Drinking With Death

Rate this book
Grim Reapers. Saving lives. Lessons in love.

For some, it's a fictitious world, but for Debra's friend, it will become her life.

For once, nothing is going right in her world, but she always has her friend to help her, right?

Right?

Ushering souls into the afterlife was something she scoffed at…until it became all too real.

Now she is attracting men like she is one of the seven sins.

Can she deal with her business having unexpected troubles, help others before Death takes them, and have a love life when one wasn't expected?

Or will becoming Death take it all away?

Grab a glass of wine and read this story. Just be careful when taking a sip since the laughs can be dangerous!

May I have a glass of the red, please?

“Drinking With Death” is a fantastic continuation of the story that started with “When Death Became A Woman.” You’ll laugh; you’ll cry; you’ll feel the same overwhelming anxiety that Charity, our new reaper, deals with on a daily basis. You’ll also celebrate her successes.

Fictional twists aside, this story portrays a reality that all too many of us experience every day, while delivering an uplifting message of hope and positivity.

Highly recommended!

An excellent 2nd book

Another excellent story about death and lessons learnt. I like that whilst we see the same basic things happening, we see Charity have her own experiences and grows with lessons she needed. And I was right in who I thought would be the next Death! How long until book 3 is out?

Interesting part two.

I love the fact that “death”, really being a reaper can be passed from person to person. Add to that a little wine and romance, Yes Please. Though not as good as the first in the series this second installment was still worth the read. If being death helps you find out more about yourself and what you need in life sign me up.

Book 2 is just as fun as Book 1. I love how the author has turned these independent business women into much better and even more confident women. Charity is OCD in all aspects of her life and when her best friend, Debra, hands her the role of Death, living takes on a whole new meaning. Fun and lighthearted story.

Wonderfully entertaining

I had my doubts about a second book, I mean really, where could the author go with this concept? Well it turns out to be some fun places! There’s a bit of repetition with the swooning young men but it’s handled quickly and sweetly and the MC learns and grows through her misadventures without it being preachy. Definitely worth the read.

Fascinating

Book two continues the original plotline with the next character and is just as smooth. Looking forward to reading the next one

Another GREAT Installment in a new series.

Charity seems to handle being Death a lot better than Debra did, but reading about her trials and her journey was amazing!

A repeat of the first book

To similar to the first book,I got half way through and stopped.
I tried to hold on for the excitement, but it never appeared.

Interesting premise

This was better than the first effort. I can only hope the author continues the trend. Looking forward to her next effort.

Entertaining

I have really enjoyed this series. The first one was good enough for me to want more and this second one was just as satisfying.
