“Trust your instincts; intuition doesn’t lie.” A woman’s intuition just may be one of the most powerful forces on earth. It’s an internal magic that tells a woman when something isn’t right way before a man notices anything. In fact, it has been catching men do dirt for years… You have two women in very different situations. Cheyenne has found herself in one debacle after another, and she is at her wit’s end when she finds herself unemployed, carless, and almost homeless. She doesn’t have a man to speak of, but she is doing everything within her power to get herself back together, at least on the professional side of things. But as soon as she meets Parish, her instincts tell her to run in the other direction since the rumors she hears about him remind her of her ex, Jayson, and all his womanizing ways. Foolishly ignoring her gut instincts, she allows Parish in to break down her walls… all of them. Despite the way he came and swept her off her feet, Parish still has a chapter from his past that hasn’t been closed—that ex-girlfriend of his. Although she’s moved on and is in a whole relationship of her own, she manages to still have a hold on Parish. No matter how many times he’s tried to walk away from her, she’s his kryptonite. Then we have Alayah, who finds herself in a very toxic relationship by her own admission. She’s dealt with her longtime boyfriend, Rashad’s, infidelities and indiscretions for way too long. After meeting Marcel, a guy that seems to be everything that Rashad isn’t and has never been to her, she still finds herself holding Rashad down once he gets locked up. Will this misguided perception of blind loyalty she has for Rashad cause her to miss out on what could be the love of a lifetime?
“In the end, we only regret the chances we didn’t take.”
Quiana Nicole took that advice after the encouragement from one of her best friends and decided to take her writing to another level.
Born and raised in Menlo Park, California, Quiana discovered her desire for writing in fourth grade where she started writing poetry and short stories. It wasn’t until much later that her passion for writing grew from a hobby into therapy.
In 2014, Quiana wrote her first novel ‘Dirty Lil’ Secrets’ under Royalty Publishing House. Her best-selling series, ‘These Hoes Ain’t Loyal’ followed shortly after that. She has since penned several collaborations as well, you can find all of her titles on Amazon or Barnes & Noble.
In 2017, Quiana started her own company and is now the CEO of Major Key Publishing, where she is focused on unlocking your imagination, one book at a time.
While she works on other projects, she would love to her from her readers and supporters.
It started off really slow, but picked up along the way. I was rooting for Parish, but he's was thinking with the wrong head. Due to his stupidity, I'm questioning everything about him. Lay, needs to face facts Rashad means her no good. He's a cheater and controlling. After that ending, I can't wait to see what happens.
I'm liking the book, I'm over Alayah though and her being loyal to Rashad and he done had a baby on her. Chey is a little naive and Marie and Parish just really need to go their separate ways, he shouldn't run every time she call.
Great read! Alayah need to kick Rashad to the curb and keep it moving! He is using her! I can see Cheyenne moving slow after what happened with her ex! Now that she is happy with Parish you have crazy Maria! I predicted a baby would be added in the mix! Can’t wait to read part two!
