***NEW COVER!!!*** Ce'Anna and her husband, Trent, are nearing their sixth anniversary of marriage. Ever since they said 'I do', their romance was like a whirlwind. That is, until Ce'Anna's first secret. Then her second. Life is going crazy, and things are starting to 'get real'. Tensions continue to rise, until Ce'Anna is placed in a situation where she has to make a choice between the one she truly loves, and the one she's not sure about.
This quick Read had me in my feelings. The main character had a lot going on. I would've liked to know more about her reasons for doing what she did. However, the book was a page turner that left me shaking my head.
Uhhh it’s probably not a good idea to have a husband, a boyfriend & a side dude right? I mean what can go wrong.. Ce’Anna was the true definition of self sabotage, and I truly think she was allergic to making good decisions & simply being happy! Nothing was enough, nobody was enough, but she quickly learned sometimes you should just be happy with what you have, as she began to loose everyone she cared for. Good quick read!
This was a cute short read, CeAnna being messy gets caught up and quickly! I didn't like the way she moved she could've been considerate to her girlfriend..... Smh Short n messy. Cee please take heed...... one man is hard enough to deal with, imagine 3! 😑 lol
Ce'Anna had too much going on for a married woman. Didn't care for her at all. She was wrong on so many levels. I felt sad for Trent for he seemed like a great husband. Storyline kept me reading to see how this one would end. Good, quick read.
Three stars because this book was predictable on so many levels and didn’t challenge me in any way. Readers love when authors make us think, but this book didn’t have that effect on me. We all know nothing good could ever come from having 3 men at the same time. The writing style is what kept me reading til the end, but nothing spectacular happens. However, it was a decent read I could finish in 20 minutes.
Read this one because the main character makes an appearance in another book and I wanted to know her backstory. Very messy and interesting. So much was covered in such a short amount of pages.
Omg I feel asleep and when I woke up I read the rest. This book was fast pace and really good. It reminded me of real life when you want your can’t and eat it too. Ce’Anna had it all and blew by trying to be sneaky and it all backfired i her face and she lost her husband in the process by trying to be a THOT. She list her friends she lost it all. She should have just stuck with her husband because the grass and always greener on the other side.
I got through this book in less than an hour. Worth the read! The writing was good and some of the characters felt 3-dimensional even in such a short piece of work. Can't wait to read more from Tanisha!
I was hooked from the first few paragraphs! Can’t wait to read the other books by Tanisha to see if any of the characters make appearances. I need to know what happens next!
Tanisha Stewart, yet again brings to light a fascinating read. From start to finish I was captivated in this entangled relationship drama. The characters seemed so real and I could hardly wait to see the outcome. 6 lives, 3 men, 1 woman, and the only decision...I recommend to anyone who loves a breath taker, a "no" you didn't, a read that is going to make you mad, angry, and "Good" for you type of feeling. I don't want to spoil it and I'm not a violent person, but I loved it when Natasha kicked Ce'Anna's behind!! Thank you!!!
This story takes off like a horse at the races! Each character played a pivotal role in the story. I thoroughly enjoyed this quick read. The characters were well developed and interesting. This was definitely a page turner. It was a real portrayal of a person living a secret life, with multiple relationships. I also enjoyed how the author censored the language in the book for those who prefer a clean read! I am looking forward to reading more from this author and definitely interested to see if this story will be continued!!!
Wow, talk about not seeing the forest for the trees. Ce'Anna had it all...a handsome, LOYAL, loving, hardworking, trusting and understanding husband but she had to have a boyfriend and a side piece?!?! Let's face it Ce'Anna was greedy, selfish and nasty! She didn't love either one of them... She loved the temporary high being with each of them brought. Good read.
Great quick read. Enjoyed the plot and conclusion. Finally a woman who is having her cake and eating it too, for a lil while anyway. Would read another book by the author.
I give it three stars for keeping my attention for the hour it took to read on my way to work 🤣 this woman is a mess. That's all I have to say. But I'm willing to read more of these just for the sake of it. Nothing to write home about but .. it was fun in a car crash kind of way.
The way this story is broken down there is still some unanswered questions. Why can't Ce'Anna be faithful ? Will there be a book that brings everything together ?
It was so well written that I would have liked it to be longer. If you're looking for a scandalous book that is relatively clean in nature, this would be that. I thought it was going to be full of sex, which I'm completely fine with by the way LOL, but it was a clean but scandalous read. I would have enjoyed learning more about what was going on in her head to make her make these horrible life choices. There has to be something deeper somewhere that was causing this. Also I would have rather it had a different title because the way the men were introduced would have definitely shocked me had I not known that she was going to have all these... people in her life in that manner LOL but either way, this novelette was quick and a nice palate cleanser between longer novels.
Well, dang gurlll. …Hate the plahette with no game 🤬🥴🤷🏾♀️‼️ Cheating ain’t our bailiwick (note always exceptions to this theory). Nonetheless, women are nurturer’s by natural design. Juggling three men just ain’t cool. So, of course she got busted. What did you expect⁉️I wish though, there was some context (other than, I’m assuming unresolved daddy issues🤷🏾♀️🥴) to Ce’Anna’s recklessness, sexual addiction & or willful promiscuity. WITAH⁉️At minimum, six lives which are directly associated with Ce’Anna are potentially at risk because of her reckless behavior🤬‼️I can’t wait for a plausible explanation for “A Husband, A Boyfriend & a Side Dude” 📝…please pretell🥴⁉️
I get a few of us live in that “why choose” era but our good sis Ce’Anna was just a straight up “garden tool.” Now you had Trent (hubby) that giving his all but that’s not good enough. Xae (side piece) that’s aware of how things could be but they’re both beyond wrong cause he’s with her bestie like wtf 🤬 then there’s poor Kam that wanted to be loved by her that he settled in the end! She didn’t quit til the well was dry! This is what we bash men for she better be glad she got her a new man & a healthy baby cause she could’ve been put in the ground!
Girl Ce’Anna basically played in everybody’s face and still got a positive life in the end 😑 Trent should have got back with her cheated on her, and then divorced. Her and Camron should have dropped her to lol I’m just saying, she literally cheated on a good husband, feel less than, and broke up a friendship. All for her to end up with a beautiful son, some money from the house, being sold, and still having a man that’s gonna treat her like she did absolutely nothing wrong.
This was the second time that I read a book by this author and she did not disappoint! This book was so good and unpredictable that I did not see the ending coming. I think the female main character got what was coming to her in the end. I wanted there to be a happy ending but it turned out to be bittersweet for everyone involved. I would love to read a spin-off of what happened with her best friends in another book
Though this book was a very quick read, I have to say it was a good read. Now ol’ girl was snake ass bish for what she did to Trent. But Natasha’s man is not innocent either. I wonder if he told what it is was but he still decided to deal with him. With hopes that he would see her as his girlfriend 🤔. I would have loved to read the backstory on how they met. Plus why Rachel near his house? Because I am wondering if she was messing with him too.
