You Ain't My Type
Rye is a young adult struggling to find her purpose. Her parents have their ideas about how her life should be, and don’t mind imposing their beliefs onto her. They seemingly can’t mind their business, even when it comes to matters of her heart. They insist that her boyfriend Tori is the one for her, even after Rye decides that he just aint her type. This point is then further exasperated when Jaylen Braxton Junior enters the picture and the life Rye’s parents have planned for her soon falls apart.

This book was EVERYTHING. I love rereading this one.

Umm...
I enjoyed this story but certain "plot twist" happen in all of her books. Jaylen went the whole damn story being faithful but the author waits towards the end of the book to make him do stupid sh*t. And its always the guy getting oral sex or something else from another woman while their incoherently drunk. Her female characters get pregnant super early and they all do the same dumb thing; hide it from the father on some selfish sh*t. Another thing that irked me was tit was way you many ppl being mentioned I got confused. I don't know whose thebkids, the grandkids, and whoever else. I'm sorry but it males no sense that all those 30 something year old ppl have 20 something year old kids/grandkids. I don't know what Nicole's obsession with teenage pregnancy is but at this point in creeping me out. Most of the characters names are too close together, its too many J's & R's. I understand they're related but come on with that. It makes it hard to keep track. If her next book is about the same group of charactersandBeen though these stories are interesting she's lowkey telling the same story over and over again. I wanna see something new and fresh.

I can talk about these characters all day they’re so realistic and your characters development is always on point..Period. I really enjoyed reading this story. Jaylen Jr. was known as a P*ssy hound just like his daddy so it was fun seeing him fall in love.
My favorite passage in the book:

Never disappoints!
When I tell you this book was so good, I can’t make it up! It started off slow but once they touched back in H Town everything started to speed back up. I CAN NOT WAIT TO READ ABOUT LIL JEREMY AND JHYRAH !!! I also wanna read about Big Jaylen and Chantel! This book was soooooo good. Loved Ray Ray and his father duties, so happy for him and Roz. Smh at Red ... Lord I can see lil Jah following his foot steps with all these babies lol. I love the blended family and the stories.
PS: I was so happy to get all these updates for all the books that was left on answered even know people always say that this is typical I feel like it kind of gives us a background about our characters she was always mentions in other books. I never understood why people got mad that the characters names kept being repeated, eventually she’s going to branch off when she finished telling her stories but like to keep getting updates from everybody.

Unexpected love affair
Simply put, another great book by Nicole Jackson. This story is so fresh an up to date with our infamous Braxton family and friends. You can't get enough of the adults so she grows the kids up so we can witness the fresh lifestyles. I love this author's work and lil Jaylen's story is better than I expected. Rye, is perfectly created to go head to head with the ladies of the hour, specifically Keyasia. I am very pleased with the bond of Ray Ray and his growth towards his family and Roz. Speaking of Roz there's a new respect for her after she whooped Konya and apologized. Jaylen and Rye had that unexpected love affair that was the perfect match.

As usual Nicole J. worked her magic...even though it's not truly original, it's always captivating. She continues with the family saga of these extraordinary characters that continue to reincarnate the same plots. the 712 pages went by extra fast, so NJ's reads are like our favorite reality shows...we already know 'what's up' yet we can't seem to stop watching them.

Same ole same ole
In order for you to grow I was told that you have to tell the truth. If I’m being honest, I read all of Nicole’s books and I’m getting tired of the same story line. I personally believe that if this author stretched herself, she will be an even better author. I get it hood novels are your forte but after a while we must spice/switch that up a bit. I cant give this Sample a 5 star because it’s lacking originality. It’s almost as if you kinda know what to expect from the characters.

Please be advised this author never disappoints me. At first Take the time to read and avoid the negative reviews. It will have skeptical about reading this book because of the reviews of repetitiveness of old characters and it almost deterred you from reading it, but go against the grain and read the book. The author keeps you tied and the characters from other books come into play to give you history if you have read her previous book. Trust me, you will definitely enjoy this book in its entirety...😃

Jaylen & Rye
I loved Jaylen and Rye’s storyline. I’m glad she got away from her crazy ex, he was super lame how he treated her. And her step daddy Dwayne ended up being crazy shooting her mama like that. I’m glad the Rye’s real daddy put them hands on him. Dee was getting on my nerves throughout the day hole story, she was jealous and trifling going behind her sister back like that. And i was happy as hell, when they beat the breaks off Randi, she was a certified hoe trying to mess with everybody man. Smh. I’m glad Jaylen and Rue got their happy ending. Loved it!

Same story line as the rest different characters! (Yawns) boring is a understatement as I read and read I knew exactly what was gonna happen on the next page which caused me to skip pages out of annoyance and boredom smh that’s exactly why I waited unto this book went on kindle unlimited I know it would not be worth my ten bucks. Nicole I’m asking yet again please show us something different goodnesses gracious!

This book was everything and some. I have been reading it literally all day. While cooking, brushing my teeth. The whole nine. I loved the legnth. It was like 3 books in one. I couldn't put it down even if I wanted to. I'm not gone lie, I got lost a few times with all the family members but I think it only made the story better. I laughed out loud so many times you would think I was watching a comedy special. Amazing work Nicole. PURE AMAZING!!!!

Baby rye. Was on some dudes friends and all before jalen got that ass all the way together. Jalen was something else too like he would have mad when he found out about her past dudes and go off the chain behind it. Glad they made it out though but I want to know what happened to Dee after what her daddy did to konya. Great long book that was packed with action,sex,and lies.

Listen It’s something about them Braxton boys!! This book kept me entertain (especially if you read all other Nicole books). Some of your favorite characters pop up in this one & love it. Rye & Jaylen shows love is not defined on how long you knew a person but def on the chemistry.

Love her stories!!!!
I love how she brings updates for old characters. Old “Dirty Red” Randi strikes again. I love Nicole Jackson books since her 1st book the story just continues to flow. It’s amazing to show no matter who you meet in your city somehow, someway, and some where everybody knows each other and they are connected.

Nicole knocked me off my feet once again! I love the strong women she presented Rye as who slowed a wild Jaylen down. We know how he is from other books! We watched almost vividly how Rye and Jaylen transformed into better individuals! That’s the GOAL!!! Jackson just motivates me to stay on my game at all times!! I love her books!!?

Loved it
Lil Jaylen was a whole thot. But he fell in love quick. I liked rye for him and was glad to see he had a good come back when he messed up, and Raven didn't have to step in and help. Great book.

Good from beginning to the end
I enjoyed this book from beginning to the end. Tori and Dee both got on my last nerve. Tori lying on Rye and her sister basically telling stuff in her. Just so she couldn’t be happy with Jaylen. I’m glad that Rye and Jaylen had a happy ending.

Ahhhmazing
So good to see the ol mixed with new. As always never disappointed. Rye has been through some stuff in her young life just trying to find her way. But through the trials she blessed up with new family, friends and love she can call all her own. Bravo!!!

Great read
As always Nicole told a very entertaining story dropping a few life lessons in the mix. Once again we fall in love with characters we missed previously. I wish I lived in Houston during these times cause I ain’t found a dude popping out here yet. Awesome job!!!!

Good book
This was my first time reading from this author. Several people recommended her books, and I was not disappointed. I now realize that there are other books about some of the characters in the story, so I can't wait to read all about them as well.

Rye and Jay
It was so nice of Nicole to let her past characters appear in this book. Just a big old family reunion. I think Rye and Jaylen are my new favorite couple now. They had a lot of haters but they did not let that stop them from being together.
