Okay so I entered the journey of this book with an open mind and did not know what to expect from the new author. What I wasn't expecting was to have my mind blown away! I absolutely loved the story and how real the book felt. It isn't your typical fairytale romance story. This story has some baby 🚼momma drama, some momma issues, blended family situation and a lot of sexiness (I want to meet Xavier's crew lol). Now keeping it real, the book is long winded(which I love). The author goes into a lot of details and back story. The only things that I cringed at was the use of their full government name consistently throughout the book and how Makayla immediately went in on Xavier's mom without allowing her to speak. My absolute favorite part of the book was when Makayla's mom gave it to Xavier's mom. It reminded me so much of one of my favorite cousins with the same name.
