Haven Lockwood’s Christmas takes a nosedive when she discovers that her mother and identical twin sister, Brynn, ditched her, leaving her to spend Christmas alone in their New York City apartment. To make matters worse, Brynn’s boyfriend Wyatt shows up, ready to take Brynn on a road trip to Atlanta to meet his family.
Haven is fully prepared to tell Wyatt the hard news—that her flighty twin sister jetted off to Ireland with a movie star, leaving him high and dry—however, when she finds herself staring into his mesmerizing blue eyes, all explanations fly out the window. Not only is Wyatt devastatingly handsome, but also charming and witty with an adorable Southern accent that rolls like a ballad off his tongue.
Haven knows that when Wyatt looks at her with adoring eyes it’s only because he has mistaken her for her glamorous clothing designer sister. She wants to tell Wyatt the truth, but she can’t stand the thought of spending Christmas alone. As one thing leads to another and Haven and Wyatt share a near-kiss, Haven makes a split-second decision to accompany Wyatt to Atlanta—as Brynn!
When the sizzling attraction deepens to something real, Haven faces an internal dilemma—should she come clean now, before Christmas, or wait until afterwards? Will the truth destroy Haven’s chance for happiness … or will it be the very thing that brings two searching hearts together?
Jennifer loves reading and writing clean romance. She believes that happily ever after is not just for stories. Jennifer enjoys interior design, rollerblading, clogging, jogging, and chocolate. In Jennifer’s opinion there are few ills that can’t be solved with a warm brownie and scoop of vanilla-bean ice cream. Jennifer grew up in rural Alabama and loved living in a town where “everybody knows everybody.” Her love for writing began as a young teenager when she wrote stories for her high school English teacher to critique. Jennifer has a BA in English and Social Sciences from Brigham Young University Hawaii where she served as Miss BYU Hawaii. Before becoming an author, she worked as the owner and editor of a monthly newspaper named The Senior Times. She now lives in the Rocky Mountains with her family and spends her time writing and doing all of the wonderful things that make up the life of a busy wife and mother.
What a riot! Haven shows up to spend Christmas in NYC with her mother and twin sister, only to find they have each made other plans. When her Brynn's boyfriend shows up to take her home to meet the family for the holidays, Haven goes right along with it. In a classic case of mistaken identity, the laughs and chemistry kept growing.
I enjoyed the humor and camaraderie the characters share and especially loved the sudden, yet natural growth of the romance between Wyatt and Haven. Their connection is solid and smoldering and the best part is the reaction when everything unravels.
My heart was invested and I couldn't wait for the characters to unravel the secrets they kept from each other. The anticipation was almost like waiting for Santa to arrive! I loved the solid traditions, the generous nature, and the simmering sparks of love that enveloped the plot.
Content: light innuendo; mild, sweet romance

Love, love, love!! ❤ Wow, and I do mean wow! This novel was excellent and thorough without becoming explicit! I love romantic novels and this one had a wonderful storyline to keep me entertained! Fabulous!
I really enjoyed this story! I loved how Haven and Wyatt got to know each other, and her relationship with his family members was sweet, too. I didn't really sense the chemistry between the two, though—it was a nice story but not a swoony romance.
I did get tired of Haven's constant inner battle about telling Wyatt the truth, but I appreciated the way the truth finally came out. And I could've completely done without the inn/treasure hunt subplot: that stretched credulity more than anything else in the novel. I also have to mention that the title technically fits, but just barely. A different title would've worked much better.
Ultimately, though, this book is a totally Hallmark movie waiting to happen, and I would love to see the story played out on screen!
In this sweet, clean read, Her Crazy Rich Fake Fiancé, Jennifer Youngblood takes us on a journey of mistaken identity, deceit, loss, longing, and love.
We join elementary school teacher Haven, as she treks to Manhattan to reestablish ties with her mother and twin sister after her father’s unexpected passing. When she gets to NYC, she learns that her mother, who invited her for the Christmas holiday, has decided to remain in Greece with some friends. Haven’s famous fashion designer twin, informs Haven that she, Brynn, will also be heading for Europe over the holidays, so Haven can enjoy the apartment and the city on her own.
As an afterthought, the self-absorbed twin also asks Haven to inform her boyfriend, Wyatt, that Brynn won’t be accompanying him to his parents for Christmas.
A case of mistaken identity, unexpected adventures, and a series of new experiences occur causing Wyatt to see “Brynn” in a whole new light. But what will happen when Haven’s ruse is exposed? Will she and Wyatt work through it or will she return to the boyfriend she left in Tennessee?
Book quote: She gave him a radiant smile that melted his insides. His throat tightened as he coughed. “In the spirit of starting over, I figure we should call things as they are — us as an official couple.” “I’d like that,” she said softly, her gaze holding his.
Although there were a couple loops that weren’t closed. The story results in an HEA and provides a satisfying, light read.
Jennifer has delivered a story of consequences, love, redemption, and forgiveness that will leave you smiling and lighthearted in the end. This is a read you can count on if you want to walk away feeling good and having your faith in wholesome family values affirmed.
Book quote: Time seemed to be suspended as Ellie looked at Wyatt and Brynn. They made it to the edge of the yard when they heard a bang. “Stop where you are! … I knew I’d catch you eventually.”
A fun adventure that you will read in one sitting.

It's hard to weave together a story like this but the author does a fantastic job. 5+ stars.
When Haven leaves her home in Tennessee to spend Christmas in New York with her twin sister and her mother, she is disappointed to discover that her mother is in Greece and her sister is leaving to go to Ireland with a movie star. As she’s contemplating what to do by herself in New York, her sister’s boyfriend shows up wanting to take her to be with his family for Christmas. What they end up finding is basically a hidden treasure. When the press finds out secrets will be revealed. Will it lead to Haven and Wyatt losing what could be the best thing to ever happen to them?
I really enjoy Jennifer Youngblood's stories. She has an engaging writing style that is clear, clean and easy to read. Her characters are sometimes loveable and sometimes easy to hate... Haven and Brynn, twin sisters who grew up separately and while being identical in looks could not be further apart in character. I loved the unfolding of the plot and I was cheering for Haven with her resilience in the face of such dismissal by her mother and sister. I also loved the finding of the 'ring' and the scenes written in such detail that I felt I was there. Such a wonderful story full of Christmas spirit and love. I too would love to be part of Wyatt' family. Thank you Jennifer for a fabulous read.
I loved the story of Wyatt and Haven, although I think she should have told him the truth much sooner than she did. Haven's sister and mother are shallow and it was unbelievable how they didn't even want to get to know her after being apart for so many years. I loved the reaction of Wyatt and his family when they find out the truth. There were many funny and sweet moments throughout the book. Wyatt's family is great, although I wasn't a big fan of Aubry at first. The Ding Dong Ditch scene was amusing as well as heartwarming. I listened to the author reading the story on YouTube and totally enjoyed it.
Loved this story! Fell in love with the main characters Haven and Wyatt. Their friendship was so sweet and it was so lovely to see their relationship progress throughout the story. The storyline flowed well, and the romance wasn't rushed, but felt real and genuine. The plot was also interesting and I enjoyed every minute! I really liked some of the secondary characters as well; they added a lot to the overall story. A wonderful, feel-good Christmas story! I would recommend this to all lovers of clean, sweet romance! Very deserving of 5 stars!
5 stars I purchased a copy of the novel Her Crazy Rich Fake Fiancé by Jennifer Youngblood and this review was given freely. Easy flowing instant attraction romance with a fair amount of family drama, an odd turn of events, multiple characters hiding behind facades, touches of humor, and a happy ending. Chaos arises when Haven Lockwood’s selfish relatives and unforeseen circumstances lead to her being abandoned, posing as her outwardly identical but emotionally polar opposite twin Brynn, meeting the guy of her dreams, and experiencing the heart-felt family Christmas she longed for.
They may be twin sisters, but they are nothing alike in personality. One is spoilt and one is kind. When Brynns boyfriend turns up to take her to visit the family the last thing he expected was her. It didn't take him long to realise that something was different. Did his Brynn have a split personality. No! He had taken the wrong sister on holiday. And what a roller coaster of a holiday this is going to be for everyone
Jennifer has written a wonderful story with strong and believable characters. Haven has flown to New York to spend Christmas with her Mother and twin sister. When she arrives her Mother is in Greece and sister is leaving for Ireland. Her sisters boyfriend shows up. Should she tell him her sister is gone or just go away with him. I enjoyed this wonderful Christmas romance.
Really enjoyed this story of Haven (Brynn) and Wyatt (Charlie). After being dumped by her family she jumped at the opportunity to enjoy a family Christmas. Unfortunately under false pretenses because the attraction between the hero and the heroine grew to something more. But with the lies between them, there was a lot of stuff to work through. Particularly loved how Brynn got her comeuppance. Thanks.
Plot: Haven is visiting her twin sister and mother for Christmas. She doesn't know them well, as she grew up in her dad's care. When she gets to their home, her mom is off on a vacation and her sister is about to leave, so she'll be alone for the holidays. Her sister leaves with one parting request: her kind-of boyfriend is showing up to take her to meet his family, and will Haven tell him it's off? Her sister is leaving with some other guy for the holidays. The boyfriend Wyatt shows up and Haven can't make herself tell him, especially after he mistakes her for her sister. Instead, she ends up on a road trip to visit his family, in the guise of his girlfriend. There are lots of adventures along the way, but the truth comes out eventually - what will Wyatt's reaction be?
Commentary: It seems odd to me that Haven could carry off this sort of deception, not only because she didn't really know her sister (despite being twins) but because she doesn't seem like the kind of person who would be go0d at lying. And Wyatt - how many times has he met the sister? Not many, I guess. She didn't seem like a pleasant person at all - seems strange that he would hang out with her at all. But in the end, they all forgave each other. A little sweet for my tastes but definitely a happy resolution.
Her Crazy Rich Fake Fiancé--Christmas Romance Series PG 3 stars Violence-No Language-No Sex-No. There are a couple kisses. I am consistently annoyed when I read books where one of the mains has a secret and just won't cowboy up and confess. I know that's what drives the story along, like zombies in *The Walking Dead*; it just isn't my favorite. This time they both have secrets and when one is revealed so early on, I wish the other had followed.
I love this romance and all the crazy situations they go through. I adore Haven and her attitude and enjoy her fun adventures as her sister with Luke. I love the ding dong ditch Christmas gift tradition that is played here. I also enjoyed Remember and Lilian who I have seen in a couple other of the authors books. Lots of Christmas fun, traditions, and joy as these two, both in hiding set off on their adventures.
Such a sweet read. I loved how the mcs had time to get to know each other. I liked that Haven stood up for herself and charmed them with her true self. It wrapped up a little too easily, but it was a relief and less messy that way. Clean. Does Ellie have a story? Hint, hint.
A twin pretending to be her sister. What could possibly go wrong? As it turned out, it couldn't have been better. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the author crafted the resolution. It was a totally enjoyable read and I recommend it for anyone looking for a sweet, clean, feel good Christmas story.
I had a free copy of this book, but this is my voluntary and honest opinion. One sister poses as her twin for a Christmas adventure. Interesting story and characters. I enjoyed the book and the characters. The problems encountered were real and the responses of the other characters were interesting. I would recommend reading this book.
Oh wow. A twin confusion. Yes 🤩 I admit, I'm not a description reader. I see a cover and I read the title and I decide if I want to read the book or not 🙈 So I had only this to know what's the book about. I love fake relationships and I love millionaires and billionaires love stories, so yes I want to read this book. And yes, I was right. I loved it 😍
This was a story about a young woman who wanted to spend Christmas with her family but ended up on a fun adventures with someone she just met. It was a good story but you knew there would be problems to come. You can only be yourself no matter how good an actress you try to be. A wonderful journey.
Really enjoyed reading this. Such a sweet book. Loved both Haven and Wyatt, they bounced off of eachother really well. I love how they found out that the Brynn they liked was actually Haven and very accepting of her. I feel Haven grew a lot and learnt more about herself during the journey.
Wow, this was a wonderful book. It was about identical twins but the sweet teacher won the heart of Charles. I have an Identical twin sister so I loved the story. Thankfully, my sister and I have always been close and love being together when we can.
Oh my goodness, what an amazingly adorable story, I just wish Haven could have made up with her sister in the end...but when people are shallow it’s best to let them be. So happy for this story. Can not wait to read the next one!
The characters and storyline were well written. Loved the way that the main characters fell for each other, even though there were some mystery in who she was. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good romance.
I really liked this book! I’m not a fan of the dishonesty, but of course that has to happen to go along with the “fake fiancé” part. I really enjoyed how down to Earth the characters were and I loved the Christmas traditions. Fun read!
