Bramseth is an author's author. She loves a good story, no matter what genre it encompasses. I can totally relate. White Dog is a tale about life at it's most heartbreaking. Love at it's most chaotic and hope on the cusp of despair. Clay is coping with an uncertain future and Coraleigh is dealing with a new kind of normal. Along the way, we encounter old friends, new friends and a hint of something more. This rainy day read packs a lot of living in a small bundle.

White Dog by Jennifer Bramseth
Bourbonland Short Stories and Novellas #6

I love the way the author uses the shorter stories to keep us posted on various characters in the series. In this one we find out what good friends Milla and Leo are to both Clay London and Coraleigh, find out a bit about Candace and Ting with the idea they will be getting a HEA eventually, hear more about Guy Vansant and are left HOPING that Coraleigh and Clay may eventually manage to get their HEA, too, although knowing the two of them they could still mess things up again if they are not careful. I love this author’s writing and look forward to her next book as soon as it is out.

Thank you to the author for the ARC – This is my honest review.

Clay and Corrie are an amazing couple that isn’t a couple. This is a fabulous short story that gives us more insight into these two as the deal with the daily challenge’s in their worlds. Clay is dealing with a false imprisonment while Corrie is coping with her father’s declining health. To experience the depth of the love they feel for each other but can’t let the world know about is sometimes sad. Their father’s feud drives so many of the choices they make. I really want their full novel now after getting this amazing glimpse into their story. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.

Yippee!!!! The beginning/continuation of a story most people familiar with Bourbonland stories have been waiting for - Corrie and Clay. This story does take place between the last chapter and the epilogue of “Executive Liaisons”. You find out a little more of Corrie and Clay’s past....and present. This is a quick, fast read that will keep you up to date with the Bourbonland “family”

I have had the honor of an advance copy, to read for an honest review. My review is listed above, but do yourself a favor and read the Bourbonland series in order. You will get so much more out of it.

The first thing I can say about this story is...FINALLY...there has not been a more satisfying story I have read than this one in quite some time. Having followed their history through the series, I have been witness to the trials and tribulations of the relationship of Clay and Corrie. Not wanting to give away the most rewarding parts of the story, I can only say that the buildup for the couple’s reunion over several stories has only whet my desire for them to one day reach their HEA.

This ARC book was complimentary, provided by the author. I am voluntarily providing my honest review.

Leave it to Jennifer Bramseth to have Clay and Corrie clear up some very important issues between themselves BUT still have some major complications. She keeps me on the edge of my seat with these two characters. I’m not complaining, l love all the drama and intrigue that’s going on. The Bourbonland series is one of my favorites.

Ahhhhhh-this book!!!! Short but oh so perfect! Corrie and Clay have been entwined in each others lives for as long as they've known each other- some good, some bad. This book however had me clutching at my imaginary pearls! This might just be the most important novella in all of Bourbonland

Jennifer Bramseth always writes her characters to give the readers an intimate look into their lives. The tenor of her writing flows lazily, sweet and smooth like a great drink of Kentucky Bourbon. These novellas are all intertwined and this one focused on getting Corrie and Clay back on track with their relationship. It is not smooth sailing because they still have family issues to overcome. Politics and family intertwine heavily in the town and state and forces the characters to make hard choices in their relationships.
