This is the 7th book in the series.

In this book, I would want to read some of the other books in the series to fully understand what the hero's gone through which impacts on the story. If you want to know the overall story read the blurb above the review.

The plot was interesting and I was shocked at how much the impact of a previous capture/mission played with this couple's relationship. I do know, from experience, how missions and the military play with relationships in the soldier's lives. Our heroine believes she can't continue with this and approaches the subject of divorce with the hero.

The hero still loves his entire family with his whole heart; however, the mission he was on robbed him of his confidence in everything and he believes if that's what he has to give the heroine then that's what he'll give her. Once she learns they are to be parents again, really throws them both and the hero knows he still needs to be there for her.

However, when the plot thickens and an outside force decides to get to his family by other ways, our hero steps in and uses their (the entire family's) resources to keep them safe. Along the way the hero and heroine try and work out their differences and figure out what exactly went wrong.

Will they find it out? Will the pulling together of all their resources work or will someone get hurt or worse?

Like I said above, soldiers and their families have tough relationships and this book shows only parts of those relationships but it does it well. The marriage problems and how they go about resolving them or trying to of the hero and heroine are done equally as well.

The plot was ok and pretty predictable but liked how the flights were involved, but the information would never had been allowed out at all. Its just not done, but then unless you know military personnel you wouldn't know it.

Overall, the struggles of the relationship of hero/heroine was very well though out and worth the read but the mission/struggle of the suspense plot just didn't do it for me. I'll give it a higher star rating because I loved the relationship struggle between the hero and heroine.

not bad, more 3.5 stars because the plot was a bit lame, IMO. Sergeant J.T. "Tag" Price discovers his soon-to-be-ex wife is pregnant again (they already have two grown children) and he still loves her, so he does everything to get her back, mostly considering there's a danger luring and he cannot help but protect the ones he loves.

But a good story and I love this series really much so I'm already onto the next one!

Wonderful book. What a nice romantic story of two people who'd been married for over twenty years. Usually you see the new romance blooming, but this time the story focused on rekindling a long-time love. Wonderful.
