You know those little girls who dress up as Disney princesses in the bright, shimmery costumes and dream about their prince rescuing them? That was never me. In this story, it's the witch who saves the prince. Ever since I joined the Wicked Society, my tarot readings are always about sacrifice for the greater good and martyrdom. In other words, any day now I’m going to lose something or someone I love. Evidently, my spirit guides are the ride or die types. For years, I’ve asked the cards the same question about my crush. Will Tate Winthrop fall in love with me? The answer is always someday. As in someday Tate will love me back. Someday there won’t be a group of witches using dark magic to destroy our coven. Someday I’ll stop having the same dream about a handsome prince with long, blond dreadlocks kissing a woman wearing a sparkly, poofy ball gown. Someday my witch will come.
This is book two in the Wicked Society series of interconnected lighthearted paranormal romances with a cozy mystery twist.

USA Today Bestselling author Daisy Prescott lives in a real life Stars Hollow in the Boston suburbs with her husband and an indeterminate number of imaginary housegoats. When not writing about people falling in love, she can be found traveling, gardening, baking, and reading a good book.
Her series include: Love with Altitude, Modern Love Stories, Wingmen and Bewitched.
If we had to face off in hand-to-hand combat, I know I could take her. I have at least four or five inches on her in height and she’s all spindly where I’m built like a German beer calendar girl. In other words, she better not come at me unless she wants the bratwurst. Or something. And I know she can’t handle my schnitzel.
I might look like a freewheeling hipster, but beneath all of this is the heart of an old man who carries hard candy in his cardigan’s pockets and enjoys an early dinner hour.
My Review:
I don’t often read paranormal as I am far too lazy for all the world-building and endless rules, but I don’t seem to mind the extra work required to follow Daisy Prescott’s Wicked Society – a super secret supernatural society of generations of witches, which seems to include much of the movers and shakers and Who’s Who of Boston society. This installment has them on a caper for stolen witch bones and the rather gruesome trick for their use – eww. Family curses, a ghost, and a constipated love life were front and center. The writing was laced with levity, banter, Sam-isms, and her humorous inner musings.

Someday My Witch Will Come picks up after the events of the first novella. Samantha, Tate, Madison and Adam are still trying to discover how the anonymous group of bad witches are going to go about destroying the coven. At the same time, Tate has decided to let Sam know that her intense feelings for him are not unknown and are definitely reciprocated. Of course, nothing is ever simple in the world of witch craft, so there's not going to be an immediate happily ever after.
I adore Sam, she is such a sweetheart. She is still trying to figure out her place in their little circle of four. I honestly thought she would get annoying with her puppy love over Tate but it fit her personality and worked. Tate is charming but I didn't fall for him like our leading lady, his vagueness and inability to be upfront with Sam was disappointing.
Over all, Someday My Witch Will come by Daisy Prescott is a fast sweet novella, set in a world of magic, that will leave you feeling light and happy.

"Fighting against evil takes priority over a lovesick heart. Good needs to triumph over evil more than I need Tate to kiss me."
“You can’t disappoint me. All I ask is that you forgive me.”
Samantha always felt like an outsider in the Witch world, and now part of it, in this quest to protect the coven and mostly to find out who’s behind all the threats. The foursome, with Madison and her boyfriend, Andrew and Tate, the guy she crushed on like forever were one step closer to solve the mystery.
In this third installment, we focused on Tate and Sam’s story. Unrequited love, lusting from afar, and yes there was tons of swooning and sighing involved… I totally got it.
But appearances could be deceiving at times and Sam was learning how to trust her instincts and go for it. She was pretty hilarious at times, with her uncensored thoughts and just trying to maintain a sense of reason when Tate was around. But she couldn’t fool anyone with that…
Tate was a mystery to me. From blue royalty among the powerful witches, with his laid back personality and abilities as an Empath, it could be hard to see the truth about his feelings. As a black sheep of the family, from his looks to his lifestyle, he was a character I could easily be attached to.
Throughout their quest, Sam and Tate became closer and lines were going to be blurred. That short story kept me captivated until the end. I followed this group of friends since the beginning and I could sense that Sam and Tate were the real deal, not without some hardships to overcome in their way.
Once again the magic was operating and this story with a twist of mystery and a hint of paranormal was interesting and entertaining. The group dynamic was really good and the chemistry between these two just undeniable. Throwing a bit of romance in the air and it created such an amazing spell that would charm readers who have read the previous books.
Someday, Sam’s Witch will come and when it happens, the princess will find her way without being saved by the prince. To find her own way into the world. Hopefully the next one is coming soon, because jeez I need answers!!!

It’s almost Halloween so what better group to spend some time with than our favorite witchy friends, Madison, Andrew, Tate, and Sam! This story picks up pretty much where Get Witch Quick leaves off with our group still trying to figure out the secret of the book they found and who is behind all the dark magic lately. Except, this is the first time that Sam is our narrator! I’ve enjoyed Sam’s character since we first met her as Madison’s best friend in the Bewitched series so it was great to finally hear from her. She’s been crushing on Tate Winthrop since we first met her and we finally got to see if there was a chance for a relationship between them. Tate’s always been an interesting character to me and I enjoyed learning more about him. He and Sam were very sweet together! Plus we also got to see plenty of Madison and Andrew, which is always fun! There were some breakthroughs in unraveling this mystery they are dealing with but there is still plenty left to figure out and I’m looking forward to the next Wicked Society book to see what happens next!
Somehow I read this without reading book one, I hate it when that happens. I know they say witches are out to do bad things to them, but there is absolutely no evidence of that in this book. It is a really short read with the h accepting that she is witch enough to be part of this group. She did almost every magical thing in this book, except opening the grave, so I don't know why she felt this way. Then there was the quick romance... and bod da bing… it was over.

The Wicked Society series continues with this wickedly romantic story.
Sam is head over heels for Tate. She’s harbored feelings for him for some time, but she’s never acted on them. Now they’re together for a whole summer, working in close quarters at the Wicked Society, and spending all kinds of time with one another.
I loved everything about this story. Sam is quirky and fun, and Tate leaves her tongue tied and red in the face, and it’s so sweet! The more time they spend together the more chemistry there is between them. I was rooting for them to get together when I read the first book, even though it didn’t address their attraction a whole lot.
I loved the dance these two did. It was obvious that they both liked each other, and their banter was a clever way to disguise flirting at times. They didn’t fool anyone around them though.
The mystery and magic continue in this story. The gang is working hard to figure out what happened with Madison’s ancestors and how things fit together. Alice the ghost is back in the story and there’s all kinds of suspense and excitement captured in the pages. Prescott does an amazing job of capturing the sweetness and romance in this story, while still giving readers a healthy dose of nail-biting action.
This book is part of a series and should be read in order with the other ones.
Someday My Witch Will Come is the second installment of the Wicked Society and is the story of Sam and Tate. I l-o-v-e-d this book so much, I sat down and read it in 90 minutes. Learning about Sam and Tate’s friendship was sweet and addictive, hence why I couldn’t put it down. The book picks up at the Wicked Society during the summer ‘internship’ of Sam, Tate, Madison and Andrew. The group is still trying to determine how the witches practicing dark magic will attempt to destroy their coven. Sam feels like somewhat of an outsider because she’s not a ‘real’ witch and is wrestling with why she is even a part of the coven and whether or not she should just try to get her yearly lifeguarding job back home and calling it a day with the society. Sam is a doll (but don’t call her that) and I feel connected to her down to my bones with her love of murder podcasts and creative swear words. Her love for Tate is evident from the beginning of the book and it’s sweet to see him tentatively show his feelings towards her are the same. Tate’s empathy and power came with a price, as we learn later in the story, but with the support of Sam he’s able to realize some things are stronger than magic. Daisy did an amazing job with the imagery and character description in this book, particularly with Tate. I could picture him tying back his dreadlocks and how hot he MUST have looked in that tuxedo at the party. Everyone’s favorite ghost Alice had a semi-starring role in this installment, and I loved how cheeky and playful she was at the cemetery, and also how she did her part in making sure Tate told Sam the truth about his secret. I can’t wait for the third book in the Wicked Society series to drop at the end of this month! Loved this book so, so much!
The wildly charming 2nd book in the Wicked Society series finally features that undeniable chemistry between Tate and Sam. These two have been dancing around each other for the past few years and now that they are together as interns in Boston for the summer, maybe, just maybe they can get a chance at love just like their besties Andrew and Madison.
Told in Sam's POV, all things wicked and magical are once again at the forefront as our witchy foursome is trying to decipher the whys and hows of Madison's ancestors and the mystery surrounding Alice, the ghost. Daisy Prescott beautifully brings us back into the fold as more is uncovered just as Sam and Tate begin to get closer. I love how they have this sweet banter that masks their true feelings. And I'm thrilled Tate went against all better judgement and decided to make Sam his own!! Sweet Lord of the Dance, these two are just the cutest.
Prescott as usual, does her research and I find myself learning more and more about the otherworldly events that may or may not actually occur. But the Author's way with words has made this reader a believer especially when all pertaining to love and the power it will always have.
For that little bit of respite in between all the heavy the real world can put upon us, grab Someday My Witch Will Come and get lost in Daisy Prescott's unique brand of magic. You'll be very glad you did.
I should have read the first book in the series before beginning this one. I felt like I would have a better connection with the series if I had picked up the first book. Each book focuses on a different couple, but the main plot is the same and I wished I had known sooner what was going on. You will allow me to use a horrible pun and say that I was bewitched and now I want to know more about the series and Alice the ghost. I will keep an eye on the third book because things are very interesting and I want to see what direction the investigation is going to take.
I wish I could say much about the main couple, but the book was too short for them to have a grand romance. Sam was a good character and she had a certain charm. She went for the guy and that got her points in my book. Tate is not in the picture as much as I would have liked him to be and I don't feel like I got to know him much. He was a nice man and he has family secrets that haunt him and prevent him from entering a relationship with Sam. You will find out more about that when you read the book.
The story was cute and I liked it. This world seemed interesting and I hope I will get a chance to explore it more. I would recommend the book, but I would suggest to picking book 1 first.
Another fabulous novella from Daisy Prescott! I’ve been anxiously awaiting this next installment of the Wicked Society and it did not disappoint.
I’ve been a huge Sam fan from way back when. She’s hilarious with her “swearing” and her quirkiness and I adore the relationship her and Madison have. So I was thrilled that we were getting a book from her POV.
Tate has always been a bit of mystery, despite his easy-going laidback ways. We get to see more of him in this book, so much more! I love him even more now.
There’s always been something there between Sam and Tate, but neither of them has acted on it. Sam thinks her feelings are one-sided, while Tate has other reasons, which you’ll find out upon reading. But Sam finally just says eff it and goes for it! Go, girl!!! LOL!!!
Alice is back! And she’s the best! I want her to be my ghost bestie. The graveyard scene is epic.
As this is a novella, it is a quick read, but it’s packed full of mystery and intrigue and hilarity. It answers some questions you were left with after reading book 1, but it leaves you with new questions that will have you anxiously awaiting book 3.
All things magical are happening around Tate, Sam, Madison and Andrew. The foursome are interning in Boston, but they are quickly uncovering how deep the magic surrounding their families is wound. The secrets surrounding Madison’s ancestors lead the foursome into more sticky situations. Lucky for them, Alice (the ghost) is still around to lend a helping hand.
What transpires in this journey is just how connected Sam and Tate actually are. The duo begins to show their true colors where the other is concern. Revealing a secret that Tate is harboring from his family’s lineage. As the mysteries unfold surrounding the magic that is threatening to rain darkness on everything magical, this group of friends proves that there is nothing more devoted than a friend.
Someday My Witch Will Come is the second book in the Wicked Society series. It is a fast paced novella that exudes romance while keeping the magical elements swirling throughout the tale. Tate and Sam have had feelings for each other for a while, but now readers will discover what stands in their way. This is another great addition to Daisy Prescott’s ‘witchy’ collection. Make sure you add it to your collection!
In my humble opinion, Daisy Prescott is one of the most underrated authors out there. Her books are impeccably written with the perfect blend of humor and emotion to captivate your heart and mind.
Someday My Witch Will Come is bloody brilliant! It's the second book in the Wicked Society series - yes, they must be read in order - and it's Tate and Sam's story. Told from Sam's POV, I was rooting for them to hook up the whole time. I love Sam and her Sam-isms and wit, and Tate, ahhh, I fell head over heels in love with him! His humor is on point too and I love how protective he is of Sam.
Do yourself a favor and read this series. Prescott's humor sparkles especially in the graveyard scene - I was crying from laughing so hard - and the storyline is fun and fascinating. I can't wait for the last book in the series!
3.5 stars. This was a fun addition to this series! This book is Tate and Sam/Samantha's book. Tate and Sam are the best friends of Madison and Andrew from the first book in the series. Sam has been friends with and had a crush on Tate for a few years. Now, this group of four witches are working as interns at the Wicked Society researching Salem witches and some recent mysterious happenings. Tate and Sam's feelings come to the surface as the spend time together investigating.
This book was a quick, easy read. I liked Tate and Sam together. The ongoing series story arc and mystery is fun, suspenseful and entertaining. This series does feel very PG/YA paranormal romance, blended with cozy mystery, but I still really enjoy it. I look forward to more from this series and Daisy Prescott in the future!
The gang are settled in at their internships at the society in Boston and the moment they have uncovered more question instead of answers regarding the black book. What they do know is this book has the attention of Andrews Father to the point that he kidnapped Madison and ended up in the hospital because it was thought he acquired the black book. Sam is questioning if she really belongs at the society. Alice is leading the group to grave yards showing them bones being stolen holds clues to the black book. Sam has a disturbing dream about her and Tate. Things are getting interesting and with the help of Sam's card readings they are getting close to cracking the code of the Book they found with the help of Madison and the ghost. Be prepared for lots of twist and turns and see if love really blooms between Tate and Sam.
Prescott has been a long standing favorite of mine. When she started to write a cute series about young witches in Salem, I didn't question it and happily began reading. Well, I am entranced once again with Madison, Andrew, Tate and Sam. Tate, with his blonde dreadlocks and silver spoon youth, seems like a one dimensional party boy. However, Sam has crushed on this boy for awhile and is finally peeling his layers like an onion. While the crew is "interning" and finally deciphering the black book, Sam and Tate are letting emotions fly. If you haven't read the first one you might be a bit confused about what the kids are doing. It's worth a read and both are the best way to spend an evening or two. My review was voluntarily written after after an early copy.
This is the second book in the series and as with the 1st book.....I thought it was AMAZING! In book 1, we saw how Madison & Andrew get together. In this book we see how Sam(Samantha) and Tate become a couple. These couples stories are so fun to read! Tate is ALL kinds of yummy...LOL And I just adore how Sam swears....or doesn't swear....so bloody cute & funny! I have to yet to read a book by Daisy Prescott that doesn't knock my socks off!! I always have such a fondness for the characters she writes, I ALWAYS fall for the guy...LOL The sense of humor that Daisy includes in her stories make them some of the best written stories I have ever read!
I'm so glad to get more on Sam and Tate. I have really been looking forward to this story for several reasons. One, I had so many questions about Tate and his gifts. Two, Sam is hilarious, especially her spectacular "swearing." Three, the mystery going on in the series is really interesting. I got what I wanted in all three categories. Of course, now I have new questions because things aren't resolved yet. But yay that Sam and Tate have a romance going. And I loved the humor in here -- Alice is my favorite ghost character. I can't wait for the next installment!
Sam and Tate’s story was fantastic! A short, sweet, humorous story that will give you all the feels! Only Daisy Prescott could turn a kiss in a cemetery into a romantic work of art! If you enjoy stories woven with spells, magic, mystery and witches who will make you swoon, I strongly recommend giving these books a read. My favourite quote from this book is “...When you love someone, you should tell them. Because words hold power and there is no greater power than love.” Because the power of love is magical, isn’t it?!
A great read but it just felt that it cut off in the middle of the story (the fact that it was only 88% of the page count didn't help). Great to see how the characters are growing into their roles . They have settled into the Society and research. She still feels that she is in the Society under false pretences but is doing what she can to decipher the black book they managed to find. Will this get them along any further? Where is Alice buried? Why are the Others taking the bones? What is the secret that Tate is hiding? Can she break it?
Holy fudge sticks, as Sam would say. I love how this book focuses on Sam and Tate. Not only their complicated relationship, but Sams in their group. She gets real confirmation that she is a witch! I love how our favorite ghost, Alice, continues to help. I laughed so hard when she decided to intervene between Tate Sam. The slow burn between Tate and Sam worked so perfectly. I cannot wait to see how we find Alice’s story.
I NEED more Daisy!!!

Witches, spells, ghosts and mysteries all combined with romance. Someday My Witch May Come is just as fun, sweet and full of intrigue as all the other Bewitched and Wicked Society stories before. Daisy Prescott weaves history and the now so well. Told from Samantha’s pov, this story is all about want and hope. Sam and Tate keep dancing around their attraction, but Tate is holding back. Between that and wanting to learn more about their research, it kept me turning pages.
I love this series by Daisy Prescott. It started in the Bewitched series and has continued with the Wicked Society series. I’m really looking forward to the next book in the series that’s due out in 2 more weeks - Four Witches and a Funeral.
Sam and Tate have been favorites of mine. Samantha doesn’t think she has any witchy abilities and has had a crush on Tate forever. Tate is an empath and Sam is sure that he can feel her feelings. I’m glad it’s finally time for their story!
Another fun installment in the Wicked Society series!
I liked getting the chance to see events from Sam's perspective. Especially as many details about Tate, the registry book, and the evil magic being planned are revealed.
The author does a great job building the world of magic and mystery and making you invested in the characters and story.
Thank you to the author for providing an ARC for an honest review.
I loved absolutely LOVED Tate’s and Sam’s story! I’m so happy the girl was her own savior as well as his!
This story answered questions, discovered more and all and all it’s the climax before the crap hits the fan and mysteries are solved! I can’t wait to see what lies in store for these four! Each book is jam packed so far with laughter, mystery, angst and lots of love!
Who wouldn’t love the story of a may be witch and the man she falls in love with set against the background of Massachusetts witchlore and a currently magical mystery? From one Sam to another, this book is a great continuation of the tale, and I adore the Samisms sprinkled throughout. Tate’s pretty amazing too. Don’t discount him. Grab this book, some Halloween candy, and treat yourself!
This picks up shortly after the previous book in the series. Except this time we get more Sam and Tate. We get a little more romance than mystery this time, and we have a ton of questions that need answers.
I love the continuity in this series. I'm anxious to find out what Alice has to do with it all ☺
Finally reading from Sam's point of view!! This novella has answered some questions, has me seeking answers to more questions, gave me a feel-good feel and has me chomping at the bit for the next novella. The mystery that lingers around this coven has me intrigued. I can't wait for the next novella!!!
Once again, I am pulled into the world of witches. We are finally getting some back story on Tate and seeing his relationship with Sam bloom. Such a fun read. I can't wait for the next installment to this series.
I was provided an ARC for this book. This was a great continuation t0 the Bewitched series. I really enjoyed it and look forward to the next book in this series. I recommend this author, this book and this series.
