Juliana
I made a mistake.
And it wasn't going to Paris for the semester.
It was waiting until I had one foot out the door to tell Mitch Jacobs I was leaving.
I never expected him to shatter my heart in retribution.
After all the distance, the remnants of our fight still linger. The hole he left behind still bleeds.
Now I'm back...and there's no way I'll be able avoid him.

Mitch
I made a mistake.
Lost my temper. Said things I'm not sure I really meant.
And in the process, I lost the person who matters most along with the future we'd planned.
I've had four months to figure out what to say to her when she gets home. Four months to face the dreams I destroyed.
Now she's back...and she isn't alone.

If you have read the first two books in the Paths to love series you know that Mitch is Stone's older married brother. If you haven't read the first two books in the Paths to love series, and you are looking for a good contemporary romance to read check out It's Not Over, and Three Dates. Mitch and Juliana are married with children when we readers meet them in the series. This was a really cute look at them getting to their HEA before marriage and kids. Though this was a short novella it didn't feel rushed. I loved Juliana and Mitch both and I really enjoyed getting to see a bit of their backstory. This was a cute little read to hold me over until the next book in this series comes out.

Righting Our Wrongs brings readers of the Paths to Love series back to the Jacobs family with Mitch and Juliana's story. Set before the events of the previous books, it takes place when both characters are in college and has more of a New Adult feeling to it.

I adored Mitch and Juliana and theirs was a story I didn't even know I needed. They were great secondary characters in Three Dates but getting to see them fighting their own battles made them even more amazing. I loved that their story really stopped and made me think about things since it was one of those situations that makes me ask myself what I would do if it were me. Juliana loved Mitch more than anything but getting an opportunity that could change her life and fulfill her dreams really conflicted her. Then we have Mitch who struggled with his path and started to doubt if he was on the right one.

Getting to see them come together during the best and worst moments of their young love was captivating and had me rooting for them to overcome those roadblocks in their way. They were a very sweet couple that kept me smiling for most of the novella, even as I wanted to smack both of them upside the head and make forgive each other. Bottom line, this was a super fun read and one I am highly recommending. It goes along with the series since these characters were originally introduced in the previous book but it could definitely be read as a standalone if you haven't read this author yet and you're looking for a little sample of Ms. Claire.

4 stars!

I love the entire Jacobs clan from the Paths to Love series, but Mitch and Juliana’s story was one I never thought I’d get, as they are an established couple/side characters from Three Dates. I was so happy to get this novella of the start of their story. And it makes me even more excited for Mulaney’s book. She’s such a spitfire!

Mitch and Juliana are high school, now college, sweethearts. They have everything planned out and their entire life is ahead of them. Things change when Juliana gets a once in a life time opportunity to go to Paris and study abroad. This is something she’s always dreamed of doing. The problem isn't that she's going, it's that she keeps it from Mitch. This puts a wedge in their once certain and easy relationship. This short novella is about the two of them fixing their problems and righting their wrongs. It’s their story before the marriage and the kids.

I loved getting a look into this couples past/start. And I loved getting more STONE. Sigh. All fans of this series should check this out. And if you haven’t read these books, be sure to check them out. Especially my favorite, Three Dates. It’s a gem of a book!

Mitch Jacobs lives in Burdett, Texas where his family has a ranch. They are known as Burdett royalty, and are a very well known family. He's played football, but plans to attend vet school and then work at the ranch. He has his whole life planned out, including his future with the love of his life Juliana Morgan. They've known each other since they were children, and she was not just his girlfriend, but his best friend. They'd been a couple since high school, and soon had plans to move in together. Then she blindsides him, and turns his world upside down by leaving him to go to Paris.

Juliana is offered a once in a lifetime opportunity to do a study abroad program in Paris. She figures this is her one shot to go. She knew once life happened she'd never make time to get away. The problem was she waited to tell the man she loves she's leaving till the last minute, and she may have lost the best thing that's ever happened to her.

Juliana returns home to Texas four months later with some regrets. For every minute she'd loved Paris, she'd missed home and Mitch. She could never forget him no matter how many miles were between them. He had her heart, and always would. They'd both said things they couldn't take back, and didn't know where they stood anymore with one another. Will they let pride and misunderstanding get in the way of love?

-She'd been my sun for as long as I could remember.

-She was my strength and weakness.

-She was tender and sweet, yet saucy and strong. I'd never love anybody the way I did her.

Righting Our Wrongs is a Paths to Love novella about Mitch and Juliana who we first meet in Three Dates where they are married with kids. Mitch is Stone's older brother. This novella gives us more of his romance with his soulmate Jules, and this story takes us back to their younger years in college. I really enjoyed this book, and getting to know this couple. I hope we get a book for Mulaney next! :))

I thought going into this one I was going to get a hero that groveled (the synopsis lead ME to believe that), but that isn't what I got. Instead, I got a hero that acted like a whiny butthurt child. Should the heroine have told him the minute she found out? Yes, but people, she only waited TWO days to tell him. Not two months! He acted like she had been keeping this HUGE secret from him.

I also get people say things in the heat of the moment they don't mean, but she is back after four months, and he STILL was placing ALL the blame on her and acting like a child. The heroine had to shoulder all the responsibility for the breakup AND do all the chasing to get him back. And DO NOT even get me started on that biatch of a sister of his...like WTF?! Someone needed to throat punch her!

Righting Our Wrongs took me back to the swoony and slightly angsty new adult reads that made me fall in love with romance. And I just plain adored this book! Grahame Claire packs so much into this novella, but it never felt rushed. I was invested in Mitch and Juliana's story from the first page and Grahame had me swooning and cursing right up until this couple got their HEA.

This is the love story of Mitch and Juliana, who we previously met in Three Dates. If you have read the first two books in the Paths to Love series you know that Mitch is Stone's older brother and by that point, Mitch and Juliana are married with 2 kids. Righting Our Wrongs is an origins novella that is totally worth a read. It's set in the 90s when they're both in college and still trying to find their ways in life both together and apart, but it's obvious that they were truly meant to be and you'll fall in love with their story from the get-go. It's a quick read but I couldn't put it down and I'm positive that you won't be able to either. I'm so happy that we got to discover more about the Jacobs family and get a glimpse into the past of a truly inspiring story.

Righting Our Wrongs brings the story of Mitch and Juliana. It’s about them fixing their problems and making it right. I enjoyed their romance and watching them find their way back to each other and fight for their happiness. Loved the way the supported each other and trying to be honest. While reading it was obvious that they were soulmates and belonged together, it just took a while for them to see that .

Their story is really inspiring and loved every glimpse we got of them. Even though it was a short story - novella it didn’t lack anything. It was concise and to the point.

It was such a sweet, heartfelt, emotional novella. Recommend it.

I am loving these books written by these two incredible authors! They just keep getting better and better and I cannot wait to see what they have in store for us next. If you haven't read the first two books in this series, please do so, because you're missing out on two remarkable reads. I adored It's Not Over and fell in love with Stone and Muriella in Three Dates and couldn't wait to read Mitch and Juliana's story in Righting Our Wrongs and it didn't disappoint. What a heartwarming, heartbreaking, emotional and sexy journey that adds to this amazing series. I love the Jacobs family and their extended family and want to be a part of them. I believe a good sign of extraordinary writing is when a novella such as this "feels" and "reads" as a full-length novel -- no shortcuts or fluff, just absolute perfection! These authors have an impressive gift and I'm looking forward to reading everything they publish in the future.

What a sweet second chance!

4,5 stars.

This time we get to know the story of Mitch (Stone's brother) and Julianna. It's a second chance standalone, but I totally recommend reading the previous books.

After loving each other for so many years, Jules and Mitch experiment the one argument that could end what could be a wonderful future together.
Mistakes were made by both of them, and now it's time to see what is stronger: their love or their pride.

It was so sweet seeing them again and revisiting the Jacobs family. And we get another glimpse at Mulaney. She is one heck of a troublemaker.
She meddled at lot, and if she was my sister she would get in a big of a serious trouble for that, but her heart is in the right place.

I'm loving the Jacobs!

This is a novella in the series Path to Love. I enjoyed reading the book and was glad to get to know Julianna and Mitch more but I would have to say that I liked the first two books more. Don't get me wrong this book was still a good read but I just didn't enjoy the characters the same. That being said this is still a really good story on how Julianna and Mitch find a way to get their HEA. As always this is not an easy road and it will bring up challenges and pasts that neither character wants to have come up. All of these things just make the story more fun to read.

This book is actually about Juliana and Mitch's story of falling in and out of love. Juliana and Mitch have been together for a while and both are looking at a long term future when Juliana drops the surprise that she is going to Paris for a semester. After the worst fight they both walk away. Will time and distance help them find their way back to each other?

This was a sweeter story than the previous two. We get young love here. I loved getting to know Mitch and Juliana better. They were in the previous books but not a lot of details. The authors have created characters that I fell in love with. I hope there are going to be more books in the amazing series!

He'll give her Paris but he ends up heartbroken when she went on her own.

Juliana caught Mitch's eye at a young age but neither was sure of the others feelings.
Their families saw what their true feelings were for each other. Mitch's sister Mulaney is a spitfire. She says what she wants and minces no words. She does mean well at times when it comes to Mitch and Juliana but ends up causing a bit of a break up and then she has to do some fixing.
Having read Grahame's previous books you get to meet the Jacobs family at a younger age. I love getting the different stories of characters that have shown up on related books.
This is definitely a book to read. You get to be so entertained by all the characters not just Mitch and Juliana but make no mistake this book is their story.
Highly recommend.

I am volunteering to leave a review for a ARC of this book.  And have purchased my own copy.

Perfect short story, lovely and oh so romantic!

And again there is this universal truth that when you are afraid to do/say something because you think it will end badly or hurt other person the longer you wait the worst the outcome will be. And in most cases the outcome is the one you had been most afraid off.
How to face our wrongs? How to make things right? Sometimes we just need to pocket our pride and made first step.
This read was sweet, romantic and even if short very well written and outlined. Love Juliana and Mitch and this part of the series gave me more insight why Paris is so special place for them. And Mulaney, oh boy already then she was one that ruled those boys.
Can't wait for the next book in the series.

This beyond heartwarming story can be read as a standalone. Just so in awe of the craftsmanship, the flawless flow of the story & the enticing characters that make you want to punch them, hug them, take them home but above all root for them & love them as they're as flawed & smart & sassy & funny & sexy as all hell, I'd like to say like most of us but for me, perhaps not so much the sexy part, ha! Only my third book by this amazing author(s)? but already a HUGE fan. Can't wait for the next book, so many stories still untold. Highly recommended, tissues may be required if you're a softy like me for the extra special feel goods.

This book is sweet. In this book we get to see Mitch and Julianas story. We met them in Stones book three dates. Mitch is Stones brother and a veterinarian for their family farm. In three dates Stone and Muriella buy a place in Paris for the family when they find out Mitch and Juliana want to take their girls there. In this book we find out why Paris is so important to Mitch and Juliana. Their story is one of first love and heartbreak. It is forgiveness and finding the way back to your soulmate. We get to see more of the Jacobs family and the bond we saw in three dates. This story was quick one to read and is an enjoyable look at characters we met in previous books.

—>>> Review Rating: 3.5. out of 5 stars - Juliana and Mitch’s characters go through some real and deep heartbreak at the cusp of a life already planned to be spent together, and it is just the beginning of their trials. What was thought to be ended between them could no longer be denied, once they were brought to face the upheaval they had tried to bury, despite the meddling of do-gooders.

This was a wonderful novella about a couple of secondary characters in Three Dates. It took us back in time and I was lost for a bit. Perhaps this one should have been told first. I loved the ending. Mitch and Juliana are perfect for one another, and even though they went through some rough patches, it all worked out for them. Another very good piece of fiction by this talented author.
