Bert’s excruciating holiday goes from bad to worse when she stumbles upon a body, the murder of which seems to be somehow oddly connected to her visit to the dentist and she begins to wonder what sort of fiend is running around the streets of Culver's Hood this Halloween. Will she be able put together the clues and solve the case, or will she be next to ‘donate’ blood?

A wonderful Halloween book by a terrific author. Bert discovers a body of someone she knows while at the carnival. This book is a wonderful read.

A Halloween charity fair is happening in town and Bert is donating pies. The last thing she expects to find is a dead body. Harry of course investigates and with Bert’s help finds the murderer.

Great descriptions of the fair, the imagery was so real I closed my eyes several times and could see the events occurring.

Another great book by a wonderful author. Bert has become one of my favorite characters. You never know what will happen next. I, also, think that Wyn is a great addition for her and Shiv. I cannot wait to see what happens next.

Great!

This is a fun book in a great series! Once again Bert finds herself tangled up in a murder, when she discovers the body of her dentist. Can she help Harry find the killer? Great story line and awesome characters make this a great read.

Another great story

Carolyn Hunter never disappoints. Great writing and story. Characters are fun and keep you in the story. Setting is different than other books which is great.

I want to read the book

A book about a dentist killer sounds good. And this book was just as good. I just love Bert and her pies. And I hope her and Harry get together. Hint Hint
