"The Anonymous Guy" is a story centered upon grave atrocities faced by Kashmiri Pandits during the 90's with the growth of militancy in the valley. A devastating flood had struck Kedarnath where many pilgrims are in hope of their rescue. Dhruv, a survivor of the valley has reached Kedarnath and lay severely injured with the flood victims. He has his last wish to narrate his story to some people present over there. Fortunately, he survives and gets accompanied by a newly made friend. This new friend, moved by his story, pledges to help him to avenge the massacre of his community. To accomplish their mission, they enter militant camps in disguise. This story starts from floods in Badrinath, Dhruv, a survivor of the valley has reached Badrinath and lay severely injured with the flood victims. He has his last wish to narrate his story to some people present over there. Fortunately, he survives and gets accompanied by a newly made friend. Sumeet moved by his story, pledges to help him to avenge the massacre of his community. To accomplish their mission, they enter militant camps in disguise. There they get to know about a grand plan which had to be executed on 27 October. The plan is made to shatter the foundation of Indian state. These guys risk their lives to save the valley and hoist tricolor, shattering the dreams of terrorists. After reading this one will feel how the title suits the story, yeah that suits the story. The vocabulary is excellent and the narration of the scenes makes the readers feel as though they are watching live characters in a realistic ambiance.
The cover is well designed but it can’t say the story, but after reading we can link that cover design to the story.
The title is apt for the book and It is completely relevant and defines the story well.
The language of the book is simple, lucid and easy to understand with a good compilation of words.
Although a lengthy book but story and plot make the reader create interest on the book

27th October was the date on which a mass destruction was planned by the Jihadis. About which our main protagonist, Sumeet and another important protagonist Dhruv had discovered.
When the floods had hit Badrinath, The Army and the victims were both lucky to have Sumeet there. He was the only bridge of Positivity between victims and depression resulted breakdown.
Well it was there where he met Dhruv for the first time.
And that's when he came to know about the pain that Dhruv was going through resulting from death of his Parents because of Jihadis in Kashmir. Dhruv's story had moved the Earth beneath Sumeet and he wanted to help him somehow.
Luckily they survived the devastating floods.
And then a plan was formed to get justice for Dhruv's Parents and other's like them.
Well the story has its own grip over reader's.
And I appreciate author for bring this topic out here for everyone to read.
Some worse situations always exist but are never given words and thus are neglected.
But this book brings out one such topic and that topic is revealed with the help of One Anonymous Guy.

An Anonymous Guy is a story starts from the floods in Badrinath where a victim Sumeet helps the army and try to fill positivity among the victims. During those hard times, he meets Dhruv from Kashmir who lost his family in the hands of Jihadis. Hearing his story, Sumeet makes a plan to avenge the death of many Kashmiri Pandits. Risking their lives, Sumeet and Dhruv succeed succeed in saving many Indian lives by informing army regarding the destruction the Jihadis intended to create on 27th october. To know how Sumeet got the title of "An Anonymous Guy", one must read the story.
Review:
- The cover is attractive but the story is not as dark as the cover is intended to portray.

It was an enjoyable read, unique plot with gripping storyline.

Language and Writing Style- Language of the book is lucid. Writing Style of author is new and felt good. The descriptions are perfect and the editing is done well.
Characterization- All the characters are justified properly. I loved the way characters undergo a change in the latter half.

My Review- Book Cover and title look attractive.
"An Anonymous Guy" is the story of a guy who has faced two tragedy- Exodus of Kashmiri Hindus and Flood in Badrinath; and survived both of them. He is quietly determined to do his best in spite of the tragedy & obstacles he faces. During the Badrinath flood he meets another guy and become friends. They pledge to avenge the the massacre of the family, friends and many innocent people. In order to do that they infiltrate the militants' camp. Where they get to know their big plan. Will they be able to stop them and blow up their plan? Read the book to know more....
It is the story of struggle, courage and bravery. The writing was amazing. Author did a great job. Narration was excellent. Language is simple.
I strive to be honest so I will say that this book requires a little attention.
Books are a magical thing. They get you invested in people, worlds, scenarios and they make you care about them.
A book by the end, will leave you with Goosebumps all over your body.
I definitely enjoyed it. I would highly recommend it & give it 4/5 star.

The book is divided into 11 chapters. The story of the Kashmiri Pandits and the Flood at Badrinath make me feel like watching a movie Shikara and Kedarnath. The story is about Patronism where a brave boy wants to serve and save the nation from disasters. The story is about a main character Dhruv and a new frnd of his. Both of them risk their life and by disguise entered the military camp. The whole story was like watching a movie.
The story is amazing and breath taking at many points. The story is imaginable. The storyline is amazing and worth reading for. The book is a page turner and can be completed in a single sitting. The narration is amazing. The Language is easy and simple. The cover page is attractive and name is apt. I would love to see this story as a Web show or a movie. Highly recommended

The book actually deals with Kashmiri pandits and the flood of 2013. The protagonist of the book is an anonymous guy named Sumeet who helped everyone to survive the massive disaster. As the story progresses he finds another boy named Dhruv along with whom he tries to avenge their community. They risk their lives to save everyone.
I loved the story a lot. The narration is very lucid and the writing style is very easy to understand. The cover of the book is very thrilling which can't say much about the story but overall I loved the cover. The title of the book is simple but the story lifts all the flaws . You are going to enjoy it.

The title could have been better and so could have been the cover. On the face of it, it look likes that the book is a thriller.
I thought this book will be a roller coster ride but the genre is totally different to what it seems.
BUT there's no doubt that this book is very well written and it describes and makes you question a lot of beliefs and practices.
It's a story of a man who went through arguably two most difficult phases in his life. He survived both calamities. The exodus from Kashmir and the Badrinath floods.
This is an extraordinary story of a strong and loyal man.
Do give it a read, you won't be disappointed.
For me it's a 5 🌟 read.

An Anonymous Guy by Vineet Ahlawat is a story of a young boy named Sumeet who witnessed the disastrous flood and fron there how he reached to the Newspaper's headlines and was called "An Anonymous Guy" by the country. This story motivates the reader to stick to the welfare of the country no matter what circumstances come.
Describing a disaster is not easy but the author did this very nicely and the plot too is different from usual stories and full of patriotic love. So, to know the journey of Sumeet from a disaster survivor to the nation's hero, grab your copy and give it a read.

I recently came across this book and i couldn't wait to read it. The book revolves around the kashmiri pandit and the flood with occurred in Badrinath in 2013. As the book progresses ,we meet two characters sumit n dhrub who help the army and the flood victims. They really motivated the army n the victims in such hard time. The book kept me engaged to the story till i completely end it . The writing style of the author is really intriguing.... Highly recommended

This book is a very interesting read. Its about the flood in Kedarnath and an anonymous guy who helped everyone to survive this massive disaster. The writing style was amazing and I liked the cover as well. It is linked all to the story but the title is so simple. It can be something more interesting but overall the book was amazing. Narration was so well that I was imagining everything in front of my eyes. Recommended!!

The story revolves around a boy named Sumeet, who is a victim of the floods in Badrinath, who later meets Dhruv, who is from Kashmir and lost his family in the hands of Jihadis. After hearing his story, Sumeet plans to avenge the death of his parents and also other Kashmiri Pandits. They get to know that Jihadis are planning something on 27th October, and they both have to save the people. Will they accomplish their mission?

An anonymous guy by Vineet Ahlawat a great book to read. Story is about Kashmiri pandits and food which came in kedarnath temple in 2013. Main character of the book is a boy who is very brave and want to serve for his country. Cover if the book is beautiful and title is very interesting. Overall a great book to read and spend time.

Anonymous Guy by Vineet Ahlawat is a spectacular book. The book is all about a man namely, Sumeet. The plot of the story is very interesting and it kept me hooked till the very last page. This is a nice contemporary fiction book. According to me, it's a magnificent book and won't let you down throughout. You should just go for it without any hesitation.

An anonymous guy by Vineet Ahlawat is excellent Book.
