Part of the Just Like Me series, this board book contains five flaps for youngsters or caregivers to lift as they share the story. The flaps lift on the right-hand side of the pages, revealing that youngsters have quite a lot in common with various animals. After all, they have floppy ears and tiny fingers and toes. The images rely on soft colors and smiling youngsters and feature a diverse cast of children in the different illustrations. Caregivers can share this with their little ones and remark on the similarities and differences among various species while also helping their youngsters recognize various body parts. I love the idea for this one.

A simple baby behind the flap book where animal traits are compared to babies.

3 months old. We read this as a part of a group session at the children's centre. Hattie loved staring at all the animals.
