Lights, Camera… Action!
“Action” is a brand new collaboration by author Parker Grey and new comer Sadie Gold. The story is set in present day Hollywood, with likeable protagonists and scheming secondary characters, everyone just loves to despise. Professionally written, the narrative flows relatively smoothly with a touch of drama, placing characters in unique situations and moving the story line progressively forward. Overall “Action” is a fun, sweet, entertaining novella with a dash of steam that the average romance reader will certainly enjoy.

SPOILERS!! BEWARE!!
I read this through KU(Kindle Unlimited); I've been re-reading Parker's work lately. When I received the Newsletter of the new release of Action, I was excited about how it was going to hold up to the other Book's of Parker's. Also, was excited about the new release because she's been MIA and is another amazing author who I am a fan of. I started this book thinking that the MC Emma was going to be another great strong personality that doesn't take any S×+! From anyone. Action started okayish. I was at 65% and I really started to roll my eyes over how Nolan was described with his personality and characteristics. I understand that it's supposed to be an insta-love and face paced; but the Character's literally met NOT even 24 Hours before and they're already declaring to "loving" each other. I don't have any problems with fast paced books nor insta-love I actually enjoy them greatly. Though with how Emma's personality and characteristics were along with Nolan's characteristics and personality they didn't mesh in the good way at ALL!! I get that this is supposed to be a short, sweet and to the point of book with everything; but in my honest opinion it feels off. With the insta-love, the "big wig" Marwin's personality is nothing of how I'd imagine of a "big wig" owner of the company be. (IE: His acting like a damn Toddler throwing a hissyfit when he doesn't get his way. His way of "fighting" people than does absolutely NOTHING. Yet tried to get on camera of Nolan trying to hit him and Marwin's words were "Oh well I guess you can't always get them." Like WTF!!) The entire book seems like it was thrown together in a week if that. It's honestly messy, and the Character's are NOT strong enough for the personalities and characteristics. It's NOT the "best" book. It's lacking a lot of thing's. I do love insta-love/ OTT(Over The Top) Alpha/ and everything; this book is lacking a lot. This book is Not what I was expecting from Parker Gray with her new release. This book left me wanting more and feeling like it's missing a lot more! If you like books like this I'd skip it. I'm only giving the book a 3.5 star out of 5, due to the reasons listed above. Also the "big" fight between Nolan and Marwin it is like either the author's or the character's refused a fight scene. I thought that Nolan was going to punch the slimeball "big wig". Yet, he ONLY pushed him into a potted plant!! That had me rolling my eyes and saying WTF!! Also, I had to skip parts of the book and I was still able to actually figure out what was going on. The character's didn't have chemistry/ nor they meshed. This is a flop. I feel horrible for saying this, but it needs to be said. I am a huge fan of Parker Gray with her other work; this book is nothing like her other books. I'm beyond willing to give new authors a chance; but I think I won't be reading any of Sadie Gold's books when they're released.

Emma is a photographer, but took a job as a camera technician because she needed the money to pay bills. Nolan is a movie producer at Marwin Studios. Marwin, the studio head, asks Nolan to go see this model, Kitty, at a photo shoot to consider her for his new movie. (Although in the first chapter Jen, Emma’s friend who got her the job, said Kitty was a photographer with online followers. Not sure how you can work a real camera and also be the subject in the photo. Just because you can take pictures with your cellphone does not make you a photographer!) When Nolan gets there he doesn’t like Kitty, but he does like the “real” photographer. After the shoot he asks Emma to go with him to take photos of location sites for the movie.
Okay I liked the concept of the story line and that’s why I volunteered to read the ARC. I did not like the execution of it. Emma and Nolan knew each other for a couple of hours and had unprotected sex. (This may not be a problem for some people, but to me it is the height of stupidity!) Then there is the studio head, Marwin. He sits in his office watching porn on his computer while telling Nolan that he will use Kitty in his movie even though Nolan doesn’t want her. There was just too many “Really?” moments that happened for me to actually get into the book. There is a HEA with no cliffhanger.

Action is a stand alone romance with love, breaking rules, and revenge all wrapped together. Nolan is an extremely successful movie producer looking for the female lead for his next movie. Taking him on site to see a popular photographer, he finds himself drawn to Emma, the camera technician with serious photography skills. Emma is drawn to Nolan, they both feel the attraction and want more, but when Nolan’s boss starts making demands, are Nolan and Emma done before their relationship can even start?
This book was a quick read with intense emotions and with a bit of drama that had me turning pages until the very end. It’s fun with almost a forbidden romance feeling! Emma was confident in her abilities, even when she was down on her luck. I liked how optimistic she was through the whole book and how realistic, too. Nolan was interesting to me because he went from a bit of a lady’s man to just completely zoned into Emma and wanting a committed relationship with her. I liked reading all of their trials they needed to overcome and I enjoyed the antics between Nolan, his boss, and his actors. I liked this book and enjoyed the insta-lust and insta-love feel, too!

Emma Frankel is a mere two minutes late for her camera tech gig, but is still chewed out by the petulant and spoiled actress who was supposed to be her subject. Luckily for her, though, that the man who had caught her attention minutes after stepping onto location with his cool grey eyes was the same man who later turns out to save her bacon, the infamous movie producer Nolan Maddox.
This is an insta-love, insta-drama LA style, the only way the film-world big-wigs know how to run the show! I found this story to be a good read, although it did not seem to have the same sense of flow and development between characters as earlier Parker Grey stories I have read.

Alright, let's get into this review.
This book is fast-paced romance with the right kind of sexy scenes. As always Parker Grey and her new co-author Sadie doesn't disappoint. The chemistry is off the roof and the story compelling. Loved the whole world of Hollywood, actors, producers, photographers and how cruel it can be. The love story was epic, would have loved to see through more anticipation and a little more story at the beginning. It was great as it was but if it had a little more story it would have been awesome. That's why the four starts. So Let me finish this review saying I greatly grateful for this arc and I gave an honest review. As always will never lie.

3.5 cute and sweet stars
Yes this one is a fast-paced cute and sweet romance read. A clumsy innocent girl next door and a powerful possessive alpha male. Yup Nolan and Emma are really a cute couple. This book has interesting story, there's drama (that defeinitely got me want to slap those ugly people), although I felt it's a bit too fast and a bit rushed for my taste, not the fan of insta-love here, but I got all the feelings, the insecurities, the heartbreaking, the frustrations, and all the sweet love.
It's sweet and steamy and I read this in one sitting.
So if you're looking for a fast-paced steamy sweet read, this one is for you.

What a really lovely book this was to read, it was a lbeautiful love story. I loved Nolans character, it showed that he would protect what was his and Emma well she was lovely, she had such a great personally and a heart of gold.
Emma is a photographer and first meets Nolan at a party, it really was love at first sight for both of them. Nolan took her away with him to take some photos on site, but trouble soon comes about and it up to Nolan to protect Emma.

It was too fast paced and rushed at times and it thereby missed some things on the way to the HEA. I would have liked more chemistry between the main characters. Hmm. This story, while interesting plot, didn’t draw me in. I kept putting it down till now when I decide to get it over with. It dragged in some places. Nolan is great for making a way for Emma to have her dreams. Emma, despite her artistic talent, felt incomplete. Like there should be more to her.
It had a good start, but somewhere in the middle... it lost me. I think this story is longer than her usual...?

Loved It!
Parker and Sadie have written a fantastic book! I loved it! I loved Emma and Nolan’s story! It was a complex, emotional, fast paced, hot, sexy read! I couldn’t put it down! Action was a wonderful first book from Parker and Sadie! I look forward to reading more from them!

This was a quick, well paced, entertaining read. The characters fell for each other almost instantly but the storyline is packed with drama and emotion. The H needed a smack over the head at times and the h needed to stand up for herself a bit more. But, this plot worked really well. I really enjoyed this. Definitely a recommended read.

I enjoyed this book but not as much as others. I found the story and sex good, descriptive and definitely had a sense of secrecy which was a new take really.
I enjoyed how he handled the story and fought for them to be together, I’m very happy there isn’t any tears or heartbreak here. Just spice.

Nolan and Emma are quick in falling hard for each other, intense and determined. The authors give us enough steam and drama to keep this story flowing quickly and easily.

A fast easy read.
This was a fast and easy read. The characters were likable and their story had good flow. There was just the right amount of heat that will keep you entertained, overall an enjoyable story.

Drama, intensity and passion are brought together into a fun and entertaining read. Emma and Nolan have great chemistry and their interactions are steamy! This is a very enjoyable romance. This is my totally voluntary and completely truthful review.

When I started reading I couldn't put it down. Parker Grey is magnifysent and amazing writer.I cannot wait to read more of there books.Keep up the great work.You should definitely read this book.Can't wait for the next book.

This story had it all for me. Lots of action, fun, steamy, and full of emotions. Emma and Nolan have such an instant attraction to one another. They did everything to stay with one another. This was a must read with amazing characters and a fantastic storyline.

Sweet!
This is a sweet and fast paced romance filled with thrilling moments and enjoyable characters. But it should, in my opinion, been better developed, especially the interaction between the protagonists.

This was a solid three star insta-love read until the last 25% and then it seems like the authors just wanted to finish it. It felt rushed and a bit ridiculous. It was easy to get through, though.

**I received this ARC in exchange for an honest voluntary review** This story had a lot of potential but it just cut way too many corners & rushed! Also don't feel the title necessarily matches the story. Makes it seem like the hero is in an action movie rather than being a producer. Kinda wish I didn't pick this one up :/
