I can not recommend this book. Just too far out for me!!
She's living a nonexistent life, she can't do anything that her parents think is evil and against their religious beliefs. He's an Alpha tempted by her smell and knows she's his mate if only he can break the curse of the years.
A werewolf who doesn't know she's one, raised by religious parents who try to save her from her destiny.. ..and you have a story. Throw in the love of her life and his rescue of her, and you have the rest of the story. Steamy romance.
Quick Halloween Read This felt more like a novella than a full length novel. I felt the story was just getting going when the epilogue started. I liked the storyline and the characters. I read this as part of the boxed set “Alpha’s Virgin”.
I love this book from the start it just got better as I read it I read it in one setting and I want more I can't Waite to get the ex stuff thank you so much for writing this book and letting us read it
I loved this story. Wish it could have been longer and more developed. But a great, fast read. Love the authors writing style. It was a well written, compelling story that grabs the readers attention right from the start. l... LOVE MUST READ !!
Usually that question preceeds me gushing about a book. That's not this. This book reads like a YA trying hard to be new adult. By the middle was just skimming trying to figure out where this book was going. Just no.
So this is a quick read, that draws you in and keeps your attention. I have to say there really wasn't much in the way of Halloween in this Halloween story though.
It was oddly repetitive and so so cheesy, the dialogue the plot the weird storyline everything was just cheesy as heck and not fun. To many tropes going on at once
I enjoyed the story but there were a lot of mistakes and it was sometimes hard to interpret meaning. I liked Cameron and Tabitha’s story it was different and unique
