Born and bred to rule, I embraced my place in our family with pride.

I was the leader. The boss. The king.

Fueled by my family’s need for revenge, I was on a bloody path toward vengeance. That’s when I found her—a filthy, weak, broken girl.

The mystery that surrounded her seduced me. Her secrets pulled me down to the deepest pits of hell, the demons of her past threatening to burn the empire I swore to protect.

Now the devil himself is knocking at my door, wanting his beautiful, broken girl back.

But she’s mine now. I claimed her. And anyone who dares to take her away from me will be completely, utterly, royally…

Bella J is one of my fave authors, she never disappoints with the proven equation of raw carnal passion, need, steam, hawtness, anticipation and suspense

...damn, I can't wait to meet the Mafia King
I. Am. Your. King.

There's something to be said about Antonio Valenti, the Boss of the Valenti Family, and I haven't even begun thinking about it...*wink*
My family thought they know me, but they didn't. No one knew me. There were days I didn't even know myself.

An immoral sinner.
A depraved mortal.
A cruel monster.

Yes, Antonio Valenti is a man with a deep dark shadow looming inside of him. And he's trying to keep it confined inside, ever since he experienced the BDSM scene gone wrong when his inner depraved beast went out of control...

and now, Antonio is all about control....BUT not for long, his grounds are shaken when he finds a container with an unusual shipment.

Nessuno. Nobody.

A battered, starved, naked female. And a completely subdued sex slave.
To obey was my only talent. To please was my only purpose. To exist without living was my only fate.

After all, I was nothing, and nothing didn't have the luxury of making choices.

And the only one who instantly recognizes the dark inside him.
That was when I knew, she and I, we were from the same world.
One forced and ruined to exist within it...the other willing, yet unable to participate.

This dark connection and recognition only intensifies the tension between them and torture within themselves...

unable to contain it any longer, in search for answeres - of who she really is, why she just happened to be almost dropped off at his doorstep without any clue - Antonio caves in,

finding solace in depravation of her submission as she finds the purpose and salvation in pain and pleasure, that she was never allowed to feel.
The darkness she had been forced to live in made her appreciate the light. It made her unwordly and completely irresistible to a monster like me.

the dark need that consumed them both, only pushed the limits of Antonio's inner beast, a depraved, possesive monster, as he calls it. There's no denying that Nessuno/Doe is his - his to ruin, his to mark, his to possess, even though he's far from the real monsters she had the horrible misfortune to experience in her entire life.

but then little pieces of information come filling in and the mosaic suddenly comes to a revelation and it changes the game, completely...Nessuno's real identity comes to life that actually turns the odds of their connection into a sick irony...but it's too late for Antonio to back down now, as his claim is deep and irreversible...
I'm not the one of the good guys who can save you, Doe. But I'm the bad motherfucker who will raise hell in order to protect you.

and the war has just begun...

As Bella J leaves an open window for the next installment that would give more insight into the turmoil of changes in Nessuno/Doe/Alessa's life in Mafia Queen, this book dwells on the thin line between need for the pain and consumption with the pain, it's borderline dubious, and it 's intriguing to have the power of making different interpretations of the same subject in question.

As my main fixation was placed on the notion, or more like an inquiery of whether Nessuno "needs" the pain to submitt cause she's trained to desire it and can she really tell the "difference" when wanting it willingly while Antonio is demanding it... and in that aspect I needed more to figure it out. I didn't romanticize it, and you shouldn't cause that's not what they share at all, and I actually loved that, but as someone who is not really getting the pain/pleasure connection, I felt sad for what happened to Nessuno. I felt gross and powerless...and I so wanted fr her to regain herself, but I felt like she needed more time to do so...

and I know that she would have her time in the next installment, I just felt like she needed a glimpse of hope for herself, without the "need" of the man, master...

I guess that would be left to consider, or not, for any of you that will embark on this journey on your own.

Mafia King is a gritty twisty tale, much darker than the two previous books in the series. I liked this story and found myself captivated by Antonio and Doe's relationship which comes from a place where most wouldn't find one. Bella J. kept me bound to the page with her wonderful storytelling and well-written plot and I am curious to see where the future will lead for these two.

Antonio

An immoral sinner. A depraved mortal. A cruel monster.

"God, she was perfect. Everything about her was perfect—even her brokenness. Perfectly broken, and beautifully ruined."

Doe

To obey was my only talent. To please was my only purpose. To exist without living was my only fate.

"For someone like me who had been broken, the prospects of a devil avenging my ruin were poignant and powerful. "

Books, books, and more books... My life has been surrounded by books these past couple of years and the more I read... The more I want... Insane right?
What's even more insane is that I used to hate reading...
If found out a few genres and like everyone, there are the ones that I love and some that I don't like. But there are two genres that I can't wait to devour... MC and Mafia... And oh boy... This author knows what she's doing.
Bella J. has introduced me to this mafia series a couple of months ago and I was a goner from the first page. Not only the plots are amazing but the covers she chooses are stunning and hot...
Her writing is raw, dark, dangerous and hot at the same time.
Mafia King is her latest release and it's the third book from the Royal Mafia Series and you really should read all books in order.
This new book explores the lifes of Antonio and Alessia.
Antonio is the king, an evil and twisted king that takes no prisoners, despite fighting the darkness sometimes it's impossible to achieve... Used to rule and seek what he wants in order to protect his family it's his goal. Don't cross his path because if you're on his bad side you'll end up dead or worse...
Nessuno aka Alessia was taken against her will to be tortured and abused. She had suffered tremendously and was left to die. One day someone found her but will he be her savior or her executioner?
What the hell?? It's over... The book is over... Why??? Why???
Seriously... I'm mad... I'm happy... I'm sad... Jesus...
The plot is amazing, very well written, super engaging and surrounded with the unknown...
The interaction between the characters was raw and intense. Each scene left me with the need to want more and more each time.
Once I started to read this book I couldn't put it down. Things were happening in a way that made me devour this book in no time.
Now I'm mad... Mad because it's over and I want the rest of it. The rest of it...
This book, resembling the other books from this series presented us with darkness, drama, violence, betrayal, as well as love, loyalty and second chances...
I'm stunned... Overwhelmed... Amazed... Dayum...
Seriously Bella..... Will we wait to long? Please say no…
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Well, Ms. Bella J. definitely wrote a powerful story in Mafia King that rocked cover to cover and jacked me up completely before dropping me off a cliff! Now I'm dying inside because I barely have any answers to how it's going to pan out after a HUGE twist came out of nowhere so I'm barely holding it together. Needless to say, she's near the top of my list of authors trying to KILL ME DEAD, and hash tagged #EVILWHOREQUEEN (can't use the whole w word on Amazon or they won't publish the review so you’ll have to use your imagination there). Anyway, Antonio is the head of his powerful family, and finds himself with a broken girl out of the blue. They know that she's been sold into slavery, but doesn't know who has had her, because she can barely talk from fear. They have to figure it out soon, as it's dangerous, and they're getting notes threatening them, not to mention, she's stirring things up in Antonio. So yeah, that's all that I'm willing to give away about that, but trust me, there's so much more to this story. Obviously there's crazy angst that made it hard to breathe at times, on top of chaos of the twists & suspense because human trafficking ain't no joke, or for the faint of heart. And Doe's PTSD is realistic in the telling which made me have to put the story down at times because of my heart breaking. Anyway, I NEED the next part of this story like yesterday, and HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL, but remember it's not an easy story!

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. WTF. This book it drained me. I felt so sorry for Alessia. The struggles Antonio goes trough, fighting his true self. This book was dark but deeply intriguing. I CANNOT wait to see how it ends and what happens to Master V. This book had tons of drama and great story line. I also really lie the characters throughout the book. Lorik and Lucio are funny!! Great read, I couldn't put it down and can't wait for the next one.

OMG this book did not end like that did it?? I can't even...what in the actual whaaaat....my mind is going about thousand miles per hour right about now. This book was so terrible that it was AMAZING. My God I don't even want to know how Bella J got the info to write this book. It was heartbreaking and ugly and yet underneath it all you could still see and find hope for this poor girl and her future that is about to change forever with Antonio's help.

The next book - Mafia Queen is going straight to my no.1 spot at my TBR!

An amazing and amazing book, i finished this book two days ago and it's still on my mind. This is the best book in the series, i didn't like Karina and Lorik book, and i dnf the first 50 pages. Dante and Layla's story was very good but Antonio and Alessia story blows my mind. I connect with them from the first page and my heart literally broke for Alessia and her painful past. I don't want to believe that what she been through can actually happen in real life.

Antonio is alpha, dominant hero. He has his secrets and regrets and the author development his character amazingly.

I have to say that I have one effed up mind! This series gets darker and darker with each book and man it gets twisted and down right dirty but I love it so much I stay up till three in the morning reading because I have to know what happens. Mafia King just blew me away. I loved Karina and I loved loved Dante but Antonio just blew me away! He stole my heart right from the start and I just couldn't get enough of him.

Antonio is on a path of vengeance and he will stop at nothing to get his revenge on those who try to hurt him and his family. That is until the day he meets her Alessia. She is one broken down beat up girl till she meets Antonio and he treats her differently like a queen not like a piece of shizz. She comes with lots of secrets but Antonio wants her nonetheless.

Then as things are looking good the enemy comes knocking for his girl. He wants her back and will stop at nothing to get her back but what he soon finds out is that Antonio is determined to keep her as his and give her the life she deserves. Alessia and Antonio will have to fight like hell to take down the enemy.

The ending let me say was like WTF just WTF I could not believe it. I kept thinking the kindle was playing a cruel joke on me but it wasn't so I kept re-reading the last chapter and yes it ended like that. This is a heart wrenching and ugly story but it is also a lovely story that will tug on your heart.

THIS is what I’ve been waiting for this whole series. This book-is hands down, the best of the three. In the past, Bella J has had some seriously amazing books, so I was definitely expecting a great read. I LOVED how she tipped the line and decided to go a bit darker, and more detailed with her writing this time around. She will absolutely quickly become a queen in the dark romance genre-and I know the next book, will be that much more amazing.
One thing I have to especially point out is the dialogue. I think a lot of authors have trouble with it sounding real, and after a while gets to be corny. Honestly-Bella J knocked this out of the park, because I literally have no complaints and I think this was a stellar part of the novel-the dialogue between the characters that made me believe the characters were that much more genuine.
I really can’t wait for the next book!

Antonio!!!! 😍.. SIGH!!!!!.... So my favorite Valenti has finally gotten his book & I couldn't be happier. Antonio is the elder brother, the next in line to the throne and yeah he is ruthless, but I never expected his story to be so heart wrenching and intriguing. I certainly didn't expect and see that coming. Antonio is every bit the Mafia King. But then there's this nameless, unknown girl that lands in his life, he knows nothing about her, but her light, her scarred innocence calls out to his darkness... Dhudddd!!!!!!... Yeah.. That's me Fallen hard for Antonio 😍😘😘.... He is every bit the ruthless mafia yet you can't help but fall in love with his take no prisoners attitude. The way he talks, the way he carries himself... I'm crazy in love with Antonio ❤️❤️..... But THEN WHAT THE WHAT...... DIDN'T SEE THAT COMING AT ALL... BUT I was definitely waiting for something like that to happen because Bella J. Is sooo good at doing that to her readers, she loves to kill them with suspense.... But I live for it and I LOOOOVVED ANTONIO... Can't wait for the next one.... ❤️

Definitely not what I was expecting but turned into my favorite of the 3! Antonio always had me wondering about him. Never did I imagine the connection with him and doe to be so strong and dark. She is the definition of indestructible. Bella definitely went above and beyond with this book because I kept getting shocked with the creativity put into it! So much I want to write but I dont do spoilers ;)

This book was a little on the dark side but still amazing.

Alessia has not had the easiest life and I really hurt for her. Antonio is a very powerful man that also has a dark side to him. This dark side also feeds his fear of hurting his partner.

The connection between the characters was off the charts. Bella went above and beyond with this book. I can't wait to see what comes next because holy cliffhanger!!!!

The writing was great… the author is clearly talented, but the message and Antonio was horrible. Bottom line: This story had messed up… piece of crap story message for a story.

Doe witnessed her mother’s murder and was taken into sex trafficking when she was 10. Her life was a non stop horror show. She became so used to hurting and being a submissive slave she had no identity of her own anymore. It was the worst thing I’d seen in a heroine. I literally wanted to hug her and give her anything I had. Her master cut her ear off among so many other things.

When she is found by Antonio and his men in a shipping container, she immediately recognizes him as the leader and treats him as her new master because that’s all she freaking knows. The problem is, he’s a closet dom… and not a good one. His previous partner cheated on him and he went crazy whipping her until she was scarred and almost dead. Since they, he’s been keeping a lid on his tendencies. When Doe calls him maser, he is intrigued and conflicted. He says he doesn’t want to go back there… like he’s an addict and needs a 12 step program. You can guess where this is going.

He doesn’t give her more than a couple days before he’s dominating our poor heroine even though he admits she’s been to hell and b ak and he supposedly feels bad about her plight and the monsters that hurt her. Oh the irony. He convinces himself he’s a different kind of monster. Potatoe… potato.

Their first scene has him whipping her until she bleeds and she’s grateful that it’s not as bad as the other master’s.

What I would have like to have seen: I don’t think Doe would ever have a normal relationship with a man. She needs therapy. She needs to find her inner strength and worth, then fall in love with a supportive Antonio who wants the best for her even if it means he denies himself. She needs time to change her inner dialogue. She says things like she can’t believe a strong powerful man like Antonio would even care about a nobody like her and she was so grateful he was taking care of the wounds.. HE… put on her. She was warped in her thinking. This author should have more interest in making sure women are made whole and not further taken advantage of. IMO

I understand the D/s relationship. This was not that type of relationship. It was a Dom/slave relationship. I could have gotten on board with her making a decision to be submissive to him, but otherwise it’s rape and he’s a masochist.

I also didn’t like how Antonio talked to his sister. Sure, he’s the head of a drug family, but I didn’t like him.

It’s possible he seeks redemption. Maybe in the next book.

Waking up they tell her not to be afraid, but these people aren’t part of her world, but she didn’t want to answer their questions for fear of punishment. She feels him, the sound of power and authority, he wants her name, so she gives him Nessuno – Italian for nobody.
Antonio knew that she could tell he was there, he felt something and knew she did to, they saw a scared, women, he saw total submission and not because she wanted to, she had to.
Antonio knows, that she answered him because she is a slave, with no other choice the need answers and don’t have time he lets the side he kept hidden take over and stakes him claim, she was his. Antonio sets rules for her and lets her know she will trust him and gives her a new name, Doe.
Antonio knows no matter what the cost, he’s not giving her back to Vadik Volkof, something about Doe is drawing him in, her innocence even though she’s lived in the darkness that he knows to well. Antonio stays away, the things he wants to do to her he wants to do to her he shouldn’t, knowing what she’s been through, before leaving for the meeting, he gives Doe a perfect moment, he knows won’t happen again, he’s too wrong for her.
Doe has known what the devil is like, she can feel Antonio’s darkness needing to devour her, but he was different, he gives her moments of light. Antonio tells her how he is possessive and a sadist, and how he ruined everything, she knows she has to get him away from his memories, so she will survive the whipping, can she pull Antonio from the darkness and be his light, give him the trust he wants from her and her name.
The ending gives you answers about Doe’s beginnings and how she got where was, but also leaves answers can’t wait to read Mafia Queen.

I received a copy and voluntarily left a review and all opinions are my own.

Bella J. has had me falling hard for this Mafia family since the beginning of their series, so to say I was ready to crawl into bed with Antonio Valenti and get to know the head of the family better, is an understatement. I couldn't wait to dive between the covers of “Mafia King” and spend some time with this Italian hottie, who should be terrifying but I just felt drawn to by the air of danger that surrounds him.

Antonio is so much more than just the head of the family. He is a man who loves with his heart and soul and will move heaven and earth to protect his family and his woman. I couldn't help but swoon every time he asserted his sexy dominance over his “pet” and let his dark side out to play. He kept my emotions in a tangle and adrenaline surging with every word and touch.

From the moment I met this broken and tragic heroine, she piqued my curiosity with all the mystery and sadness that surrounded her. Bella J made us work to get to know this mystifying character and see the vulnerable young woman who only has eyes and for her “master” Antonio at first sight. Her connection is immediate and explosive with Antonio from the start and I couldn't wait to see them “play”.

Bella J delivers another tale in the Royal Mafia series that is surrounded my darkness and mystery that a reader can't help but dive into. I highly recommend Mafia King for an intense romance with a powerful and fierce king that you will love. Bella J's writing has always drawn me in but the darker she writes the more I am addicted. I am always left wanting more and more from this talented, amazing author!

For the love of Almighty, Mafia King portrays a true Mafia Boss - Ruthless, Cocky, Arrogant, Sexy, Merciless and above all, a Dominant Alpha Male. Antonio is a true Valenti, taking the family under his wings in an all too bossy manner. He carries his own demons of past, disturbing yet alluring, beautiful yet broken. When he meets his soulmate, all hell break loose. It is the third installment in Royal Mafia Series.

Mafia King is the first book to ever make me cry. The narrations by Doe aka Nessuno has been quite disturbing, heart-wrenching and mind boggling. A true insight into Human Trafficking is what this book reflects upon. The brokenness, fearful and compelling nature of Doe is what makes me glued to each page. If nothing, this book is the epitome of misery in an all too familiar way. Bella breathes life into her characters so masterfully, you will want more. Antonio, here is the only one who can summon/command our pretty broken doll. And he will take the role upon himself to deal with her in a masochistic way. He will learn to embrace himself, who he is and what he can be without carrying the demons of his past with Doe's help. He's good. He's bad. He's merciless, he's broken yet he's perfect for our Doe. Doe, on the other hand, will mend herself and soon, rise to the power unknown.

Checklist:
Plot: ★★★★★
Steamy/Sex Scenes: ★★★★★ (With tons of kinkiness)

What the actual f... That's the first book that actually drove me the road and pushed me off the cliff in few minutes since I started reading it. I knew that Antonio's story was going to be better that his siblings but I have NOT think that it would be THIS different. The way Alessia's story was introduced, the topic of this book is not something I imagined. Thing's that she went through and the way Antonio's character was A LOT different from Katrina and Dante... I knew he would be something big since he was the quiet one in the books before and the quiet ones were always fucked up in some way but HOLLY SHIT! Once again: I DID NOT EXPECT THIS!
It was really hard to read at moments and I thought of putting this book down a few times because of the information I found out but in a positive way. As in the topic of the story was tragic to read but the way it was introduced and written - Alessia's behavior, past and Antonio's true-self.... That was a different level truly.
Certainly hard to imagined but amazing to gain such a dramatic knowledge at the same time. Not a book to relax while reading but something to read to see a different side of people's nature.
Hats down to the author

WOW!!

First things first...that cover! HOT! This is by far the best book yet in the series. I'd been waiting for this type of excitement and anticipation in the first two books, and finally got it with Mafia King! The writing in this book is alot more descriptive which allows you to really get sucked into the darkness.

Antonio did play a role earlier in the series but I had no idea what I was in for with him front and center. His demons shone through, and the author took us with him as he battled. His role as head of the family is to keep control, keep everything in line...yet here he is unable to control even himself. Nessuno is a tortured being; mind, body and soul. What she doesn't know is fate may finally be on her side and has her doing some torture of her own. Together, they are each others nightmare, a constant reminder of their wrongs in this world. The turmoil their emotions caused definitely was a front and center piece to this book. It was raw, it was wrong, but the author played it oh-so-right.

I enjoyed the first two books in this series, but truly loved this one!

Antonio has been an enigma all along, but one dark night, one shipping container out of nowhere, and one broken girl are all it takes to make him show us his true colors.

His depravity or as he calls it that he's struggling to fight is pulled out of him with one word. Master.
Yes, you heard that right. Doe has been sold when she was just 10 years old, right after she watched her mother being murdered in front of her. Being a slave is all she knows and when she sees the darkness in the depth of Antonio's eyes, she knows, without a word, that he is her new owner. Her Master.

Well, the first two books were thrilling and fun, but Antonio's story? What I've been waiting for ever since I chose this series.
